DCL & Other Disney Ringtones I created

Would it be possible to get these in mp3 for my Android?

Wishes End (35 sec)
Monorail Song (30 sec)
Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life for Me (Instrumental) (12 sec)
Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life for Me (17 sec)
Haunted Mansion Organ (26 sec)
Grim Grinning Ghosts (36 sec)
Main St Electrical (24 sec)

No hurry. I'd just love to make all my ringtones Disney. :-)

Thanks!

If you don't have Ringdroid on your phone... then ??????? You should. Go get it, I'll wait.

Great you have it now!

1. download the mp3(or all) you want from the list above from your phone. You may have to do it 2x times because the site may say it failed to download.

2. Run ringdroid. Find the file, for example DCL1.mp3
load it by touching the file.

3. Now that it is loaded, hit the save icon,[it looks like a small card for you camera.] It will ask you if you want to save it as a ringtone or notification, etc.

4. Save what you want. Repeat the process if you want the other (ringtone or notification). You won't lose the original. Ringdroid is a awesome program for doing your own ringtones/notifications..

O you want the iphone versions...

This one is a little more complicated but not too bad.

(you need your computer for this one)
Download the iphone versions you want:
go to this site

http://media.io/?0.05623390388702865

This site will convert the files from iphone to mp3, wav, wma... fyi as of now wma is not supported in ringdroid.

Upload the iphone version of the ringtone you want to the site. Select the quality and conversion you want. Wait a few seconds, download the mp3 file you need.

Hope this helps.:thumbsup2

Thanks Star Wars Guy!
in iTunes, if you add the Mac versions to the library, you can save them as MP3 versions in iTunes.

for most Android users, if you connect your phone to your PC, and make the phone as a disk drive (you get asked when you plug it in on the phone's display, if not go to your settings under USB Storage, or similar).

then you can browse your phone (or usually, the SD card) file structure. My Droid I had to create a folder called "ringtones" and i put the files there. Then the songs are available, after you unplug, in your list of ringtones.

I have my kids' voices when the wife calls and from the home phone. I also have custom songs.

If you want to edit, you can always download Audacity, which is free, and can convert various formats.

I'm using an app called Ringbuilder which lets you pick sections out of songs. It was free when I got it (not sure if it still is or not.)

Others I've actually had to create seperate MP3 files and edit them. For instance, the raw sound of the DCL announcement chime had a bunch of white noise in it, but I was able to remove that, and then create the ringtone.
Again, you can use other programs like Audacity or Soundbooth from Adobe

How would you do it on just a regular phone? I don't have an iphone or internet on my phone. I just have an env touch.
Get BitPim from online. You can search for it and read the instructions. Then via BitPim, you transfer your pictures (for wallpapers and such) and new ringtones.

i used it on my older LG Venus.

Awesome! I think I may use it as my alarm on my ipod! What a wonderful way to wake up, thinking of cruising!!
Thanks for posting!

Thank you!!! You made me a hero in our family. The kids love the Star Tours theme and my DW loves the DCL announcement chime. We all enjoy the horns.

I'll be watching this thread for any updates. Thanks again so much for taking the time to do this.

Thank you:)

Did this work for you? I have an old LG Vu. It does have some slow internet access but not email. Dh was able to get the DCL horn as a ringtone a couple years ago but I'd love to make the announcement chime my text tone.
I'm bummed out but with 5 phones & unlimited texting our bill is already outrageous. If we start adding data plans, we'll never get to cruise. :sad1:
