... You bake Mickey Head shaped cakes

... You serve tea in one of TWO Alice in Wonderland teapots

... everyone has their pin lanyards hanging in their bedroom

... All start planning our next trip IN TWO YEARS after we just get back.

... you take your 6 year old DD to the Natural History Museum where there is a recreation of a historical Native American boat that kids are allowed to climb in and play on, and your DD is playing the captain of the boat and lines up the other kids and seats them in the boat and advises "Next stop Magic Kingdom at Disneyworld". (happened yesterday)

julluvsdisney-- my DD starts several sentences a day with "next time we go to Disney can we..." too!

My kids are the same way (ages 4 & 5). Every time we see something about another country, my daughter says "we've been there!!" They also know that once another trip is in the works we are only allowed to watch Disney movies!

- When my 5 y/o wants to read a book and it ends up being our photo album from Disney.
- When 95% of our movies are Disney
- When I say I want to see my boyfriend, they automatically know I am talking about Mickey Mouse.

When your 20 month old runs around the house saying "I'm going to Disney World" and knows most of the Disney characters by name.

At least twice a week my DDs 9 and 7 pack up all the American Girl dolls and their clothes, and take them to Disney World. They load everything onto the "airplane" (bed). They set up a hotel in the closet. The spinning office chair becomes the teacup ride. They act out the shows. The pretend to eat Mickey bars. It goes on and on. :rotfl:

The entire family has been planning our next trip since our last. We went for the first time in 2009 and we aren't going again until 2013.

When my husband and I look at each other and say "I wish we were in Disney"

When the now almost 5 year old counts down the days and has been doing it since your trip in 2009 when he was 2 and 1/2.

When the now 7 year old who was 4 when we last went counts down with her aunt who's going for the first time.

When you and your husband are excited to hear how many days and are starting to make plans, we already know we're going back to POFQ, we loved it there.

When you have your entire extended family excited for their first trip since your 2009 trip (My parents and my sister's family is coming in 2013 with us).

Yes!! Same here!!

Our kids will also search the house for all their Disney stuffies and play Disneyworld. It is so cute, DH or I will come upon their stuff after they are at school or outside...it is always so obvious what they were playing. :)

When you're 22 month old can name 1/2 the princesses (thanks to his sister!)

The music preference in the car is Disney CD's

you have the family stickers on your car back window that all have the mouse ears on them!

even the Easter baskets are Disney related! (DD has a crown basket and DS a Mickey head!)

Once I said to my daughter "we need to get you a haircut." She thought we were going back to Disney World because she always gets a haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop! :cutie:

When you start talking about going to DW and your 27 and 22 year old sons ask when are we leaving?

  • Your DD says "this goes in the Disney Fund" when she gets $1 for every holiday in the mail from her g-gma
  • Same DD walks by the American Girl stores and tell DS "I can't go in there today because AG clothes are SOOOO expensive and we're saving for Disney World."
  • Every Friday night is Disney movie night

... when teachers your kids haven't even had yet stop you in the hallway because they are planning a trip and need some advice.

... when planning out next years school calendar of events the school principal says "you won't be here that week anyway" because we go to Disney MLK week every year and it's just assumed we'll be going again. :thumbsup2

And reading through these I just laugh and go check, check, check. :rotfl:

Your 4 year old sees the new Disney Fantasy ship on television and says "I want to go on the Mickey boat!"

Your DH gets complimented on his Mickey polo shirt at church.

Your one year old recognizes and retrieves Minnie Mouse when you ask her.
