We had some awesome gluten free chocolate chip cookies at Epcot Garden Grill. They were amazing!!! I am kicking myself that I didn't ask for the recipe or what brand they were. Does anyone know of a way I can still find out? I would love to have them at home. Thanks!!!!

Are you sure they're not just the OMG.... It's Gluten Free cookies? What did they look like? If it was in the past 3 or 4 months and they were large cookies then I bet they were just the OMG cookies. If you're looking on the website, they're the "and dairy free" ones.

They said they were good-of course they were not OMG:lmao:

I wonder....... I had heard talk of Babycakes products being made available for table service desserts.......

LMAO!!! Hey, DD11 LOVED the OMG cookies. She grabbed at least one each day from the CL lounge at Poly on our last trip even though we had some of those tiny frozen French Meadow brownies in our room compliments of the lounge chef who ordered them in just for her.

I thought the only Babycakes desserts available in the restaurants were ones special ordered for quite the price. Basically that Babycakes is handling the allergy cake line requests.

There was talk of having BC desserts available at TS for guests who have made ADR's and noted allergies.

Wait a minute!!!! Did you say you had a chef RECENTLY order French Meadow brownies?

Details PLEASE!!!!!!

I don't think they were OMG. I had one of those also. These were so soft and chewy and HUGE. They were still warm. I was thinking they might be the French Meadow ones?? My DH who is not gf thought they were awesome!!!

This was the chef in charge of the club lounge at the Polynesian. We've kept in touch since our first stay and when we mentioned we'd be coming again and I asked about the changes, she took it upon herself to stock up on some things that she knows we like. She really is an AMAZING person who really makes a difference in our stays. I think she sent one of her staff over to Whole Foods to pick up goodies for us as we had several things that aren't typically available at WDW. Our arrival day was her day off yet she came in just to see us and make sure we had our goodies in our room. We've become close enough to this chef that DD14 who will only hug me, her sisters and a few really close friends (this is after a year of CBT plus OCD) medication yet she actually gave this chef a hug. She's become pretty special to us.

I need to remind myself why we're not staying Poly for our next trip. Hmmmm...... Oh yeah; the promotions we've got for August aren't the greatest at Poly (or are practically non-existant) for our upcoming trip. Yup, that was why. I need to book at ADR at Poly so we have to go over to visit.

The OMG ones were pretty huge. Maybe the chef just had a good way of heating them? The French Meadow cookies they used to carry were smaller than the OMG cookies. Or, maybe they were the Kneads cookies. We had a chef a couple years ago bake up a batch for us at our resort. Though, he only had the chocolate chocolate chip and snickerdoodle options; he didn't have any regular chocolate chip.

I believe if they were small cookies, chocolate chip, they maybe the Enjoy Life brand. I have had several products in EPCOT that were that brand offered as a dessert of a snack option.:yay:

They were probably Enjoy Life if they were smaller. The fact that the chef took the time to heat them though is pretty cool! I miss WARM cookies :goodvibes
