I wonder that too. I enjoy the show regardless but... Also what happened to John's Harp player. Was she fired or did she mysteriously disappear?

I already hear, "don't you know nothin'" all the time. I say it to my husband and he thinks it's the funniest thing. But the funniest thing is that he has no idea where the saying comes from. Obviously not a podcast listener.

I wondered too, but figured there was a good reason for no more Prizematron.

I too always loved the Bawbism's on it, especially (as others) the 'don't ya know nothin'.

It's still a part of the wonderful memories of the podcast, one that I cherish.

Is the Podcast crew giving away monthly prizes anymore at all? I admit that for about the past 9 months I've been going back and listening from the beginning concurrently with current podcasts and I can no longer remember what has happened recently and what happened 5 years ago.

I'm guessing with the addition of the welcome center, not to mention all the podcast crews and ABD trips, the prizematron budget may have taken a bit of a beating.

Don't know about the prizematron, but they do still award a mug/lanyard/etc if you have an email read on the show.

I liked the prizematron. It didn't have to cruises or hotel stays. It's the thrill of the winning...or seeing stuff given out. Could be a sticker book or a bath ball from Basin. Any stupid thing would do. Pair of socks. A pin. Whatever.

It was funny.
