i was just wondering if anyone had any funny moments that were in disney...

for me has the first time my family went on the rock'n roller costar and my moms contact lenses fell out and we found it when we got off the ride in her hair!:jester:

I was working in Fantasyland & sweeping up stuff near the Tea Cups. Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dumb were out there. One of them motioned their cupped hands to me so I reached out & they handed me a gecko. Needless to say I screamed & dropped my broom & ran. Everyone laughed at me. Years later I find it funny. Then not so much LOL

My funniest moment had to be last month. My mom got picked out of the crowd at Monsters Inc (she was wearing her bday button) and they made her do hilarious things. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard. Such a good memory!

We were at LTT...Me, DH, my sister (39), my cousin and his wife and two little boys and their grandpa (my uncle). Well while waiting for the food, my uncle was telling his grandsons the story of Snow White...at least it was HIS version. The dwarves all had wrong names (Doc, Sleepy, Sneezy, Stupid, Clumsy, but the kicker was the one he named "Hypoglycemic"). The adults at the table were just roaring with laughter at his tale, but I looked up and CHIP was standing over us with, what I can only describe as a horrified look (if a frozen mask can look horrified), shaking his head at my uncle. Then he snatched my camera from the table and took a picture of the group, but had the camer afacing the wrong way. So I have a picture of Chips face in super close up.

I have to share this story from our last trip this past June. It was my mom, my dd who had just graduated from HS and my son. Other DD and DH stayed back due to cheer camp.

Anyway, my mother takes sleeping pills each night. Very strong sleeping pills, and why you would need these to sleep after a day at Disney I have no idea. :rolleyes1

So one night as we all were getting ready for bed she comes over beside my bed and we were all talking about the day and she suddenly gets quiet. I turned to look at her and she was leaned over on my bed sound asleep, standing up.:lmao:

I tried to wake her and she moaned. I asked her if she took her pill and she moaned. The kids are rolling in laughter, and snapping pictures of her but I start freaking thinking she is going to fall over. So I get out of bed and roll her onto the bed. I had no help at all from the kids, they are laughing to hard to help. Then she is face down so I roll her over to her back and cover her up. The kids are still snapping pictures and laughing so hard! :rotfl:

Anyway, we all change beds now cause granny is in ours. It was hard for us to go to sleep because every time it would get quite, someone would bust out laughing at her again and we would all crack up. This went on for a while.

The next morning she woke up and asked how she ended up on that bed.:lmao:

Someone asked yesterday while in bus coral for mk at resort:
"Is this the park with the rides?"

Really, you didn't even bother to look at the flyers they gave you when you checked in? Sad.

When we were at the Animation Studios for some character pics, Genie snuck up and starting doing the bump with my DD14. He was on fire, really funny! She was so embarrassed, there was a huge crowd!! Two days later she had to be a cactus in Woody's Hodown in Frontierland! Great Memories! :)

ok i have another one we had gotten fast passes for splash mountain and we went threw the fast line, as we were walking my sister and i were waving to all the people who were probable going to wait for another hour.we wee so far ahead of my parents we decided to wait, i started to listen to the other people in line, one little girl asked her mom why we got to go first and she replied we must be princesses! :rotfl: i think she was serious! Another woman asked her friend why we were going first and she said because we were staying at a "special" hotel. Later that evening we went back to the hotel and saw the same two girls there:rotfl2: the look on there faces was so funny!:lmao: I just wonder if they figured out fast passes after that!

This is the kind of thread I love - fun stories about my favorite place!

This happened many years ago - when Toy Story first came out. We were waiting for a parade and the green army men came marching up. They started pulling people (1 adult-1 child) from the crowd. Then we were given water balloons and had to toss them back and forth until only one couple was left. We were all laughing because the balloons were not really full so sometimes they hit the ground and bounced and sometimes they smashed and got you all wet.....my DD and I ended up being the last ones and for a prize we were awarded.....a bucket of green army men!

DD is now 30 with a son of her own. We still laugh about it every time we are waiting for a parade. Little things make such lasting memories!

My mom and teenage niece got stuck in the Astro orbiter... My niece is 6'11" and 230. Mom is 5'9 and 180...we died laughing as a CM had to assist them out of their rocket ship...he was in tears too. Good thing they were laughing about the situation as well! :rotfl2: it's a great memory that my DD and I will never forget. We held up the ride! :lmao:

My DH will also add that if he were a comedian, he would go to WDW to get material...he says the bathrooms/drinking fountains are a wealth of comedy. He tells of a story of one dad talking to his son at the urinal, saying "stop touching it" lol. He also witnessed a dad with about 8 kids at the water fountain...the dad was monitoring how much time each thirsty sibling got to get a drink...you all know where that went!

Gosh there have been so many. One of the things sticking out in my head was from DD5's bday last summer. I had purchased a pair of personalized princess mouse ears for her (and the Minnie ones for her sis), but it wasn't long before both girls grew frustrated with them (really too big for them)...so rather than stuff them into a bag...DH and I decided to wear them. I guess I took the Minnie ears first so DH wound up with the princess ones (i.e. the pink ones with the tiara and veil).

Within minutes of putting them on, DH started getting all kinds giggles. He got a few compliments from other guests as well as a few CMs - i.e. "love the look," but the best came from some of the characters. I remember seeing Chip and Dale pointing and belly laughing as we passed by. Goofy and Donald also saw us at one point, pointed out his fine head gear and just shook their heads. Of course this was also the day I forgot my video camera and drained my DSLR's battery...so I've got no pictures. OH well, at least DH can say he was princess for a day.

It is early in the morning and I am walking through the concourse at the Contemporary on my way from BLT to fill the mugs. Note no coffee yet. I am enthralled with the Mary Blair mural and looking way up high as I am walking and I walk into one of those big funky shapped seats. I tumbled over the entire width of the thing and picked myself up. Couple of rug burns but that was it. Not sure anyone else saw it but Had I been an observer it would have been hard not to laugh. (Only becuae no one was hurt)

Several things we have had a good laugh with. But one of my favorite was when we had breakfast last year at the Crystal Palace. I was wearing my "psycho girlfriend magnet" T-shirt. Pooh came around an took at double take of my shirt when I was getting pics with him an he pointed at my shirt an gave me thumbs up an high five! I thought it great.

One of my favorites.
We are on the Friendship, going from Epcot to the Studio. There is a man and woman sitting in front of us.

The man, pointing to the Boardwalk, which hotel is that?
The woman, that is the Boardwalk.
The man, sure like to stay there sometime.
The woman, the only way you can stay there is if you work for Disney. That hotel is where Disney has the employees live.

Pinocchio trying to climb into my DD3's stroller.
Smee stealing things from my DH's backpack.
My daughter stepping on Hercules' sandaled foot - best picture ever.
Cruella arrogantly telling my DD's that she is far more popular than Milo (from Atlantis) stating that no one even knows his name and my DD's being so darn pleased because they knew his name.
DD6 loving BTMR until she lost her favorite headband on it. Refused to go one after and, now 16, still gets upset when she sees picture of her with the headband.

:rotfl2: Isn't is fun to listen to other people authoritatively say something that you KNOW is wrong???

Just thought of something that was sooooo funny that we saw last September.....

We were waiting for the rest of our family at the stroller park area outside of Muppets at HS. There was a squirrel jumping from stroller to stroller, digging into backpacks, bags, pockets, anyplace he could get into looking for treats. We watched him for about 15 minutes. He ate grapes, cookies, part of a sandwich, more that we couldn't tell what it was. We wondered how many kids would be eating off the leftovers during the rest of the day.....

The OP's story reminded me of one of our own. On an extremely hot day at AK in June:faint, our first ride of the day was EE. My dad had his new Wake Forest hat on to protect his bald head from the sun. Of course it blew off during the ride. He spent the rest of the day walking around AK with a wash cloth on his head. He looked ridiculous. Now, everytime time we have gone since (without him) he says to look closely at that Yeti b/c I know he's going to be wearing my hat!

This afternoon on Splash Mountain, a couple behind us had their young daughter between them. Before the ride starts she is screaming and won't sit down. Finally they get her seated and we start moving. She screams and cries the entire ride without stopping, and I really mean the entire ride. As we are heading in toward the exit area, she was still crying and then her cries turned to "I want to do it again!" :)
