WDW Admission prices increase Sunday June 3, 2013

Bought ours a few days ago! Am I reading that right? Is the price difference (including tax) $112.40 for 2 members for annual passes? That's what I figured out for us... The 2 DVC APs I bought cost $892.48 including tax.

Anybody see how much to renew an annual pass will be? Wondering if the increase would warrant just being a new pass now and activating it when needed instead of renewing at the higher rates when it come due??

Wonder when we'll see the DVC discounts? Looks like they're going to need to sweeten the pot beyond the typical $100-125 discounts to me.

A family of four is now $2800 out of state. That's getting pretty steep. Where's that annual payment plan?!? :headache:

That sounds about right. Right now, it's a $100 discount for an AP + tax, and $125 discount for a PAP + tax.

$12 for tax actually sounds a little low to me but I don't know what the sales tax rate is at the parks.

so right now I can get a dvc annual pass for 419 on line (which is 100 off the reg price.) On Sunday the reg price will go to 574 so dvc will be 474 correct ??? I thought I saw some where someone posted that dvc will be getting 149 off reg. passes and only 100 of the upgraded passes ... Can anyone confirm because if that is true the increase is almost 0 right ??? We have some old tickets we wanted to "upgrade" when we go in July but I am not sure if we should.

does this mean I can now book my June 2013 package stay?? with dining plan??

Ooops - I guess I stated my original post incorrectly. What I meant was, we just paid (pre-increase) $892.48 for 2 adult DVC APs (which includes the $100 per pass DVC discount). The new price for a regular AP is $574 per the WDW website. So that means the new discounted price after June 3 will be $474 for DVC members. I believe FL tax is 6% so 2 passes with the DVC discounts after June 3rd looks to be $1,004.88. I think that means we saved $112.40.

Please don't hold me to that math ;) but I think it's right. I'm glad we were able to swing buying our passes early this year. I was on the fence because I assumed our savings would only be like $40 for both of us. $100 was worth the early purchase for me! I do wonder if the DVC discount will be upped a little bit... Hope so for next year!

I will be calling MS tomorrow to buy our two APs for the first time. Was going to order them on-line - do I check off Will Call or not - and have them mail me a voucher? Extra charge for voucher? Not sure so will call tomorrow.

I can't imagine them not doing it for members but on the other hand, it would be pretty presumptious of us to assume the "discount" (It's not technically a discount per Cheshire Figment but rather a negotiated price.) will be in place on Sunday. DVD hasn't said a word so far as far as I can tell.

I'd buy them tomorrow too, if it were me, and it is, and I am. ;)

I bought my passes on-line. The cost to mail was $5. Can't remember the expedited shipping cost. I was too cheap to pay the $5 shipping so I am doing Will Call. You have to bring the voucher to the guest services booth anyway so I figured I wasn't saving any time. I received a Ticket Order Confirmation which I printed out and am supposed to show that for our tickets - plus my DVC member card of course.

I just paid 801.92 for 2 DVC renewals. This includes the $5 handling charge I didn't want to do will call this time. Also wanted to add that I was having trouble with the website so I had to call.

If tfc3rid is correct - see this thread, then the price of a DVC AP is going up by $6 (plus tax). I can live with that. :goodvibes

Curious why Disney decided to eliminate child pricing for APs - that's going to sting for many families. :(

I just bought 2 aps for my grandkids and used the "will call" option (free). As soon as I was complete I got this lovely tinkerbell w/barcode confirmation sheet to print, plus one went to my email account to save (in case I misplace). Much easier than mail and no extra amount. I was a little nervous about the "will call" option, but it was great and love having a piece of paper with a barcode on it to use NEXT spring. THe kids APs increase ALOT. They are now listed as the same price as an adult, which meals the price went up $88 before tax!! wow.

I just tried to buy my DD's online from the link in dvcmember.com and it told me unavailable - did y'all crash the site!?

Let me try again, may be operator error . . .

I can't see the prices. I click the link, see the announcement, but don't see prices anywhere... how do I find them?
