Planning another trip to the USA. We went to WDW 2 years ago. This time mainly going to see NewYork and washington DC

WE plan Sun 28/4/13 arrive Disneyland about 1400hrs stay at Paradise Pier 2 nights.

SO half day Sun Full day Mon and until 1700hrs tuesday (late flight to NYC) to see Disneyland. Thats 2.5 days... should be enough to see both parks, I am assuming low crowds at end of April as easter is early that year.

Does that sound enough to you ?

Then staying 6 nights new York 5 nights at DC 4 nights at vegas then another 2 days at LAX to see Universal. Total 3 weeks. For you travel experts out there any advice would be greatly received.

I'd suggest doing Universal on the way. Drop a night from Vegas. Spend 3 days at the end at DLR.

What an amazing vacation you have planned. Enjoy!

To answer your question, though, I do not think you are giving yourself enough time to really enjoy DLR.

It's not 2.5 as you say, but really only 2 day. 1/2 day Sunday. Monday. 1/2 day Tuesday.

Also, I don't know what time your flight is on Tuesday night, or what airport you are flying out of, but if you are going to LAX, you will want to allow ample time.

In any case, there is a lot to see at DLR and if it were my first time, I would certainly want more days. There is so much to enjoy, see, and take in. It is not the same as WDW (though there are similarities with the Magic Kingdom) it is a wonderful resort with two Parks and so much to do and see.

And this is without knowing what your group is comprised of in terms of adults and children, if naps are needed, if the pace is fast or slow, etc....

I would try to rework your plans and give yourself 4 days. You probably don't need 2 days to see Universal, unless you are planning on seeing other things in the area on those 2 days. Or maybe you could take one day from Vegas. Just my thoughts....

Hope this helps,
Dreams
