How much is your 2012 Disney Vacation costing this year?

2 adults, 3 children at AoA for 5 nights in August, WPPHM tickets, DDxP. $4772. Airfare for 5: $1200.

Grand total $5972.

Of course we are going the week for no free dining, and no discounts for AoA. If a miracle happens and we get another discount, we'll get more souvenir money. I've already paid in full.

Okay - I will make everyone feel better. Just for airfare it's costing us $3,000 per person so thats $6,000 for two of us just to get there! :rolleyes1
Part and parcel of living down under!

10/14-10/21
AoA
7 day Park hopers
Deluxe Dinning
MNSSH
Photopass
$3100
Airfare
$750

Total $3850

Glad to know I'm not the only one that went a little overboard this year. ;) We're taking my in-laws for their First Time, so I decided to do 2BDR Villas for the 6 of us. I just updated today for a split stay between BWV (our favorite for its location) and AKV - Kidani. For a while I thought I would save money because there weren't any 2 BDRs available at Kidani with Savannah View. But when I called today to change the reservations, there it was. Couldn't resist.

That wouldn't be so bad except the trip is 12 nights. And APs for everyone, though my in-laws can get the Florida Resident rate. So that's over $14K before we even book the airfare. And with the 2BDRs I'm not likely to get any applicable discounts. Although I will have TIW for food discounts.

So there it is. It's going to be pricey. But my in-laws are already getting excited and introducing them to the magic that is Disney will be worth it. :goodvibes

Wow some of you got some great deals!
My DH goes on an annual fishing trip in June, and we usually don't do anything, but this year we decided to go to WDW!
But it's very pricey.
We are going for SWW also.
Arriving June 8th to June 12th, 4 nights, 5days, pool view at AKL.
No DDP.
Airfare $580
wDW 1,900
Total: $2,480
Pretty pricey for the short stay, and just two people.

Let's see:

2 rooms @ ASSpo May 31st - June 9th with Free QS Dining upgraded to DDP and 9 day tickets (no add-ons) ----- $5,200

We are driving from Houston, gas should be around $350

So $5,550 before you talk about spending money.

September 9-15
Pop Century Resort
Accessible preferred room
3 Adults
Free Quick-Service Dining
6-Day non-park hopping tickets
$1641.18

Plus about $150 for gas and $165 for boarding two dogs.

Total $1956, not counting money for souvenirs and extra snacks.

Of that, $500 is covered by a bonus from work and $725 of yard sale proceeds. So out of pocket is just $730 plus fun money. Not bad for a weeklong vacay!

6 days, 5 nights POR royal room plus free dining with hopper. September value season.

Almost $2400 for the package For 3 AD and 1 child.
Airfare: $1200 total.
Grand total for 4: 3600. :)

I just booked a second room for my SIL and two kids. Royal room plus dining and hopper. No free dining. $2533. :scared1: September value season. (I'm hoping I can get them a better deal later on in the summer.)

Airfare: $1056. :scared1:
Grand total for 3: $3589 wow...even with the promotion of 20% off rack rate.

So for two rooms in sepr at POR RR... $7189 or averages a little over a grand a person with air.

Last year I went with my Sis. We paid $1690 for ASMo free dining plus hopper.
Air was about the same.

6 nights at AoA
5 day park hoppers
Free QS dining upgraded to Dining
$2234 I think

4 ppl (2 kids)

Gas may be $250 or so (who knows what prices will be, currently we are at $3.40)

So that's about $2500. Adding in BBB and pirate league plus meals traveling, and clearance souvenirs I am stocking and ones we will buy I bet it will be $3k minimum.

Our first trip so I can't say if it's expensive!

IMHO...you did great! :thumbsup2

We'll be at Pop from 9/23- 9/29.
We got Quick service dining and base tickets for 2 adults, 2 kids.
200pt. arcade card and $50 Disney gift card.
$1750.
Plus about $300 in gas from NC and $300-$400 for incidentals...
Pretty good for us, considering that last time we went we went the week before Christmas, stayed at Grand Floridian, ate a ton of character meals and who knows what all that cost (It was the grandparents' Christmas gift to us).
Kristina :)

Caribbean Beach 4/18-4/24 2012
Preferred Room (3 Adults, I think my kids are counted as adults now)
Free QS dining upgraded to Regular
6 day base tickets
round trip airfare from Buffalo for 3
trip insurance

Total = $3676 ($1080 was airfare)

Spent another $990 on souveniers, food, photopass, etc... once we were there

About $4,000.00.

Of course we don't pay for the room since we are DVC (well we pay but you know what I mean. lol)

The airfare was about $770.00.

Then the rest is for Park hoppers, DDP and spending money.

4 Nights in September, Polynesian Garden View, Park Hoppers, Deluxe Dining Plan - $2888.38
Round Trip Air from Philadelphia - $490.78
Parking at the Philadelphia Airport - $100.00
Towncar from Orlando Airport to Polynesian and back - $110.00

$3489.16

Then we probably have to figure in about another $1000 for misc. expenses like the bridge toll to Philly, souvenirs, adult beverages, various gratuities, and breakfast at the Philly airport (we're leaving home at 4:00 AM). It all adds up pretty quickly, but it's worth every penny!

Don't have anything to compare mine with because its our first trip...later today!

Two rooms at Pop Century, May 21-29, 8 nights, 9 days
Basic DDP
MYW with Water Park Fun Tickets for 8 days
4 adults, 2 kids
$4900

We stayed offsite and ours still cost £4000! (Eeek, over $6000!) That includes accommodation, spends, car rental, tickets, 1 night at Royal Pacific resort in Universal, flights (which are £1500 on their own..Virgin are so expensive) and other incidentals such as a breakfast at Crystal Palace. This is for 3 adults and we went for 10 days in Feb 2012.

i think i will spend about $5000

thats flight ams dub mco
pop one night
4 night disney dream
pop 9 nights
park hopper
free dinning upgraded too deluxe (this mostly because im affraid i cant walk all day due to foot surgery)
and the rest will be souviners
i have a 3 old nephew and a niece or nephew that is due spetember 14th

Didn't go last year, but going this year :cool1:

Me and my DD (13)
5 Nights BWI Thanksgiving week w/
AAA Discount
$2021

6 Day PH $613 (Undercover Tourist)

RT Air $800

Total $3434

But - I opened a new CC that gave me a $100 back if I spent $500 in the first 3 months, I just used it to buy the PH tickets and then I will pay off and close the account - so, shave $100 off that!

2 ad 2 ch 2&9
14 nights
Beach club standard
Free dining
14 day hopper ticket
Flights from the UK
Car hire
£7000 = $10800. Ouch

Not including spending money which will be about £2000 = $3100.

So lets round it up to aprox $14000 Double ouch!

Hmmmm, best not show this to DH!!:scared1:

We are 7 adults (immediate family plus DD BFF), 6 nights at Kidani Village standard 2 bedroom, 5 Mil Salute tickets, 2 4 day hoppers through UT, 2 OOP TS meals, 2 OOP CS meals, grazing at EPCOT F&WF = @$3800. This isn't counting pet sitting, shopping, mini golf, Jiko wine and cheese tasting, and groceries for meals in the villa...DH has added in another $1500 for incidentals:faint:

But, it's worth every penny to have my family all together for DDs HS graduation trip!!!

Ok so hang in there as you read as this is a split stay 3 times over (shopping for best deals)
August 8 - 12th 4 adults /1 child BC waterview room with dining
August 12 - 16th POR 3 Adults Royal room with dining
August 16th - 19th Pop 3 Adults
Driving to VA then taking auto train to samford 3 Adults and small car
Leaving 2 people and car in Florida as DD and Neice start Disney College Program
Only 1 person flying home Jetblue

Total with gas from NY to VA and extra food, with Resorts, gas, Autotrain and 1 plane ticket $4500.
However this not include tickets as we have AP
Not to bad considering 12 days total.
