Yes, it does sound like a farming game but I will give it a try. I did notice quite a few of the comments left on the blog mentioned VMK. I posted one myself

There's a demo version of part of the game - it looks very similar to the other "hidden object" Facebook games. I'm not holding out any hopes that this game has any significant Disney content.

So far, it's kind of fun. But it is so similar to that other Playdom game, Social City, that they got rid of.

I fear nothing will ever come close to VMK and the magic we all experienced with that game. <insert big sigh>

So far it is a fun game, but nothing that really captures AK like I was hoping. Just teaching more things about animals, conservation and some games.

I believe it's already out now (April, 2012). I love it.
It's one of those search games and you create your own savanah. Awesome.

This is the first facebook game I've actually ever played and the only reason I actually tried it is because I'm a sucker for anything Disney. I'm really enjoying it so far...dare I say I've been obsessed with it for the last couple of hours but its getting a bit boring because I have no neighbors and would rather not spend money out of pocket. So far so good though.

My daughter and I play, we need friends to help us out. I do agree with most of you, played the games on playdom and it is very similar. I also think they could have done more with the game.

I am getting addicted to this game. But...I don't know what to do with all of the safari hats I have collected. Does anyone know?

You need the safari hats for tasks on your preserve. Hang onto them.... there will come a time when you cannot get them fast enough to complete tasks (which are needed to advance). Actually, the lack of safari hats and ability to expand quickly enough has led me to block the game. At about level 20 you get to a point where you cannot do anything other than wait for energy to refill and look for hidden objects. It got boring.

I am on level 33 and have not had to use the safari hats yet either. I have to agree with the earlier post though you just have to wait for enough energy to play the hidden games. Not much else to do. I even cleaned up my kingdom and redid it again differently.

How do you craft permits? The only time I get a permit is when I get a new level, but it sounds like other players craft them somehow.

I think you need to ask your 'neighbors' to help you get a permit.

I am wondering how to get a new habitat. All I have are the Lions. Does anyone know???

I can ask for water bottles, film & fruit when building a habitat but there is no way to ask to craft a permit.

Once you have all of your lions 'built' and you have enough points to get to a new level, you should be offered the first piece of the next habitat.
