Thanks. I loved Lightening in it. Hate when camera doesn't work. Nearly cried more than once in Disney when I thought camera was either missing or the video camera wouldn't work.

We love LMA, we can't wait to see it again with Lightning McQueen in it! And just because you mentioned it, I want a Starring Rolls cupcake!!

I never saw the version with Herbie so can't really compare but McQueen is just cool.

We saw the second show on the Friday night of that week and he was back out on the stage at the end before he disappeared into the smoke. Maybe there was a malfunction with a trap door or something when you went.

She never emailed back at all so I presume the position was filled. I think it's kinda rude the way people do that. I understand that people are busy and whatever else but how long would it take to send a generic this position has been filled email to everyone the way they send an are you available email. Kinda miffed about it but still to busy with the college stuff to think to much about it.

It's silly if they took Sorcerer Mickey out though Fantasmic is in the park with the Sorcerer's hat as it's main park icon it doesn't make sense. Plus he's the coolest Mickey Mouse (I may have said that already )





On the plus side and in life news I have finished picking the 15 minutes footage I'm going to use for the tv doc out of the ten tapes I recorded I might change some of the music since I seem to have gone for over Kill on the "We're off to see the Wizard song." I also finished recording my radio interviews so need to go through all those now and cut them down to 30 mins and I still have 4 months of notes to type and that's just the college work. So basically this is me for the next three weeks

It was fun. None of the class won but it was still fun. The host was an Irish television presenter/comedian very funny! They weren't really letting anyone that won do a speech a couple of people tried and then this one guy hogged the mic for like ten minutes (he got booed off the stage when he went and just one more thing) and the comedian came back with after that speech I'd just like to let you all know the sun is coming up outside

I stayed in Dublin because was doing radio work today and I got to hang around and take pics of pretty shiney things like this:

It was a Mickey iPhone case, there was Minnie, Daisy and Donald covers as well. That shop is so cool. I just walk past and stare at the shiney things in the window such a child!

I realise it's 5 months since the trip and I'm still on day 6 of 15. Yay living trip over through lingering trip report! Anyways I wanted to do another update because I also realise it's May next Tuesday and college is nearly over so lots of work! Anyways less talk more trip report:

Day 6, part 8:
So we were there in November, we had just left fantasmic and were heading across in front of the big pointy hat where do you think we were headed?....
























If your guess was Streets of America for Osbourne lights give yourself a pat on the back! We rounded the corner and WOAH they said there was millions of lights but I never imagined anything like this. It was AMAZING! We literally just stood there completely overwhelmed for a few minutes not knowing which way to look first, the music started then and the dancing of the lights started and it was just brilliant and then it got even better because it started snowing. Cue excited child standing in the middle of the street and you get IT'S SNOWING MOMMA! Omg like Wowsers. We did eventually start moving down the street and walked all around every corner we could find to see all the lights and get pictures so now cue lots of pictures:

We did stop for two photopass pics as well and this was the top of one of the photopass pics I thought it looked cool:

We eventually pryed ourselves away from the pretty shiney dancing lights (or well I did, Momma said she was just following me) but since the park was closing soon we started to head towards the exit. We stopped to get a photopass pic in front of the big pointy hat:

and I took pics of the shop windows:

We also made a stop at Mickeys of Hollywood where I got a Christmas t-shirt and some pins because there was monies left in the budget for that day

Before heading for the bus. Now funny story. Momma apparently was not having much luck with buses on this trip. Remember how on day 1 I told y'all how she had convinced herself that our navy blue bus from our hotel to Epcot was white. Yeah fine so we went out to bus park in Hollywood studios and I headed for the bus that we would need Momma following along behind. As we were getting on the bus there was a lady in front of us asking the bus driver if the bus would be making a stop at All Star resorts and he was explaining to her this bus would only be going to Epcot and that she needed to go to whatever other number bus stop to get a bus that would stop at the All Star resorts. Fine so that lady gets off the bus and Momma gets on and says loud and proud to mr bus driver "International Palms Resort please." Mr. Bus driver just looked like he was thinking it's not my night at which point I piped up and went Momma shhh no sorry sir we need to go to Epcot bus park thanks. Sat Momma down and explained how the buses that say DISNEY on them only go around DISNEY property and wouldn't be bringing us back to the hotel. We laughed alot over that though. We did eventually get our bus back to our hotel and managed to get the earlier one at 9pm as well so we went for a stroll up International drive because the hot dog hadn't filled Momma. We went to see what Chuck E Cheese was about because I'd heard so much about it on the dis forums:

We literally just looked and left though and decided to go to Pizza hut, if you read last years trip report you'll find a story about a scary waitress in there but she wasn't there this year so it was all good. We got a pizza between the two of us. Momma had her half but I was literally falling asleep at the table so the nice waiter came over with a box and asked if I'd like to take the rest back to the hotel which I did happily.

It was a long day but we got loads done and talking about it after Momma was well impressed with how much we got done. I was like yeah because we stopped for food less often and then told her about the frump girls here on dis how they say there's no sleeping in Disney so I'm adding there's no sleeping or eating in disney It is funny though because at home I have difficulty getting out of the bed before 12 o'clock in the day and yet in Florida I was up at 6 or 6.30 most mornings and out at the bus stop by 8 for Disney and we would literally keep going until the park were kicking us out at night
