How Many Countries Can You Visit in Two Weeks?! - DLRP and more! TR LINK!!!! Pg. 20!!

Wow, the castle is pretty cool looking. So different from Cinderella Castle.

OMGosh, a Crush's Coaster?! That sounds awesome! I love Finding Nemo. I had no idea they had a ride like that. They need to bring some of the international rides to Disney World.

Oh I'm so in love with DLP! Their iasw has newer shinier dolls. :lmao:
I remember staring at that castle forever and thinking how absolutely stunning it was. The grounds around it too. And discovering the dragon was my favourite. :thumbsup2
Sometimes I think that little trips where you get not much done just makes you want to go back more -- and now you've got the chance! I bet this time will be amazing.

We didn't go on IASW, but I want to see the newer shinier dolls! :hyper:

I am in love with that castle for sure. The dragon is just the icing on the cake.

Well you're definitely going to have to put DLRP on your list of someday visits then, because it's the best coaster ever! I loved it.

Wow, the Castle at DLRP does look... well... fantastical! Definitely the most unique of what I've seen of all the Castles though not my favorite... still a slight bias towards my Cinderella Castle :goodvibes But that's so cool there is a dragon underneath! I love that! And seeing some videos of Crush's Coaster it does look like tons of fun. If I ever end up stopping by DLRP once this millenia SOOO going on that. ::yes:: The Disneyland Hotel is gorgeous too, reminds me of the Grand Floridian, pwetty! :D So glad to hear you are planning to stay around the parks much longer than you did before, good choice :thumbsup2

I really wanted to stay at the Disneyland Hotel also. It is very Grand Floridian like in it's decor, but the points from DVC were too many. Like, we got two nights at hotel New York (which is considered their second most "expensive" hotel) for the cost of one night at the Disneyland Hotel.

I love the castle at DLP, it is so beautiful! I really hope that I get to visit someday. :cloud9:

I hope you get to visit one day too. :cloud9: It's my dream to be able to at least knock Tokyo Disney off of my list. I'm not quite as concerned about Hong Kong.

Your picture of your view from your last trip is so pretty. I know you must be very excited to be seeing and doing more this trip, minus the jet lag.

Haha, I know there will still be jet lag, but the good thing this time is the fact that the whole DLRP experience won't take place on the jet lag day.

Oh yes, Tokyo Disney is the one international Disney park that I MUST visit! Only problem is finding somebody who will travel to Japan with me. :(The new Disney they are building in China looks like it will be beautiful as well. :thumbsup2

Tokyo is one of my must visit places in the world. I have been trying to get there for quite some time. I have a plan in place for myself though. 2014 for sure. 2013 is pretty full at the moment, but perhaps 2014 will be the year for me. You can always come along. ;)

 I wish! 2014 is the year I finish nursing school and have to grow up and get a real job. :(

I can't wait to get back to Disneyland Paris either. I felt the same way Danielle did. We went through it so fast that it didn't seem real to me. Very excited that we will have a few days now.:love::love:

Only thing I would have loved was to have my cousin and her husband with us but unfortunately they can't make the trip with us. We will however have plenty of time with them in Belgium for sure :dance3:

Really behind! As usual! :headache:

Your travel plans do sound exhausting but how awesome to save so much! I am all about the saving and can deal with the other!

I love that castle! I forgot about the dragon under the castle. I read about it in another TR a few years ago and thought that was the coolest!!

Enjoyed your previous trip reports, and when I saw you are an afficionado of Flemish Frites (note the capitalization) I had no choice but to subscribe...

That's okay!

I agree, saving money trumps being a little bit tired and having a long travel day. I would take that over anything.

I love that the dragon is beneath the castle too. The very first time I heard about that, I was like "why don't they do that at all the castles?!"

Thanks, I'm glad you're here.

Yup, Frites can do that to a person. *sigh* I'm on a restricted diet, so I can't wait until I can eat authentic. :goodvibes

I still cannot figure out why they are called French Fries in the United States.

Danielle will no doubt have more direct knowledge here, but any Flemish Frites I have had were nothing like French Fries. The Flemish Frites were thicker and fresh fried and taste like fried potatoes (and that's ignoring the toppings differences). Flemish Frites are more like chips in Ireland, whereas French Fries tend to be thin and (if good) crisp - the inspiration for the kind you find in fast food joints the world over.

Being Irish, fried potatoes of any kind would need to be bad to be refused - but if I had a gun to my head and forced to declare the world's number one chip/frite it would have to be Flemish Frites as consumed in Bruges and Amsterdam.

And if they happened to ask my favourite Disney park - I'd have no hesitation in saying Tokyo Disneysea.

They're Freedom Fries, remember?! :lmao:

:lmao: I should have mentioned that DVCWDWMEMBER is my mom. I think she has a bit more direct knowledge than I do. ;)
