We booked our flights over a month ago for our Oct. Trip. They say nonrefundable. We still want to fly and with the same airline but we are now noticing some added flights that are nonstop. Can we change them now? We are newbies at this...can you tell?
We were flying Airtran and they changed our departure time just slightly, so we contacted Airtran and they said we could change our flights with no charge, but since we booked through Disney, we would have to do it through them. Well, they were going to charge us $150 per ticket to change! Had we just booked the airfare ourselves, we could have changed with no problem. Needless to say, I book our own airfare now!
ETA: Still, I would call and see what they say. It won't hurt and maybe they've changed their policy a bit?

Just want to put out there the SW "credit":Sorry to say JetBlue charges a change fee. I am flying JetBlue for the first time in June and changed my flight from a night one to the early morning non-stop and I was charged a $100 change fee plus and increase in the fare. We are flying SW for the first time in Aug. and they don't charge for any changes and are great if the fare goes down with giving you credit for it.
I am having buyers remorse right now too with regards to airfare. We are flying SW for the first time out of Chicago, which is 2-1/2 hours away because I thought the price wasn't going to get any better. Just yesterday, out of our home airport, Delta round trip is now $50.00 cheaper per ticket, which would be a savings of $350.00 for us BUT I am now stuck with SW.
