You are definitely not alone in taking a lot of pictures!! Even though I have been to WDW so many times, I still take a ton of pictures every trip. Last trip I took a minimum of 100 pictures a day. The trip before I probably took 300-400 a day lol

My DW had her brand new camera and this was our first trip as a family. She took 600+ the first day at MK! :scared1:

She slowed down a lot of the next 6 days.

Great thread! I guess I just thought I was one to take lots of pics. I take around 300 for the week.

I take about 900 pics a trip and we have only stayed for five days on our last few trips. This next one will be 8 days and our first delux stay! That'll mean at least two memory cards!!!:upsidedow

too many to even count + whenever there is a photopass person around!!!

wow 900 photo :thumbsup2

This past trip I took 2,938 pictures. I went through 2 memory cards and luckily I had a third. One thing I learned, it is always best to bring extra batteries.

I manned the camera our first trip and took about 900 + about 120-130 photopass pics in 6 days. My husband thought I went a little overboard, so he took care of it this past time. He took 1300 and we only went for 5 days this trip! Add in the 200 or so photopass pics and we averaged 500 pics a day!

During our last trip we were there about 9 days. I came home with over 5,000 shots.

Now....I'm a big believer in shooting in "burst" mode. I rarely take just "one" picture of everything, I want back ups, and then I want back ups for the back ups. Nothing worse than having that once in a lifetime shot ruined because someone closed their eyes, or was looking away from the camera, or the picture was blurry, etc.. I maximize my opportunity to capture the shot I want by utilizing burst mode.

Last year I had just over 600 photos - we had an evening at our resort, 3 days at the parks and morning at downtown Disney. If we wouldn't have been rained out our one evening at Magic Kingdom I'm sure I would have had many many more!

I have never heard of that, I will definitely look into it, thank you! :thumbsup2

We ended up buying a 16gb memory card before we left which was definitely helpful. But let's say using the old camera I had, I would not have been able to take nearly as many pictures because the memory cards were slowing down the camera loading speed and memory writing process.

I never thought about burst mode! I had used it for rides and what not but never just regular pics..... I may try this! Thanks!:)

I took about 300 pics a day. I had 2 cameras. My big one for the parks and then used my llittle one for meals. It worked out great!

I'm 20 years old and have my own camera. I take anywhere from 400-500 pictures. I'm the type who likes to take pictures of odd ball stuff such as food and other weird things.

We've been going twice a year since 2003 and we rarely take under 2,000 photos each trip. I should add that we also venture off property to Universal, the beaches, etc. I think the most we've taken was close to 3,000 pictures.

Last trip I came back with 5000+ photos backed up. I took more than that, but deleted the obvious blips or duplicates. I shudder to think what would happen if I took pictures on burst mode :rotfl:

I always take plenty memory cards and back up the day's pictures to the hard drive and an external drive on my laptop when we get back to our room. I take a lot of memory cards because I tend not to clear the card until we get home and just keep replacing it with a new one throughout the trip.

Oh and we do Photopass too and usually get around 400 pics before editing on there. I love photos :woohoo:
