Celebrations Galore & Free Dining too! A Sept 2012 PTR (TR started!)

I'm glad you guys decided to attend MNSSHP! You're going to have so much fun :)

I can't believe Cole is 1 already!!! I saw that on your FB and was like 'no way!'

Thanks so much for reading! :goodvibes Do you have a PTR?? If not, feel free to post any of your plans here. I'd love to see where you'll be on each of your days!

We are so exciting to be going back for free dining. It's the best deal for our family right now. Speaking of flights, I just got ANOTHER credit from JetBlue! Our return flight was originally $155/person and it's now down to $110/person! We now have a credit of $180. That will come in handy because I'm dying to get down to NYC to visit my sister!

Hi! I don't currently have a PTR, but I should be starting one today or tomorrow, we'll see! Haha! I've got a mish-mash of trips from Sept 10-21st, so we really only overlap a couple of days, but it's still awesome!

Free dining is honestly so much awesome savings, I've always considered the dining plan, but when it's free?! :woohoo: And that's fantastic!! I'm still having trouble finding flights under $500.00!! :eek: Last year I booked in May for Sept flights and they were under $400!

T-Rex will be great! We love their food & the atmosphere. I've heard great things about Baby Cakes!

Do you think you're going to go with a theme of costumes for the fam or individually? The party should be great-- having candy for the rest of the trip will be fab too!

Aww, Cole and I have the same birthday! He seems like such a happy baby-- can't wait to see his birthday party pictures!

Happy belated Brthday to Cole!
Are you excited for the end of the school year? One milestone reached towards Sept! :rotfl:

We went to T-Rex once. I thought the fod was good, Brady was a little freaked by the loudness but we made it through the whole meal.

so glad that you are doing MNSSHP this year. Costume ideas can be difficult because it is so warm! We run into that issue in AZ. A lot of the fuzzy/furry/cute costumes are an automatic out because it can still be warm that time of year!

I'm happy about MNSSHP too. I already have my tickets in hand which puts a smile on my face. :goodvibes

I can't believe it either!!! This past year went by way too quickly.

I LOVE free dining!!! It helped us save over $700 for this trip!! :thumbsup2

Flights have been such a headache. The last time we went on vacation in Sept 2010, we were able to get nonstop flights on Southwest for $69 each way!!!! That was the best deal and I don't think we'll ever see flights that low again.

We have been to T-Rex once before in January 2009. It had only been open for a few months and we liked it. The food was just ok by my standards but Madison loved the dinosaurs.

My parents had some treats from BabyCakes in February and they liked them a lot.

Not sure yet on the costumes. Madison has her heart set on being a Jedi, but I told her she could be that on the actual Halloween. That costume will be too hot in Orlando!

Yay for June birthdays!!! Mine is 2 weeks from yesterday.

Happy belated Brthday to Cole!

Thanks!!! I am very excited for the end of the school year. Madison's last day is next Tuesday, the 19th.

T-Rex was very loud when we went, but it didn't bother us. Madison was 6 and she loved it. We'll see how Cole likes it!!!

Me too! We loved it so much in 2010 and we couldn't wait to go back. I was just hesitant with having a little guy with us, but we'll just see how Cole does. I can always take him back to the resort if he's getting too cranky and let Madison & Tony stay for the night. As long as I get to see the parade I'll be happy!

Day 5- September 22nd

Even though we have a late night on the 21st, that won't stop us from getting up early the next day! :goodvibes The plan is to head to DHS for EMH. I know. I'm nuts to get up that early after MNSSHP but it's vacation!!!

Anyways....we'll of course head straight to TSMM, grab FP's and then get in the standby line. I'll probably give Tony stroller duty that morning so I can make the FP dash (this includes leaping over small children and strollers). After TSMM, maybe we'll head over to ToT and RNRC. Not sure if Madison will tackle these 2 yet, but Tony & I love them. We typically use single rider for RNRC and then grab FP's for ToT and take turns. We'd also like to ride the new Star Tours.

We have an ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe for 11am. Madison and Tony loves this place so much last time and we had a great server (I mean cousin). I have been there many times and I knew they'd play along. I can't wait for some more fried chicken!!!

After lunch we'll head back to the resort for a nap/swim of course. The plan for the evening is to head back to MK to see the MSEP and Wishes!!! I'm sure I'll cry as usual. We will most likely try to ride a few things before the parade and of course grab a Dole Whip! :goodvibes

Now, it's time for the

DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE PARTY!!!
:cool1::banana::woohoo::dance3::cheer2::yay:
:rockband:party::jumping1:

We leave in 99 days!!!! I am so excited about this fact but I still have SO much to do!!!!

Oh my gosh...double digits already!!!!:dance3::dance3::cheer2::cheer2::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo:
That is awesome!! I really don't like to start my countdowns till around 100 days,..then you are so close to double digits! LOL!! Weird reasoning, but there it is! In fact, I need to remake my ticker now that I am out of the 5 month range--that always seems to just drag! Cant wait to see what y'all decide for costumes!!!

I love getting down to double digits!! My tickers are really moving along!

WOO HOO! ONLY 99 DAYS LEFT! :banana::banana:

Thanks for dancing with me! :thumbsup2

Day 6- September 23rd

This will be another very early morning because we have an ADR at Crystal Palace at 8:05am! We love this breakfast so much and it's the only time we actually eat breakfast at a normal time! Walking down an empty Main Street is THE BEST!!! CP is a great breakfast buffet and who doesn't love Pooh & Friends?

After breakfast, I'm sure we'll stay at MK for awhile and do whatever we feel like doing. The plans for the rest of the day are really up in the air. We'll have been at MK the past 2 nights, so I'd like to go somewhere else. Just not sure where yet! We could even hang at DTD. We'll just go with the flow.

Sorry for the lack of pics lately. It's been busy with school and dance winding down. I'll upload Cole's birthday pics as soon as I have time. Tonight I'm running my first 5K and I'm both excited and nervous! I ran a mile Sunday night and I went way too fast. Then, I did a group run Wednesday night through a local running store. My older sister and dad ran with me and I did 2 miles in just over 20 minutes. It was so hard!!! I feel so out of shape, but I felt great on the drive home. I really don't like working out (unless it's a dance class) but it feels so good once you're done with your workout. The race tonight should be fun because my mom, dad, older sis and BIL are all running. My BIL's dad and sister will also be running. His mom is a runner, but is recovering from an injury...I'm sure she'll still be there because there is a great party afterwards! :thumbsup2 All of this running is leading up to me hopefully running the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon in February. :goodvibes

In other news.....a guy named Nik Wallenda is walking over Niagara Falls tonight on a tightrope! I dont' know if you've heard of him before, but he's been a tightrope walker since he was 2 years old and comes from a long line of tightrope walkers. So cool! It should be on national tv so check it out! He'll be walking at 10pm EST!!!

Good luck on your 5k!!! I think you are awesome for even giving it a try. I'm so not a runner so admire anyone who is! :thumbsup2

wow! I can't believe you plan to do EMH after MNSSHP! I don't mind geting up early when in WDW, but I need my sleep as well. I think I will see how you do then decide whether or not to plan a rest day after MNSSHP!

BTW... you have inspired me to start buying things for the trip! I just bought a carry on rolling back pack for each of the kids! I figure it is still a bit too early to buy clothes, but I can buy other fun things! =)

Thanks! I did pretty good for my first time out. I finished in about 40 minutes. I just started running on Sunday, so I'll cut myself some slack.

We're crazy people when it comes to WDW. We did MNSSHP on our last night back in Sept 2010 and got up bright and early for our 'Ohana ADR at 9am. But before that, we had to check our luggage and then wait around for a bus. We were up SUPER early!

I tend to make people want to spend when they read my PTR so be careful! :laughing: I haven't done a lot of shopping for the trip lately because we've been so busy. That doesn't mean I'm not looking. :goodvibes
