They offer 3 reservation times. If I get a 7pm time and the fireworks are at 9pm, do we have to stay there for 2 hours? Also if I get a 9pm reservation time, will I miss the dessert party and just be there in time for the fireworks? Are the reservations made 180 days ahead like the regular dining reservations?

Why they have 3 reservation times I do not know. Maybe it is to space out the times that people arrive. It does not matter what time your reservation is you can come in 2 hours before Wishes. There is a preassigned table for everybody and that table is yours for the 2 hours. If you show at 7 your table will be there and if you show at 8:55 the exact same table will be there. Now I will say that once the fireworks begin the desserts disappear. So if you get there late and feel hungry stock up your table.

What is the pricing?

Although the drop down menu for online reservations lists three times, I believe that only covers all the options given throughout the year, meaning whether wishes is scheduled for 8, 9, or 10pm. When I booked ours, wishes was scheduled for 10pm. The earliest time offered for that night was 9pm. Now, there are some offered later times such as between 9:00 and 9:15, but I do not recall anyone ever mentioning anything later than that.

From what I have researched however, everyone, regardless of reservation time, are let in one hour before wishes, with preassigned tables.
Reservation are generally available 60-90 days prior, depending on what time of month you are looking at. Generally the entire month opens up on the same day, in the afternoon, so if you are looking at the end of a month it could be almost 90 days out. I booked May 24 on March 7, the first day available to book.

I have never heard of a Wishes Dessert Party?

Can someone give me a little info on it?

Also, I have a friend who thought she went to an ice cream party at Akershus a few years ago to meet and greet with the princesses. Has anyone ever heard of that?

Thanks!

We booked at the beginning of the month (April) for 2 adults and 4 kids: total was [FONT=&quot]$129.88 (inc tax)

Based on this, I believe the prices are for off peak. ($22 - $24)

Thank you! We have 4 kids too and are thinking about doing this in Aug. Just couldn't find a price anywhere! Thanks for the help.

We've done the Dessert Party twice now and it's a great way to enjoy the fireworks without dealing with the crush of people on Main Street and in front of the castle.

The way they list times is indeed confusing - first time we showed up early, second time we showed up late. There was no difference, you have a reserved table for the night. Show up whenever.

It is true that they begin cleaning up a bit once the fireworks start, so if you do arrive late your dessert eating may be shortened.

Might not be a bad idea to linger for a bit after the fireworks, as the hordes of people leaving and heading for transportation are best avoided!

Do you make the reservation through Disney Dining online? Will it just show up when it becomes available?

Thanks

Autumn

You can make your reservations online. Look for the date you want and the system will tell you if it is available. I just made my reservation for June 27th.

Can you see the electric parade from the dessert party? Or should we watch that first and then make our way up there?

When I typed in Wishes Dessert party at the Disney World Website where I make all of my other ADR's nothing came up? Is that where I book it at? I know you can only book about 90 days in advance, but normally when you type in the name of the resturant it will at least pull up the resturant's name, but with the dessert party it doesn't.

qtmissy19 I looked at my reservations and this is what it is written as: Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party
Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe

Reservations for july opened yesterday I believe. I made reservations last night. I can't wait!

On the reservation page select dining event. It will then be listed in the drop down menu. Scheduling opens up 30-60 days prior, not 90 and not a a set schedule. The entire month of July just opened yesterday I believe, but not until later in the day, so you must be prepared to check frequently the first week of the month two months before you want to go. If the reservation window is not open is will show as unavailable, which doesn't really help because you won't necessarily know if that means it is full, or just not available yet.

Here you go.
You'll be able to make your ADR through that link. For some reason it doesn't show up if you search on the ADR page, but if you go to the Dessert party page there is a "make reservation" link.

Also you can't really see the MNSP from there, just to the tops of the floats really. Once you check into the dessert party they will give you wrist bands, you can come and go as you please, so you could theoretically check in, grab a bit, go see the parade and come back for fireworks. But honestly I'd try and make time another day to see the MNSP and not mess with that.
