Beach Club Marketplace- Counter Service, Groceries and Merchandise- inc. YC Gift Shop

Marlton Mom, thanks for the great pix! I sent an email to the YC/BC IPO to see if I could get four of those shirts pre-stocked in our room for a little check-in magic. So, I embedded your Flickr link but, of course, Disney IT has Flickr blocked so CMs can't visit the site. I tried to PM you, but I don't have enough posts (been on these boards for years, but rarely post...). Is there a way to borrow the picture from the quote above so i can reference it for the IPO?

Alternatively, to anyone with intel on this subject, is it easier to just order the shirts from the BC Marketplace and ask the IPO (or CL CM) to see that they make it to our room?

Any and all thoughts/recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I can email or PM you a picture of the shirt. Or I think you can actually "copy" it (I do this for photos posted on the DIS that I use, with permission, on the Beach and Yacht Club board)

Copy the photo (right mouse click)

Paste it where ever you keep your photos on your computer

Attach it in an email to CL IPO.

I'll check with Marlton Mom, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind you using this photo to order some for your trip

Awesome; thanks! Duh, right click... I'm on my iPad (where there's no right-click) and hadn't even thought of grabbing the pix from my laptop! :)

Cheers,

Dave

Pixarmom...and anyone else who might know... did you happen to notice if there are packets of butter at the cooking station? DH likes a buttered english muffin for breakfast...

Thanks!

Hi mbarone54! I know we've found butter at BC Marketplace before, but I can't recall where it's located. I don't see it in the refrigerator cases and there is another condiment in the cooking station area that's not jam or jelly, but I don't think it's butter. But I just know it's there somewhere!!!

So you are all set, right?

MM said it was fine to "borrow" any of the photos for your purposes. She just doesn't want them used for commercial ventures.

I am set. Thanks to you and MM for your help! I'll post the outcome (so, I can eventually have enough posts to PM! :) ).

@ Jade1- thank you so much for sharing these! Would it be ok for me to add the picture of the shirt to the BC merchandise post? I'll credit the photo to you.

BTW- I love your photos!!! I don't make it to the BC/YC/BCV photo thread often, but whenever I do, I am blown away by your pictures.

Well thanks-sure add them on.

For those interested, we just got back from our trip and made use of the cooking station at the BC Marketplace every morning. They have "butter substitute" - not actual butter, but close enough for me! I had brought some slices of bread along with cinnamon for my DD7 and was able to give her buttered cinnamon toast just like at home. They also have cream cheese. I would purchase a bagel on my snack credit every morning, toast it and slather it with some cream cheese and be good to go! Hope that helps!

We are staying at the BCV this Oct. during F & W Festival and this thread has been so helpful and makes me even MORE excited for our trip. Thank you! :goodvibes

Staying here for the first time in December!

:welcome:

Just wanted to give you an official invite to join us over on the Beach and Yacht Club FAQ thread.

We just started up a new thread, so no need to wade through 200 plus pages. At least for a few days!

Lots of info on the resorts on Page 1 of that thread, and lots of fun discussion within the pages.

You can find us by clicking on the link in my signature.

A few questions I hope you BC fans can help me with. We are booked right now for the BW as I thought it was where my mom and dad like to stay (I tried to surprise her with this booking) but come to find out they ALWAYS stayed at the BW but walked to the BC and Marketplace for their breakfasts as she puts it "they were still in kid mode" (both my sister and I are at least 15 years + from High School) but the Marketplace gave so many options.

Well now I'm trying to decide if I should change Res to BC - we are 9 days out so will incur fee, but we only have 2 days so limited time at the Mouse house so don't want to waste it walking in AM to other resorts when should be going to RD.

So she always went to the Marketplace for Made to Order Parfaits, I've heard those are no longer. Is that true? Cause then I could just go to Bakery at BW or so many other places carry the same Parfaits now so no need for walk. Also looking at staying at BW because heard Hurricane Hannas and the YC Steakhouse are closed while we will be there so other times we want food we'd probably walk back to BW anyway.

Now off BC topic to BW is there any Marketplace type CS at BW?

That's all my questions, I look forward to your replies. Thanks for the help.

I was wondering if anyone had the recipe for the breakfast potatoes you get with the scrambled egg platter.

Thank you

I haven't seen one. There are a lot of recipe thread on the DIS- I believe in the dining subforum and maybe the Community subforum. It is a longshot because I think it is mostly restaurant recipes there.

I'll ask this over on the main Beach & Yacht Club FAQ thread. You never know what info someone might have tucked away or be willing to ask if they are visiting soon.

:)
