How big is the one bedroom vs the studio? We are staying on cash and it is 125.00 more a night for the one bedroom which works out to 800.00 for our stay and trying to figure out if it is worth it....

I'm not sure about the square footage but the studio is similar to a standard hotel room with the addition of a sofa and small kitchenette. The one bedroom has a larger bed in the separate bedroom as well as a huge bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi. It has a full kitchen and living room with a sleeper sofa. You get a lot more space but you have to decide whether it is worth the extra money. If you have kids with you it is nice to have the extra room so you can have a place to go after they go to bed. Either way the Beach Club is a great place to stay. Enjoy!

They both sleep 4, but that's about where the comparison ends...

King-sized bed + queen-sized sofa bed vs. queen-sized bed + full-sized sofa bed
Bed and sofa bed in different rooms vs. right next to each other
Full kitchen vs. kitchenette (microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee pot only)
Washer & Dryer in room vs. no washer & dryer
Jacuzzi tub vs. standard bathtub
2 TVs vs. 1 TV
719 sq ft vs. 356 sq ft

And don't forget about
Standalone shower vs shower tub combination
Two bathroom sinks in different spaces vs one sink

OP, if you are in it for the luxury, go with the one bedroom. If you are trying to save money, go with the studio. But I'd go with a standard hotel room over a studio any day.

We are staying in a one bedroom! Definately worth the comfort for our vacation. Thanks for the help!

Why are there no Villa's that sleep 5 ? they are either for 4 or 8 !! the room for 8 is way too big for us but the room for 4 is too small ! I am thinking the regular room for 5 at the BC is going to work out cheaper then renting points ... If that makes any kind of logic .. UGH why is this so stressful ? LOL .. :confused3

You may want to check Animal Kingdom Villas or Bay Lake Tower. The one-bedroom units there have a sleeper chair that brings the occupancy up to 5.

OKW also has the sleeper chair. The AKV Value villas do not have the sleeper chair because they are too small for one to fit. Same with SSR, VWL, BCV and BWV.

How did you get BCV for $125 per night? Sorry I am still new here.

When staying on points a one bedroom costs around twice than a studio. If you can get the upgrade from studio to one bedroom for 20% more it seems a good deals.

Are you sure the 1 bedrooms are too small? I like them with an aerobed for 5, since we were used to hotel rooms with a cot, there seems to be enough space if you need to save points.

If the PP doesn't want to bring an aerobed, their fifth person is going to be sleeping on the floor. I think they want five real sleeping spaces.
