An everchanging Sept PTR (update 7-15 What will we wear and Day 5 plans)

Saw you were just missing MNSSHP by two days. Sure was hoping you and the boys would get to go. You are still going to have a great time though.

Saw you were just missing MNSSHP by two days. Sure was hoping you and the boys would get to go. You are still going to have a great time though.

I noticed that today too, so talking with my Mom about maybe going a day later and staying until the 12 since it's just two days :goodvibes

Ok so we have narrowed down our choices for dining and we are pretty excited about what we have put together. And with the possibility of extending our trip two nights we may get to add in two more dining spots, which we have already selected.

Plan #1 with Sept 2-9 dates

*Ohana breakfast (paying out of pocket)- for the yummo factor and to see Stitch
*Captain Jacks lunch- because it's Jack's
*Coral Reef dinner- for an undersea dining adventure
*Sci-fi dinner- to eat in fun cars
*booked at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner, but will switch to Be Our Guest if they open in Sept- Grandma's choice
*Big River Grille dinner- Grandma's choice
*Wolfgang Puck dinner
*Teppan Edo lunch- for the fun factor

Plan #2 with Sept 3-12 dates

*Ohana breakfast (paying out of pocket)
*Teppan edo lunch
*Coral Reef dinner
*Captain Jacks lunch
*Be our Guest or Liberty Tree Tavern dinner
*Big River Grille (would change to a lunch)
*Sci Fi Dinner
*Cape May Cafe dinner buffet- because it's on our dining bucket list
*Ohana dinner (add on)- because we read so many great reviews

*Wolfgang Puck (change to lunch or might choose something else)
*also considering Garden Grove breakfast (would pay out of pocket)-because the atmosphere looks so cool

So those are our table service dining choices, we are still looking at quick service options and will probably plan for two options each day and then decide on which ones we would eat at while we are there

the only quick service I'm pretty sure we'll eat at is Flame Tree in AK because Jack loves ribs

:yay::yay: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is back in our plan

Changing our travel dates to Sept 3-12 so we can go to the party. Boys will be so excited, though they never knew it was off the table.:rolleyes1

Also decided to take Wolfgang puck off our dining list and change it to a Raglan Road reservation

And last bit of news is I think we have now decided to drive down, which makes packing easier... now time to get started on my lists, I have two going so far, but now can start adding some new ones like packing:goodvibes

Wow - Lots of changes while I was gone! MNSSHP was out, now it's back in! I'm so glad about that because I know how excited you were to go to the party! And who can complain about a longer trip!! :cool1:

Your dining choices sound great! And a big Woo Hoo for MNSSHP being back in the plans! :cheer2:

:banana:So happy you are going to be able to attend MNSSHP, you know it is one of my favorites. :cool1:

Dining choices looks great. We love Raglan Road. Sitting here thinking how we don't have it scheduled. Must resist, need money for souvenivers.

All of you are going to have such a great time!

No one here complaining about a longer trip, this will be the longest trip to WDW I've ever taken and I'm glad we can do MNSSHP now as that was the reason for planning this trip to begin with

Thanks, it's also fun with the dining since we really haven't eaten in too many places so it's basically all new to us

Thanks, before when deciding I gave Jack the option of choosing between Raglan Road and Captain Jacks, and he wanted both, so I'm glad we got some extra days so now we can do both.

And I'm very thankful the first party date was so close to our travel dates that we could fit it in since I never told the boys it was out and I think they would've been pretty mad with me. Though Jack is very excited about the Night of Joy.

I'm glad I changed my title to everchanging ptr because there have been more changes again.

My sister and niece will now be joining us on the trip again, but they probably will only be there from Thursday Sept 6- Wednesday Sept 12. They really wanted to do the Halloween party so since we added that in, they are back on board.

With them joining us now we had looked into several different options for two rooms, a joint room, etc. My Mom and I decided it would be easiest on my kids with not have to do a split stay so we booked a suite here for our full stay:

So excited to check out this new hotel and it's restaurant, which advertises healthier eating choices and smoothies which my little family LOVES.

Before making the switch I had to prepare my boys and so we got on and looked at all the photos on the WDW site and any we could find elsewhere, so where do you think two boys would like to stay...

Of course they wanted radiator Springs, so we are booked in a Cars Suite. And my little man (remember the little guy who thinks he is the boss), yeah he already claimed his bed for the week. Up next will be our revamped dining choices with adding in our extra guests and the beginning stages or our park day plans :goodvibes

How exciting to be staying at a new resort! :woohoo: The theming looks fantastic there. I would love to try it out but can't justify the price of a suite for the 3 of us. And I know Reid will not be happy with a Little Mermaid room. Can't wait to hear all of the dining & park plans!

:cool1: about staying at the new resort. Part of me wants to, but I refuse to change anything unless I absolutely have to.

This trip is going to be so much fun!

You are going to have so much fun at AoA! I hope things go smoothly with your extra guests coming along.

we are super excited, and I'm sure we could spend a whole day just walking around and exploring the theme and pool, etc. I know my boys are going to love the animator hallway with the sketches of all the characters and I suspect I will need to bring some sketch pads for them

thanks :goodvibes I understand about not wanting to change anything unless you have to

thanks, we are very excited. I'm sure things should go more smoothly as the boys will have some time to settle into their surroundings and get to explore the parks prior to our extra guests arrival :goodvibes

We are in double digits :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: 99 days from today we will be chilling at AoA

Our dining is booked again with our added guests

We have a dinner booked at Coral Reef in Epcot for me, Mom, Jack, Joey

We have a lunch booked at Captain Jacks in DTD for me, Mom, Jack, Joey

Lunch booked at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK for me, Mom, Jack, and Joey- originally this was a dinner, changed to lunch for more options for the boys

Dinner one night at Big River Grille, no reservations, this will be arrival day for my sister and niece- so like the flexibility in just showing up for dinner after they arrive

Lunch booked at Sci-Fi in DHS for all 6 of us- originally this was planned as a dinner, forget my reasoning behind the change

Ohana dinner at Poly for 6, right now we have a late reservation time, hoping to keep calling and getting a slightly earlier time

Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL for 6, ketchup please :rotfl: (p.s. I will prepare Jack a little for what could happen here, but I'm not telling the rest of my family anything)

Teppan Edo dinner in Epcot for 6, originally this was a lunch for 4, but my sister and niece love Japanese cuisine, so we switched it to a different day and time so we could all enjoy it

Raglan Road lunch for 6 ppl, this is on our MNSSHP day, Jack is excited about this one as it was on his list, I just hope he likes the food

and lastly our Ohana breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Poly, this is our departure day, hoping the kids will have seen the characters enough during the week leading up to the breakfast that they will be comfortable enough to pose for some pictures with some of their favorite characters

Now that our meal plans are set, I already printed off menus from allears, next step is to go find pictures of the restaurants and food to add to the boys planning book:goodvibes

95 days until fun with our favorite Mouse in our happy place

Sounds like y'all got some nice ADRs! :thumbsup2

And you're down to double digits for your countdown! :woohoo:

Getting all caught up! I have been MIA lately here on the boards.

So glad you still get to attend MNSSHP!!! It is my absolute favorite thing at Disney.

OOOOhhh, love that you are staying at the new studios. Can't wait to see all your pictures.

Good dining choices!!!!

Can't wait to read more.

Somewhere on the Restaurant board is a thread that has pictures of the inside of restaurants. check under the sticky

The ADR's look great. We love WCC and what we call the "Platter of Meat". Raglan Road is one of our favorites also. I have a few pics of them, LTT, and Sci-Fi if you need some.

By the way, you saw my last post here about not changing my plans, well I jinxed myself.:lmao:

ok, great, thanks for the tip, I'll have to take my next day off and search

Yeah "Platter of Meat" for me the non red meat eater :confused3, I know it has chicken on it, so planning to get it as it will be perfect for my boys. I'm excited for your new plans Melissa.:goodvibes

I switched our Raglan Road and WCC reservations, so we are having a lunch at WCC and dinner at Raglan Road in hopes of seeing some Irish dancing (which Jack LOVES) He will flip out if he gets to see it in person

On day one of our Disney adventure we will wake up eat breakfast and load our van to head to Orlando. Planning a few road games for the boys, to include a Bingo game of things they would see along the way.

I have two plans: one for arriving in time to have Lunch at AoA and explore the resort and get unpacked a little before heading to dinner at Pepper Market.
peppermarket.jpg

Plan B: drive straight to Pepper Market for dinner. Then we have a fun Mega Meet to attend here:
DisneyCoronadoconvention.jpg

We are looking forward to making some new friends and meeting some other families on a homeschool journey.

After the Mega Meet with a fun guest speaker (I'll tell you about it after our trip) then we'll head back to AoA and check in if we haven't already

Then relax in the pool and if we can calm down from the excitement we will try and get to bed at a decent hour so we can have enough energy for our first park day when we wake up.:woohoo:
