Beach Club views? online check in? have questions please help..

I have one night booked for next Thursday at Beach Club in a studio. The next 3 nights at Boardwalk. I figure my waitlist has not come through yet for BWV (still checking online everyday) so should I do online check in? but what if a studio opens up between now and next Thursday what happens then if I have already checked into BC? And if I commit to BC are there any requests for the studio I should put in for? I have read that there really is no great views, but top floor? lower floor? close to lobby? what are my choices?? I have never stayed before so I am not sure?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

Wait lists expire at either 31 or 7 days from your arrival date. You can still change resorts even if you have already completed the on-line check-in process. If you were able to change resorts, it's still a cancel and rebook. Since you are less than 30 days from arrival, if the new reservation takes less points, those extra points go into holding.

IMO you don't gain anything with online check in. We are at WDW now, our first 3 resorts we did online check in and at all 3, nothing was pre-put together to speed us on our way. They still had to put the room info together, make the keys, have us sign the check in form and verified our CC.

Wow we've had a different experience with online check-in......our room packet was all together with our name on the front.....they gave it to us and we were on our way....some times our room has been ready...other times we received a text when it was

Our experience with online check-in has always been great. We do it every trip. Once, at BCV, a CM actually met us outside by bell services with our packet at around 9AM and our room was ready!

I have never done online check in can I make requests at that time? What would you request? garden view? upper floor? I am only there for 1 night so I guess its not that big of a deal but I am bringing my step-mom and it her first visit so I wanted to "impress"
