While reading the newspapers as you do I've come across a free ticket offer which apparently while be put in place from the 2nd of April.

It's like the RATP offer last year where you signed up to the site and got sent by email a free ticket that you could use on your birthday or during a few days around it

If it's like last year and I doubt it will be otherwise it's a entrance ticket only if you sign up for it

These offers are put out there to get visitors into the park who wouldn't normally be there not the die hards I'm afraid

That's great....have just ordered 2 tickets for the birthdays that fall in July, when we're next visiting.

They will be age 16 and 14....I wonder if they will be allowed access on their own?

I'd say why not but I don't know if there's an official rule on it and if it's ever enforced

I see teens going in on their own through the turnstiles everytime I go in the week. You see them in the park and in the Village. And I've travelled up on the RER with teens in the past without parents or adults who were going to the park.

Edit - It's under 12 that are not allowed in the park without an adult, so your two will be fine

It's valid for everyone, says for children under 16

If one of your children at time of registration:

• under 16, you must complete the "Your Information" in your name and save it in the "birthday tickets for your children"

So if you fill in your name and then click on the bit below "Billets anniversaire pour vos enfants" fill in the number of children and it opens up a section where you fill in their details - I've just tried it from the Google translate one in English and it works like this
