Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

If I see it in my points history, then it should be credited correct?

Same thing happened ti me last night on 2 of the 10 o'clock shows. I watched them for almost 30 minutes and a box popped up saying I earned the points but whe I looked into the history the bonus points weren't there. The first email to Viggle told me to log out, etc..which I knew wasn't the mistake so I emailed them back and they told me they had a bonus point problem and they can't be fixed. That is so wrong because now we have proof how long we watched the show...they really show credit manually. That isn't good customer service..will I still giggle..yes...but still not fair..lol:rolleyes1
 
Ughhh....so disappointed. Apparently my viggle acct. has been terminated. I am not sure why other than they state I did not comply with terms and conditions. I had an account on my iphone and my husband has an account on an ipad. Everything was fine until I went to check into his account on my iphone. I simply was trying to redeem the rewards on his account. I checked into his account on my phone since my son was playing with the ipad. After that, my account was closed. They are not being very forthcoming on specific details as to why the account was closed. I honestly thought I was compliant with terms. Be careful if you have multiple accounts per home.

For anyone who has had an account closed, are the gift cards now invalid?

That really sucks!! I hope someone will tell you what you did? Please keep us posted.

Sorry to hear about that! I personally have not had my account closed, but I know many who have. So here's some thoughts on that:

I have heard that Viggle does not give details about why they terminate accounts, so you'll pretty much be left in the dark. Every person who has posted about their account terminating has said that it happens right as they are trying to redeem for a reward. So even if your husband tried to log in on his iPad to redeem a reward, the account would still have been terminated.

I know several couples who log onto their accounts with their spouses iPhone or iPad, and they have not be terminated. Could be some other reason why it happened to you.

If you have e-mail conformations regarding any rewards you redeemed before the termination, then you should still be able to use them. But if you don't receive e-mails, and the only way you can access your rewards is thru your Viggle account, then yea, you've lost them. :headache:

ETA: In Viggle's FAQs is states: You can use your Viggle account on up to 5 different devices. So it was ok that your husband logged in on your iPhone.

We only have one iPhone(my DH) so I was wondering if anyone has tried any show from last night again today? DH is at work so I wont be able to try til later.

Yes, I have been able to check into all the shows from last night and got bonus points for all. Just finished! :cool1:

Just a side note. I got a call from our local news station wanting me to do a interview on Viggle. I can't do it, but if I was going to do it, I would not lie and have to tell everyone that Viggle's customer service really stinks!!!

Even with the "points history log" this still doesn't guarantee that we'll get the points we deserve. I went back and forth last week with a Viggle customer rep. My check in history showed I had checked into a Featured Show, (the night it aired), for over 20 minutes. The regular check in points I got, but not the bonus points. Well, Viggle never gave me those Bonus Points, and they were completely useless...."click on your icon pic"....."do a hard reset"...."uninstall and reinstall the app." Did ALL of this before I even contacted them! Auugggh.....:mad: I have never in my life come across a company whose customer service is totally useless! :scared:

That's way I didn't bother contacting them today, for bonus points I did not get last night. :rolleyes: Just spent the afternoon rechecking into everything...

Ditto that!!! I didn't bother emailing them either. But checking into the DVR'd ones worked for me as well today. :)

I'm not getting points the past 5 days or so for any Suits ads I've watched...any one else having this problem? It's just Suits... Of course their response on Saturday when I contacted them was we'll let the techs know. Thanks! I knew I wasn't getting the points, and i didn't ask for them. I'd really just like it fixed! But here we are, several days later & I'm still having the same issue...but I keep watching it, just in case I get points, or just in case there's a better ad underneath. :headache: Can't help myself!

BEWARE Best Buy e-gift cards!! I cashed out for two $25 BB e-gift cards back on April 26th. I used them on bestbuy.com on April 27th. On April 28th my order was canceled. BB customer service didn't know why. They are still "investigating". Foolishly yesterday I cashed out for one $25 BB e-gift card. I printed it from my computer and took it to my local Best Buy. It is worthless.

Got a manager to try to help but the bottom line is I came home empty handed. I emailed Viggle. Am waiting for a response. I am not a happy camper right now. :sad2:
 
I sent an email about the missing points and about the fact that ever since downloading the updated version it is harder to check in. Sometimes it does not recognize the show and does not give an option to do manual check in, just goes back to Tap here to check in screen over and over. Here was the reply I got. So no help with either problem. I love Viggle and am not going to complain about getting free stuff. However, making it harder and harder to use the app is going to turn a lot of people away and eventually Viggle will be out of business.

I am sorry but we experienced an issue with check-in bonus points last night.

Unfortunately, the points are not recoverable.

In regards to your App freezing please try to do a restart of the app. Tap your home button twice. In the bottom bar, press on the Viggle icon until it starts to wiggle. Press the red minus sign in the top, left-hand corner of the app. Hit the home button again to make the apps stop wiggling. Re-open your Viggle app.

So no help with either problem. I love Viggle and am not going to complain about getting free stuff. However, making it harder and harder to use the app is going to turn a lot of people away and eventually Viggle will be out of business.

Yikes, that's not good. :sad2: Thanks for the heads up....so far I haven't had any problems with the Best Buy gift cards. Knock on wood! :rolleyes:

I always double check the balance on the gift card....never know when you might get a $0 one. :headache:

Just cashed out for a SB GC. Now that the android app is starting up, I think the GC are gonna start going really fast!
 
Has anyone's check in's been working since last night?

Have checked into about 7-9 shows today and I'm not recieving credit.

Of course, Viggle emailed me and told me they can't re-issue points :sad2::mad:

I'm getting about 1 out of 4 log in's this is insane.....two nights in a row!!!
