Ordering a case of water yesterday from Staples.com....$5.99
Free shipping and order due to arrive at POR today...Status says delivered
If I show up on Sunday and it's there for $6 & free overnight shipping...Priceless!

I tried this for the first time and if it's waiting for me upon check-in, I will be a happy gal! If not, I'm only out $6!

Since that's all I wanted delivered...that was a good deal!

Please report back! I'll be ordering from somewhere in about 2 weeks and I'd love to know if this worked out for you.

I believe that the free shipping was a standard thing. DD worked an internship in the purchasing dept of my company and said that they always shipped free when she ordered supplies. I'll let you know if I am successful!

I understand water is here, but I don't have it yet, so I think it worked!
We have to switch rooms tomorrow in order to get one of the POR rooms with queens so no sense lugging it back and forth. If it's not for some reason I will repost.

But ME got my luggage here so that is good!

Yes, there are plenty of water fountains and water available at all drink stations, but many non-floridians do not like the taste of Florida tap water. Plus not all the fountains are as cold as I prefer my water to be.

I'm gland i found this thread. I was about to order from staples and then I thought I'd better see if this was still ok to do and how far in advance to order. We don't arrive until a week from tomorrow, so I guess I should wait a few more days.

Water from Staples arrived fine at POR.

Yes, they moved us to a renovated room which has queen beds. Sooo much better! Heading home tomorrow... Oh well, we had a great week!

I just checked Staples and they now have a $45.00 minimum for free delivery.

If under $45.00, there is a $9.95 delivery charge which is more than a case of water.

I believe Staples Premier members get free shipping, no minimum.

Personally, I've always ordered water from Costco --> Poly. Have done it 3 times and worked like a charm each time. I've always ordered on Monday and water was always delivered and waiting when we checked in on Saturday each time.

Although I have had water delivered in the past - I have found it easier to bring it with me in my checked luggage.
Since we have stayed at CSR twice we had to find a different way because they charge for deliveries.
Most airlines allow wine/liquor (check for maximum) as well. So we pack our water and wine in one bag along with snacks. On the way home this bag is used for souvies and dirty laundry.
Southwest has a 50lb per bag max. so this works well. They also have no limit on wine and 5 bottle limit on alcohol.

I used Walmart to deliver "Great Value" bottled water to POFQ. The total cost for 2 cases was $8.90 including delivery. I ordered on Friday morning and it arrived Monday afternoon via FedEx ahead of the projected Wed-Fri delivery window projected by Walmart.

Port Orleans stored package at Riverside mailroom. When we arrived Friday at 11PM, the mailroom was closed. In the morning, I had the French Quater request the package be delivered to the FQ lobby. We went to breakfast and returned to claim our package.

The resort store charged $16.00 for one case of water vs. $8.90 for two cases delivered from Walmart.

Just placed an order for 2 cases of water from Walmart. Total was $8.90 with shipping.

We arrive at Pop Century this Saturday (May 12). It said delivery would be between May 9-14. Hope everything goes smoothly. Worst case scenario it's only $9.

There are three Hess Stations on Disney property..

Two are located on Buena Vista Drive.. one opposite DTD and another further along BV drive.. just past Coronado Springs.

There is a third location at the car care center just outside the Magic Kingdom. I don't know how you'd get to this one short of calling a courtesy shuttle and then "changing your mind" -- don't recommend that.

Is the Hess just past CSR a short walk? We check in there on Monday and want to get to Hollywood for ADRs so don't want to lose a lot of time. If not, we will hop a bus the next morning. Is there also time of day limits to purchasing alcohol? It's not that we drink early, but if that is the only time we can pick it up....

Just curious - I'm checking a few sources for water for our August stay (we'll need at least two cases!) and Walmart is showing a $45 minimum order to get free shipping. Costco's S/H is included in the price and Staples has a minimum order as well (think it's $45 - I just closed that window). I'm also going to check Amazon.

Any current information on what's working best for everyone re: water delivery? Thanks!

We ordered through Turner Drugs - we also got two cases, I think there were 30 bottles per case at $8.00/case plus a delivery charge of about the same. They just put it on a room charge too. http://turnerdrug.com/ They delivered the day we arrived. This was just this past month.

If you order less than $45 than it is 97 cent shipping per item at Walmart.
Sams Club has free shipping too. If you don't have a membership than I believe it is a 10% surcharge.
