Renting points the first couple weeks of December, a few questions

I am thinking about renting points for my next trip which will be in **** 2013. Hopefully the first or second week. I really would like a studio at ***. My two questions are this...

1. Should I try to rent at the 7-month mark or should I go with the 11-month mark, since this is a high occupancy week for DVC.

2. I will be renting through a broker. I do know of Davids and the great rep is has and I may use them. But do you know of any other brokers with a good rep that might be a little cheaper?

Hi, I had to remove some specific info from your post so it would not be considered a Reservation Wanted post.

Given that you know it is a popular time for DVC Members, I would definitely be looking at booking early. Maybe contacting your broker at 12 months so that an owner can be lined up in advance to book right at the 11 month window, even though you are looking at relatively large DVC Resort.

As far as brokers,while there are a few other than David, I think they all charge about the same rate...there has to be some profit for the broker as well as the owner, and David is reputable.
