When I was researching our trip, it was very difficult to find any information about the Concierge at the updated Disneyland Hotel. Hopefully this report will be helpful to those of you who are considering Concierge!

We had a great experience at the Disneyland Hotel. Check in was at the main desk, but we had a special Concierge folder with information about Concierge services and the E-ticket lounge waiting for us there. There was also a personalized itinerary with all of our dinner and activity reservations listed. The cast member checking us in gave each of the kids a signed character picture.

The rooms were lovely. They were comparable in size to deluxe rooms at Disney World...actually, they seemed larger. The floor to ceiling windows gave us an amazing view. We could actually watch fireworks from bed! We were always able to get right on an elevator.

The E-ticket lounge was well staffed and well stocked. We stayed on the 9th floor and the lounge was on the 11th floor, so it was convenient. The first time we came in, Glyndonna came over and explained all the food and beverage services. In the morning, there was oatmeal, cold cereal, pastries, bagels, toast, fruit, and meat and cheese as well as juice, milk, and coffee. In the afternoon, there was "Uncrustable" sandwiches, baked goods, fruit, snack mixes, tea and water. From 5-7 there were hot appetizers (one was vegetarian), cheese tray (the evening one was awesome with brie, blue cheese, gouda, and more plain cheese too), veggie tray, kettle chips or tortilla chips with salsa, water, lemonade, and tea.

They had a fridge of drinks available anytime. It was always stocked with juice boxes, Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, and tomato juice. They had bottles of water in the back, you just had to ask for them. We only took them once to the park, otherwise, the water tasted good from the tap. They also had wine and beer available all day. I saw people get chocolate milk from the back too. Pretty much, anything someone asked for, they had.

We didn't use the services of the Concierge at the desk, but we were always greeted when we walked in. They also called us with park hours, etc.

We enjoyed the entire trip! Our only regret was that it wasn't longer!

Always happy to hear about a nice experience at the DLH. We do enjoy our stays at the DLH when we get the time. We stayed on the northeast corner of the ninth floor last spring, the room was quite nice. Ahhh yes, the Disney Experience, nothing quite like it....:cool1:

Thank you for your report! My son and his wife will be there on their honeymoon July 2 so I'm going to have him read this. They will have concierge; it's so helpful to hear from someone who has recently been. Sounds great! Thanks again.

That was my one question. We stayed back in '09 and they just had the water in the fridge, no asking. I liked that. We stayed at PPH concierge in Feb and having to ask for waters just drove me mad.

really beer and wine all day ? That is new to me.......I thought it was only during cocktail hour.

We were only expecting it during cocktail hour, but right when we got there, they told us it was available all day. Sure enough, we saw others with a beer in the middle of the day and we had one in the afternoon! It's not out on the counters, the cast members would come around to your table and ask if you needed anything. It was almost like a restaurant or bar! We didn't take advantage of it too often, but it sure was nice to have a cold beer on a hot day! Especially after we paid $20 for 2 Pina Colavas at the pool!

I didn't love having to ask either! I hated to inconvenience the cast members! I think they had quite a bit of stuff in the back that you just had to ask for, and if you didn't know you could ask for it, you didn't! I'd read about the water on the boards, so I knew to ask. They weren't large bottles, just half sized Dasani bottles, but great to take to the park! We also asked for (or saw others ask for) paper plates, travel coffee cups, and chocolate milk.

Good to know about the all-day beer and wine! I had no idea.

We discovered about asking for things after a CM brought one of my dd's a big travel cup of hot chocolate covered in whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. In fact, that CM would run and make one for my girls every morning after that! They also had liqueurs in back. They didn't advertise that one. My sis and I had coffee with Baileys a couple of evenings.
