I have various questions so I figured I would knock them out with one post~! :yay::yay::yay:

We are planning on going to Florida the 4-8
staying in Clearwater Fort De Soto Park Campgrounds 4-7 and then Camp Wilderness 7-8,

I have a family of 6 children ages 14-12-7-3

I would like to take a trip to Sea World but cannot find any discounted tickets under $355 for us all, If anyone has any suggestions please send my way

Also would the younger ones 7 and 3 enjoy it (I know they would enjoy the animals but the rides?)

How crowded does the park usually get during the first of June?

Would it be cheaper to get the dining plan for all of us or just to leave grab something to eat and come back?

Thanks in advance for answering such questions~!

I'll try to answer your questions the best I can.

Since you mentioned June at the end, I'm guessing these dates are in June?

I'm guessing 4 adults and 2 children. If so, I can't come up with anything cheaper either. Cheapest I can see is buying your tickets through Undercover Tourist. Their prices already include taxes and shipping. Sea World site doesn't give you the final price until you start checking out.

Also would the younger ones 7 and 3 enjoy it (I know they would enjoy the animals but the rides?)

They have a kiddie area where there are rides for the smaller kids. I don't have any kids, so I couldn't say whether or not they would enjoy it. But I've read many posts on here that state kids of similar age have had fun in the kiddie area.

Never been in June. Have been in July. When we went in July, the crowds were some what bigger. First week of June I suspect would be some what busy as that when most schools let out.

Our plan is to get the dining plan on our next trip. What we spent on food without the dining plan was about the same if we would've gotten it. Plus most people use it to get just snacks and water throughout the day. I wouldn't really leave to try and come back. The animal shows only show at various times of the day. If you don't plan your day properly, you may end up missing a show you wanted to see.

Thanks in advance for answering such questions~!

Hope this helped. You can send me a pm if you like and I can let you know about our experiences. Have fun.

Check with your AAA office, if you're a member. Discounts vary by region, but I found that ours had some good deals, including a ticket that was essentially the same price as Sea World's, but had all day dining included.

My 8 year old likes the kiddie rides o.k. but he really likes the 3 story climbing structure. The kiddie rides are similar to six flags so if you're time is limited, I would probably skip these.

I like the dining plan when I get it for $20 a day (discounted annual pass price) -- you get breakfast too. I like the unlimited bottled water, snacks and desserts on the dining plan. The food is pretty good too.

I can't help you with how to go to Sea World cheaper except that if you go to Discovery Cove, then you can go to Sea World, Aquatica, or Busch Gardens for free or all 3 for $50 per person.

June is hot....so you will need to drink water all day.....Dining plan for adults is $29.99 for kids it is cheaper. You can eat all 3 meals and get water, snacks or sodas all day long by using the 5 restaurants in the plan.......2 meals and drinks and I spend well over the $30 line(@6.95 line actually as a 2 year pass holder) I would not recommend leaving the park to get food, but it is doable with many places to eat near by. Food in the park is good though. So good we sometimes just meet friends there to eat and talk.

Was there the first week of June the last 2 years and the parks were busy, but rarely stand in line because they fill whole stadiums for the shows. Try to get to the shows 15 minutes before they start, but watch and listen to see if you need to get there earlier by the announcements of stadium closings and crowds you see. It was really hot last year and I used the fan mister even when watching the fireworks.
