This elevator leads directly to… THE GIFT SHOP! A Dec. 2011 TR from BWI - FINAL 8-27

No...not crazy I see it too!

I love all your character greets...Camp M&M was so busy the day we were there that I just forgo any attempts for meets and greets...and headed directly in and out for FOTL!
It can get that way very easily. It's a dead end so you either go and do it or avoid it altogether. We try to go in the middle of FoTLK in hopes of missing everyone else.

My friend who spent last week in WDW had a lucky run with characters. Before they left, I made her SWEAR on her UG that if the Millennium Village doors were open that they'd walk in.

Sure enough, the day they actually "looked" for the doors, they swung open right in front of them and 12 characters popped out!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

And... ya know... I do kinda see it. Are they the same cm? Playing different roles? :scratchin..hmmm
I honestly wouldn't be surprised. My friend that I mentioned above saw Alice in EP then a couple days later, the same girl was Tink at MK.

Sorry for my extended absence. Life has been absolutely bonkers around here.

The paper has been sending me out 3-4 times per week for the last 3 weeks and we've had family in town because DH's grandmother has been in ill health. She took a good turn and the out of town family members went back home. DH was having to work overtime to prepare for the yearly shut down week at the factory and I was dumb enough to put DS into basketball camp and hold a garage sale. Well, grandma passed this afternoon and the whirlwind has started all over again.

After the show, E and I cashed in our Fastpasses for EE

I think EE is THE smoothest coaster I’ve ever been on. The backward section does a number on me, but it’s not too bad that I can’t handle it without meds. I’ve never seen Betty the Disco Yeti in A mode and I understand WHY they won’t fix her. However, you’d think the guys that have brought forth advances in attraction technology could have seen this coming.

MB caught part of the parade to see the floats in action while we were in Asia. Seeing the floats in the parade is really cool. Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle is FAR better than the parade at DHS and not many people stop for it.

I like it to because the music is self contained, as I mentioned in a previous post. You can’t help but focus on the floats because everything is right there, right then.

After riding EE, E and I trekked back to Africa to ride the safari again. I’m not going to include anymore pictures from safari as the second round wasn’t as good as our morning run.

From there, we headed back to Discovery Island to look for our friend Russell. Luckily he was there again, but shortly after we arrived, we heard them notifying the queue that Russell would be leaving shortly. Again! :scared: We made it just in time and it was another great character interaction with Dug.

It was getting late and we needed to start heading to the front of the park to leave, but we wanted to have another view of us with the Tree of Life. The Photopass photog spent a good deal of time with us shooting several different magic shots and group combinations.

Great pics from the uber photographer! :thumbsup2

The AK parade is one of my favourite parades. The floats and costumes are just so colourful! Thanks for sharing.

Just remember that the photos in this TR are a hybrid of both E and mine.

So we'll answer to uber photographer(s) only! :rotfl2:

I agree with you on the AK parade being absolutely fantastic!! We had one of our best family memories during that parade.....I'll just say it involved my youngest DS (6 at the time) holding a plush snake, and just about every CM in that parade coming over and making a big deal over the "scary" snake!! :lmao: It was awesome.

Love the pic with Russell and Dug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for all of the thoughts. I'm completely spent after the family thing and the paper has been running me ragged!

On the flip side, I've got a job interview tomorrow!!! There is a secretary position open at a school that's not DS's but it would double my income for the year and I'd only have to work 25 extra days a year.

Fingers crossed Jenn!

Fingers crossed!!! only 25 days extra? Sounds like an awesome opportunity!!!

It's going to happen... someday.

DH wants me to look elsewhere but I don't want to start over somewhere new. Again..
