worst food you ever had @ WDW?

Wow- this is tough. While I absolutely hated Marrakesh (had a chicken dish with sweet seasonings and raisins) and our fish at Coral Reef could have passed for bait- it's not fair for me to consider either one of those at this point as it's been soooooooo long since those meals.

My cold crusted over entree and dried out cheese appy at CRT dinner last summer were horrible, Chef Mickey's dinner buffet was vile in most regards (however, there were some mashed potatoes that were pretty decent), and the food at 'Ohana beakfast was pretty bad- hard waffles and partly raw sausage; however, it is TUSKER HOUSE BREAKFAST that takes the cake for us. It was so gross that even my kids wouldn't eat...and they are not particularly picky.

Seriously- there wasn't a single thing we tried that was OK. THe scrambled eggs were slimy, the frittatas were rubbery, the corned beef hashwas dried out to sawdust, the ham was mainly fat, the pastries and biscuits were rock hard, the bobtie quiche was never replenished- but we tried to brave the one sad piece left there and it was also rubbery and lacked any kind of flavor (I think the slime eggs had more flavor), and other items were just left empty or barely there the whole meal. It shouldn't be this dried out, picked over and gross at 8:10am.

Got the kids pizza there in 2007 & DS8 (at the time) was complaining. I thought he was being picky, but when I took a bite, it was gross. I didn't think it was possible to make gross cheese pizza!

My DD got a jumbo M&M cup at Goofy's Candy Co. She didn't like it so I decided to try a bite. It was like a giant brick. I am lucky I didn't break a tooth on it!

1900 PF dinner was not good. Either was Tony's. Its definitely like chef boyardee. blah!

:) (because I can smile about it now) Mine was the fish and chips at Rose & Crown--so glad we won that war... DH still jokingly asks me if I want fish & chips EACH AND EVERY time we walk by. However, the little boy from England sitting next to us loved it and moose licked his plate. His Mum said it was the first meal he had eaten more than 2 bites of in 2 weeks since being in the USA. If I ever have to eat there again--I'll just bring my own Ms. Paul's and borrow the microwave. Other than the food it was very pleasant.

DH would say it was all the diffrent spices that came with the Naan bread at Sanaa--just way too much taste for us.

1900 Park Fare, particularly the coq au vin (which is probably too ambitious for a buffet to begin with).

I tend to avoid most burgers and pizza at WDW.

Tangerine Cafe-Morrocco - Falael wrap, dry and tasteless, chicken nuggets were cold

Flame Tree BBQ- Turkey sandwich with hard roll and cold hot dog with hard roll-YUCK!

Crystal Palace dinner in November 2010. Gross. We all left hungry. Even the kids items were bad. We're not at all picky, but the flavors of everything was way off, just some strange combinations that did not go well together at all.

That was the first time in my life that I've been completely disgusted by any food. If it wasn't for the characters, which our son was really into Pooh at the time, we would have walked out and refused to pay.

I've been all over this country, and a handful of other countries. I've eaten at hole in the wall places and restaurants that cost hundreds per person. But that was the worse meal of my life and the only time I've ever not completely disliked a meal. We all agreed that it was really bad, and we tried so hard to find something that was at least decent...but nope.

Our meals at San Angel Inn were so bland and not good at all. we went back to give it a try two more times thinking it would get better or we were there on bad days but no. Same ole bland food. We wont go back.

I was on a sugar high last time so I was going to be a good girl and get a sugar free cheese cake at Coral Reef. Big mistake because it was gross! No flavor at all.

I totally agree with the food at San Angel Inn. Bland. Blah. Never going back. It was really the only meal we have eaten at DW where the whole family was unhappy.

Mama Melrose. It was years ago and I don't remember what I ordered. A pasta dish. Anyway, it was horrible. How could you make a pasta dish inedible? I have never set foot in that place again.

Another place is Kona Cafe. The Asian noodle entree had a sauce straight from a grocery store frozen food box. Not a sauce created by the kitchen staff. Awful. I've been back there since, but stayed away from the Asian selections.

Cosmic Ray's Ribs plate. The ribs had about 1/4 inch thick fat all across the slab, that had to be scraped away to get to the meat. I set the fat scrapings on a corner of my plate and had to look at it while eating my meal. Beyond gross. This was complete incompetence. Never again!

Launching Pad Cream Cheese Pretzel. All I can say is the young kids working there aren't taught that you can't sell the pretzels after they've been hanging there too long. Mine was heat lamped to death. One bite, and into the trash.

Meatball sub at Pinocchio Village Haus, actually most food there is gross.

Skillet at WCC. So greasy, even the mashed potatoes were swimming in grease. DD and I were both sick the next day, which made the drive home very uncomfortable.

Dinner at Chef Mickeys. Everything is a potato or mushy casserole thing. Lower quality than a Cici's pizza. I guess they think that assorted mush is what kids want to eat.

Roasted vegetable sandwich at a couple of CS places. Silly me tried it twice. Soggy, tasteless and a mushy texture that almost made me gag.

Several years ago, we ate at Mama Melrose. No one can remember what we got or why it was so bad but every time we plan ANYTHING with a restaurant involved, my entire family says "As long as it is better thatn Mama Melrose!!!"

My family says the same thing about Coral Reef! Our meal there was terrible and we joke about it whenever we're by the Sea in Epcot! :lmao:

bad experiences. Tony's was horrible! San Angel Inn got the three strikes years ago and we have not been back since. Rose and Crown has one strike due to there being more batter than fish last time we ate there. Some places have gotten better and some worse. We've never had a bad experience at Chefs de France, Biergarten, Nine Dragons, Le Cellier etc. CRT was a big dissappointment out last venture there...we will not go back....it's not worth the money!

The Barbecue Eggs Benedict at WCC. I realize that benedict may be a bit ambitious for WCC, but it was just terrible. Eggs and muffin were hot, ham and hollandaise were cold. It only added to the problem that horse races started and one table asked for ketchup as soon as my food was delivered, so no one was available to take my plate back to the kitchen.

A pork chop at Wolfgang Puck in DTD. Even though it was very thick, it was so overcooked that it was hard as a rock. And they put a sauce on it that was pure salt; it made me gag. :(

Pizza at Pizza Planet-horrible! Burgers at Pecos Bill-cold, dry and the famous 'fixins bar had been picked through by grubby little hands.
