Ahhh, not the last day!!!! It was kind of cool to realize though that as you were strolling WS, we were just arriving at Pop and we were sitting at the pool waiting for our rooms to be ready while you were at Via Napoli. LOVED Via Napoli btw!

Can I just say how sad it is that it's almost over? At least you made it last, I was done with my TR months ago! I'm glad you have another trip planned, cannot wait to hear about it!!! Will you do a PTR?

I get the Hoveround joke! I am attending Grand Canyon University for grad school online and told my husband if we fly out for my graduation next year that I want to go to the Grand Canyon. What I didn't tell him was that I wanted to take my moms scooter and test the Echo

Congrats on another trip. I'd love to be there at the same time as you because just meeting another LOST fan who gets it like me would be amazing but to also show the love of Disney would be great. It would drive my husband crazy Im sure to hear the conversations on LOST we could have. lol

First, I am a lurky loo and I have to say I am kind of sad your trip report is coming to an end. I have just over 230 days until my next trip and I am going nuts waiting waiting waiting. Your TR helped pass the time.

But I had to comment about Via Napoli. That place is my fav. must do, love love love. Seriously I cant not express how much I LOVE that restaurant.
Did you know you can buy the plate? I asked about it in Oct. the waitress wasn't sure and got the manager, and sure enough for $12 the plate was mine. It has a special spot in our kitchen!

It's okay, lurky loos are always welcome in my TR! I am pretty bummed out about it, too... but on the other hand, at least I have my next trip to look forward to planning, so that makes it a bit easier! But I'm glad my TR helped pass the time... if only our trips were closer!

I LOVE Via Napoli and now that I know you can buy the plate, I think we will have to get one next trip! That is pretty awesome! Thanks for the tip.

I don't have Via Nappolli in my plans for October! And unfortunately I don't think they will fit in anywhere!!

The days at Disney go by so fast... I'm already done typing out Day #7 on my PTR and I put on there that I imagine the time in Disney will feel even faster than what it feels as I type out the days plans!

I'm pretty sad about it, too! That's too bad about Via Napoli... but there's always next trip!! The days definitely go by. Well I mean, they do and they don't if that makes sense. I think because our trips tend to be around 10 days, and we do a LOT, it seems like a nice long vacation that by the time we're on our last day, we're at peace with going home.

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed out about it, but it's okay! And yes, a PTR will be made! I like having a place to talk about Disney and planning for it. Probably won't have a TON of plans, but it's fun to discuss ADRs and all of that. I'm pretty excited to start the PTR!!

I know! I am hoping that maybe one other person from the DIS will be there at the same time as us! It was so much fun doing a DISmeet during our last trip, and I made a really good friend from it. Chapter Fourty-Three: "GOD BLESS THE USAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Day 11: January 28th, 2012​

We went back to the room and got changed into our bathing suits, because we of course HAD to have one last day at Stormalong Bay!

We lounged in the sun for a bit, and I laughed at Matt's intense farmer's tan he managed to get during our vacation...

We swam for a bit, then relaxed and read, tanned, and I worked on my book of logic puzzles (I'm a total puzzle nerd)... It was SO relaxing!

We stayed until around 2:30, then packed up our stuff and waved goodbye to SAB. BUT! Before we went back to the room, I just had to stop by Beaches and Cream for a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich!

It was the perfect size; not too huge but also not too small and full of delicious ice cream. Yes, it's a snack credit, so if you're ever in the area and want an ice cream sandwich, this is another option! They put it into a little to-go container for me, and we were on our way.

Once back in the room, we showered and got changed, and then I totally ate my ice cream sandwich... IT WAS SO GOOD.

While we got ready for our final destination, we put Stacey on... because yes, we even needed to watch her one final time and say goodbye to her, too..

We headed out of our room for the bus stop, and I just couldn't get over the beautiful day we were having..

We even stopped to say goodbye to our turtle friends, the "three amigos" as we called them, as we walked along the way. Yes, we were just FULL of goodbyes.. it's kind of depressing looking back on it. But we kept our happy faces on, because we weren't done yet!

We hung out at the bus stop for 15 minutes, and while hanging out there I put on my Pluto Mickey ears. It's kind of a rule that on our final day, we wear our ears during our final visit to... Magic Kingdom, of course!

A bus came and it wasn't too awfully busy (don't worry, Matt put his ears on when we arrived at MK!)

As we walked in, I spotted Pluto hanging out right outside of the train station and I'm pretty sure I RAN like a little kid to meet him, hahaha. Matt knew I was really excited about this, especially with my ears on, so he insisted he take photos.

Oh. my. gosh. Pluto was the CUTEST! He was so so excited about my ears!

Then he spotted my anniversary pin, and I pointed out Matt and he reenacted Matt's proposal to me, hahaha. I was dying!

We then took one of my favorite photos with my favorite pal, Pluto.

I could not have asked for a better way to start our final visit in Magic Kingdom!

We really took our time down Main Street, I think just to soak in this final day... We knew we were really going to miss this..

We arrived in Tomorrowland and decided to get Fast Passes for Buzz Lightyear, then went on one of our favorites for the last time, the PeopleMover! Nope, it never gets old.

After relaxing ride and talking about how much we enjoyed our trip, we decided to FINALLY go over to Carousel of Progress! I knew if we didn't, I'd totally regret it and be super sad about it.

When I was a little girl, this was my favorite attraction in Disney World. Like, I LOVED it so much. I just found it fascinating that they created this super cool thing where the man, John, never aged, nor did the dog, and they LOOKED SO REAL in my 6-year-old eyes.

Of course, I love the song, and so every time the room moved we would sing along with it. This is where Matt decided to make up his OWN lyrics and every time it turned, he would say, "There's a great big, beautiful tomorroooowwww, shining at the end of every day, there's a great big beautiful tomorrow, GOD BLESS THE U.S.AAAAAAAAA!"

Every time he did it we would start giggling like 5 years old. It was so so stupid but so funny because he was totally doing it to annoy me, but I just found it funny.

We were surprised that Disney didn't have these as the actual lyrics considering how much they just love to be patriotic! Hahaha. Sorry, but we STILL laugh at it whenever one of us randomly sings it... We're goobers, but that's already been established!

Anyway, after having fun watching Grandma play some "high-tech" video games, we went to use our Buzz FPs from earlier. Matt edged me out, darnit. I was hoping to have a higher score!

Next update, we finish out our adventure in Magic Kingdom, and say goodbye to my favorite park...

Dani, I just spent my ENTIRE Sunday reading your TR from the beginning. It was a GREAT way to spend the day, and got me super-excited for my first stay at BC (a short trip w/ my sister in 2 months). You have a great writing style!

The Peoplemover is an excellent way to start a Tommorowland afternoon. I am really glad you decided to do CoP. I really love that attraction. I forced my dad and Anna to ride it with me. I would totally sing the song every time too and the first time or two I was the only one, but then my sister and the people behind us started to join me. By the last time it played, our whole section was singing it. I think Matt's lyric changes would be approved by Disney for sure! You guys are so much like me, it's unreal.

Yeah, they do! And they're really good! They're not as huge as the ones at the Main Street Bakery, but I think they're a perfect size for one person. PLUS being snack credits, it's fabulous!

He was so cute and that interaction was just perfect for our final day in MK!

I think Sam Eagle would love those lyrics. Every time I think about his version it just cracks me up because of how he sings it, hand gestures and all.

AWESOME! I'm so glad you've enjoyed reading my entire TR! That's how I like reading people's TRs.. in one fell swoop! It's a fun way to live vicariously through someone in Disney World.

That is REALLY exciting that you're staying at BC! It's the BEST! I am hoping on our next trip we are able to book there again because it just felt like home to us.

ME TOO! CoP is the best. Such a classic. Our trip around was kind of annoying because some kid nearby kept like moving out of his seat/around and the parents weren't doing anything. But yes, I think Matt's version would be approved... But OMG it's so funny when he busts out singing it. He sometimes even throws out a patriotic arm movement, hahaha.

True story: I almost update today but then I actually made myself not update. A. Because I wanted to make sure people had time to catch up on yesterday's update and B. I don't want it to end! Buuuut I have it planned out that I'll finish by the end of this week, mainly because I start my new job next week and I'm pretty sure I am going to be swamped and overwhelmed in training and all of that fun stuff. So I'll have to finish it this week, but ugh, what a bummer. At least I'll have a PTR for my next trip!

I am so excited, as well! Writing this TR has been an absolute blast and I will definitely have to do it every time we go on a trip! It's so much fun re-living our trip and realizing how much fun we had. I will say, it makes me miss it a lot but now I can start looking forward to the next one! Thanks for sticking with me.

Chapter Fourty-Four: See ya real soon...
Day 11: January 28th, 2012​

After Buzz, we decided to do something that we both actually enjoy, but I KNOW I am in the minority for liking it...

Yup, Stitch's Great Escape! We both find this to be pretty darn adorable, so I never understood all the hate for it. Plus, that Stitch animatronic is so cool! I mean, I know it's in the dark so it is a little scary for kids but I enjoy it. For those who hated the chili dog burp, you can be happy to know that it's no longer a part of the show.

I was happy that Stitch spared me this time in regards to spitting all over me like he did during our honeymoon, hahaha.

At this point we decided we needed some food, so we decided to brave the intense crowds in Fantasyland... on our way through I snapped a picture of Beauty and the Beast's castle!

I have to say it's hilarious when you look at the castle and think it's WAY bigger than it actually is... until a construction worker is standing next to it and you realize how crazy the forced perspective is!

Anyway, if you guessed we were headed for Columbia Harbor House, you are correctomundo!

We both got the exact same thing: fish and chips and the apple crisp (YAY they had it this time!)

YUM! Our food was delicious and the apple dessert was really good! Much better than the cake in a cup (I like it once or twice but not with every single CS meal!)

After dinner, we went to Haunted Mansion, which had a 30 minute wait time posted, but we didn't really care. We needed to ride it one last time before the end of our trip.

Fortunately, it was only a 15 minute wait in reality. I snuck a few photos on my iPhone (don't worry, no flash was used!), most of which turned out bad..

We enjoyed our 10th and final trip with our favorite Hitchhiking Ghosts, and waved goodbye until next year..

We then decided we just had to do one of our other favorites from when we were kids that we hadn't done yet on this trip... The Shooting Gallery!

There is something hilarious about two adults wearing Mickey ears shooting in the Shooting Gallery, hahaha.

All that shootin' must've worked up an appetite, because Matt used his final snack credit on a Churro, of course!

I knew my final snack had to be... A MICKEY PREMIUM!

While I ate my ice cream, we sat and enjoyed a beautiful view of the castle on our final night..

Chapter Fourty-Four: See ya real soon... CONTINUED
Day 11: January 28th, 2012​

After finishing my ice cream, we knew we could not leave Magic Kingdom without one final ride on my favorite in the park, Splash Mountain! We decided to use our FPs from when we got stuck for 50 minutes on Splash Mountain.. Funny enough, it ended up being a complete walk-on, so the FPs were totally unnecessary. Of course, we just had to have some fun on our 10th and final ride on Splash in our photo!

We slowly made our way out of the park, taking one last set of PhotoPass photos (haha you can see how wet we got from Splash!)..

Of course we took our final photos on my phone, too..

And said goodbye to Main Street with one final photo..

I think the one thing we kept telling ourselves as we left the park was that while it was sad, we knew we'd be back next year, so it'd be okay!

We hopped on the bus after a relaxing but fun final day..

We decided to get off at the Yacht Club stop so we could walk through it one final time, back to our resort..

We got back to our room, decided to eat our treats we'd grabbed earlier in Germany. OHMYGOSH that caramel chewy bar is SO GOOD! If you love caramel and soft short bread, you must try this!

I also, I believe while we were in MK, I picked up one of these guys to bring home with me..

We finished packing and went to bed at a decent hour, because we needed to be up at 4am for the Magical Express!

Tomorrow we leave, so you get to fly home with us, see some souvenirs, and get to hear my final thoughts on this trip!

And yes, I'm pretty sad this TR is coming to an end.

There just really isn't anywhere quite as pretty at night as the Magic Kingdom!
Funny, your day was so relaxing and this same day was our "quadfecta" of all four parks from opening EMH through closing EMH. looking through your photos brought a smile to my face remembering what an awesome day it was!
Oh, and even without the chili burp I don't think I will ever do Stitch again! But give me Carousel of Progress any day! It is just so nostalgic to me. I used to think that was the coolest attraction ever when I was little! Seriously, I thought the technology was amazing! And I guess it was for the 70's!

I love Stitch's Great Escape! Believe it or NOT, it is one of the four (YES, FOUR) MK attractions I've done on every Disney trip. I don't know why people hate it. It's supposed to be Stitch before he turned good, but we know he did turn good, so what's the problem, ya know?

Disney is a MASTER of the forced perspective. Insane.

ME TOO! CoP is the best. Such a classic. Our trip around was kind of annoying because some kid nearby kept like moving out of his seat/around and the parents weren't doing anything. But yes, I think Matt's version would be approved... But OMG it's so funny when he busts out singing it. He sometimes even throws out a patriotic arm movement, hahaha.

CoP is so so so good. I can't stand it when parents let their kids annoy other people! You need to catch this on video, haha.

I haven't done Stitch in forever! People hate on it so badly. I do miss Alien Encounter sometimes, but I don't hate Stitch.

Churros in Frontierland taste even better than normal Disney churros. I'm assuming Mickey bars are about the same there because they are awesome no matter where you are! You're killing me with these food pics.
