That's great! I'll let you know how the NY one goes. Hopefully, they won't put it in some remote area of an outer borough, though I will try not to let that "color" my experience before I get there from the far reaches of Manhattan.

I may do New York as well. I think I'll decide after I look at the race map. If the start/finish is close enough that I don't have to get on a subway going home that dirty, I may do it

I'm waiting for the course map to post before I decide, too. I'll bring an old mylar sheet for the subway ride, but I may not do it if it's too far away or hard to get to, like the Queens Half used to be!!

This does look amazing--I'm thinking about doing the one in Portland too! Wish I'd seen it a month ago, when it was "only" $40. Still a lot for a 5k, but it sounds like it's more about the fun than the competition. I do have a birthday coming up...maybe the entry fee would make a good birthday present....

DH and I are doing the Color Run in Racine, WI! I'm pondering using one of my Podcast T Shirts to get the full color effect and then wear it on PCC 3.0!

T and K, SERIOUSLY CONSIDER IT! (By the way, I haven't trained a LICK! I'll be probably WALKING the 5k... more color collected that way anyway...to my estimation)
