There is a place in Syosset that has tons of different favor options and they are very reasonable. It is called Wrap With Us, they have a website and a physical location, check the hours though, I think they are strange.

I know its insanely early, but Ive been in full on wedding planning mode! I sat down last night and layed out 11 days worth of meals for both DF and myself and my parents. Its hard because I had to make sure my parents arent in the same park as myself because we dont want our son to see us. As much as I am sad that we arent going to cruise on the Dream for our honeymoon, I really dont think I could have handeled being away from our son, even for 3 days! I like the idea of him being in the hotel room next to us, and when I need to see him I can just call my parents and tell them to bring him over! Ive yet to even be away from our son for a night... so this will be a good way to ease into seperating!

This is our intinerary. Everything up to the Wedding day is pretty much set. After the wedding it really all depends on park hours and if we change our minds on where we want to eat. We love to eat so we're hoping we enjoy the DxDDP!

Thats my parents, and most likely the intinerary my in-laws will be following.


This took WAY more effort and time than I had imagined.. but Im glad its done with! It was a huge headache that I wasnt expecting



This weekend I am finishing up our ribbon wands! My FMIL found rolls of the ribbon that our Michaels ran out of. I will post a finished picture once they're complete! Our buttons also came today for our out of town bags! They're so cute!!! I'll post a picture of those with my ribbon wands.

Tomorrow my mom and I are going out shopping for apothecary jars for our candy buffet. Im actually pretty excited for that. We also might start looking to see who sells inexpensive tank tops so I can start on the bridal parties shirts. I also found out that friday my sister in law to be and her mom are ordering their dresses for the wedding! Everythings coming together now!

Oh, another NY hint: if you have a Christmas Tree Shoppe near you they sell inexpensive glass wear. I have done a candy bar in the past and got all my containers there.

It's so exciting that all your plans are coming to fruition!! We're having a small wedding, no bridal party or anything so there isn't as much to organize. I'm about to burst waiting for time to pass so I can get the ball rolling faster. My parents are coming to visit for Memorial Day and mom and I will be going dress shopping for me, so I suppose that will really be the start of everything.

Just read your dining plans! Im guessing you'll be on the DxDDP?? We've never done it before, so we are both *very* excited. We love to eat, so we're perfectly okay with planning our vacation around meals. Fortunately we go to Disney every year, but this year and next year we will have gone twice a year so we want to see the yummy-er side of the world

I actually checked the Christmas Tree Shoppe with no such luck! My FMIL suggested a trip to Amish Country in PA.. apparently there's a wedding glass store that sells apothecary jars for like $2.. which is where she got a few of her big ones.

So exciting that youre going dress shopping! It is an amazing experience!!! Have so much fun!

I was thinking about using an outside florist because it seems like the Disney florist is a bit on the expensive side (although they are beautiful and very convenient) but I haven't decided for sure yet.

Im using Flowers By Kelly. She has been amazing so far! Really helped work within my budget while maintaining my vision. I have nothing but great things to say thus far!! I actually e-mailed a bunch of Orlando Florists and some never bothered to contact me with a quote after having me send over what I was looking for. If you contact her let her know Nicole recommended her!!

Still havent finished the ribbon wands. Life has gotten so busy with work and Mothers Day.. hoping to finish them up this weekend.

I decided we are definitely doing the candy buffet as our favors. We are doing to do all pink and white candies. I ordered these favor bags for guests to fill with candy.

I ordered them in white and they will have a plum sticker on the outside. The sticker will say "Life is Sweet, Take a Treat" and will have our names and date. When they come in Ill take a picture.


As I mentioned earlier, I ordered custom buttons. Here is a picture, finally!

I also ordered 6 purple tank tops and 1 white for the bridal party tank tops. They're supposed to be here Thursday. I ordered these rhinestones as well to apply to the tank tops.

I order 1 bride, 1 maid of honor, 5 bridesmaid and than 1 mother of the bride and 1 mother of the groom. Im very excited for these!



In other news, I got my engagement pictures back from Misty Miotto! I am in love with them! I will post some in my next post after I upload them all to snapfish

I ordered the design from etsy and the seller recommended a site that will take the design and put it on a button for me! I order 60 buttons and plan on putting them in the out of town bags for guests to wear around the parks or keep as a memory from our wedding! They only cost $.72 a button so how could i pass that up??

I love the bride shirt from the Disney site! I might order it as well, I'm making a collection of bridal wear. I mean how many times in my life will I get to let everyone know its all about me!!

Ah every time I look at the calendar I freak out just a bit! So in the past few weeks I have managed to..

  [*]Rent DVC points for 3 studios for the 11 days of our wedding for myself, my parents and my brother. This is saving us $5200.. Yes, you read that right $5200 on the rooms alone! The money we saved on renting DVC points will pay for my families park tickets, dining plan and STILL give them money in their pockets! Yay for DVC rentals!!
  [*]Purchased my dress for the dessert party along with matching shoes! Ill post a picture at the bottom.
  [*]I ordered all the jewelry for my bridesmaid for the day of
  [*]I also ordered the Victoria Secrets yoga pants for the girls that is part of their bridesmaid gifts
  [*]I finished all of the bridal party tank tops with the iron-ons I ordered. They came out amazing!

I would say its been a pretty successful few weeks! I have also decided that Im going to buy matching purple flip flops to the tank tops to put in my girls bridesmaid gifts along with the copco travel cups in purple. So all in all theyll have black victoria secret yoga pants, a purple bridesmaid tank top, purple flip flops, day of jewelry and a travel mug. Does that seem like enough?? I keep going back and forth.

We ordered airfare for our planning trip in August. We were originally going Friday August 17 -Sunday August 26, however the airfare to go on Friday, and even the Saturday after was insane so we are now leaving Thursday the 16th!! Cant complain about an extra day in Disney!
