First, yes I tried the search button. Nothing came up...

Has there been a thread with a list of differences between the Fantasy and the Dream?

More precisely, what is on the Dream that they ended up changing for the Fantasy?
(Better location for the aft elevators, I hope...)

Thanks!

The aft elevators are in the same place on the Fantasy. They added some additional water features on the Fantasy, BBBoutique is also on the Fantasy.

I created a spreadsheet showing the differences, but I don't know how to include it in a post (I know it can be done, because I saw a post with one once).

Let's see if this works:

No, it doesn't include the content. Oh well, it's a start.
Isn't a "figurehead" on the bow of a ship? In that case it would be:
Dream - Captain Mickey
Fantasy - Sorcerer Mickey.

The characters on the stern are:
Dream - Sorcerer Mickey
Fantasy - Dumbo & Timothy

That's a good question and I think you're right. So what do you call them when they're on the stern?

I guess I should include the statues in the atrium too, then. Minnie is on the Fantasy. Who is on the Dream?

I appreciate the spreadsheet, gometros. Thank you.

If anybody knows of any other differences, please pass them on.

If you want to get really nit-picky (sorry, that's how I am) the Fantasy has Mademoiselle Minnie. ;) Don't throw anything at me.

On the Dream, the sports bar 687 is accessible for families during the day to watch sporting events and play games. The similar space on the Fantasy, O'Gills is adults only. So if you're under 18 and want to watch a Sunday afternoon football game, you're out of luck.

The decor is different. They added satellite falls, aqua lab and another mini wading pool for families. The adult bar area has been renamed Europa instead of The District. Pink on the Dream is Ooh la la on the Fantasy. Royal Palace is Royal Court on the Dream, different decor/decorations. They added a new show in AP and kept the Crush show. Also added Bippity Boppity Boutique. I am sure I killed some of the spellings :)

The Fantasy has the Muppet Adventure as listed in the chart.

The Dream has the Mid-ship Detective Agency (didn't see it on the chart).

Thanks, BTW...the chart is a good tool for comparison.

MJ

Love the comparison chart - thanks!

A few things I would add/change:

As MJ said, the Dream has the Midship Detective Agency which is the equivalent for the Muppet Adventure game.

For the clubs - La Piazza is equivalent to Dream's District Lounge and Ooh La La is equivalent to Dream's Pink.

Have we gotten any confirmation yet on O'Gill's? Is it located where 687 is on the Dream? Is it really 18 and over all day?!

I loved the decor on the Fantasy, the lighter colored wood in the lobby/atrium and peacock decor are just beautiful.

Sattelite falls in the adult area was "eh" they made such a big deal out of it before the cruise and I was underwhelmed.

Aqua lab is cool though, as well as the entertainment district changes.

loved teh addition of BBB and how it turned into pirate league for pirate night (changed over at 3:00 pm) way cool.

According to the videos I saw on www.insidethemagic.net, I think there are some differences in Goofy's Sport Deck.
The basketball/volleyball court is bigger in the Fantasy.
From what I see in the videos, I think that miniature golf course has a different distribution. And maybe in the back there is less empty space.
I do not know what it can be, but I see that there is less space between one of the golf course and the wall on the back of that deck. :confused3

I do want to get nitpicky, so thanks for that correction.

Actually, the area on the Fantasy is called Europa. La Piazza is one of the clubs. As noted below the corresponding club ont he Dream is the District Lounge.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Crush show was replaced by the new show.

The Fantasy has the Muppet Adventure as listed in the chart.

The Dream has the Mid-ship Detective Agency (didn't see it on the chart).

Thanks, MJ. Got a PM on that also. Already made the update.

I took guesses on those club comparisons, since reference material I was using wasn't clear on that, so thanks for that.
