DCL & Other Disney Ringtones I created

... I'm an IT guy... and I'm sorta new to the whole apple thing... so I'm like just technically challenged with this stuff.

I can't wait to get home and try this.

Thanks for the ringtones, they are awesome. I just downloaded the Incredibles tune, as its one of my favorite movies.

I recently came across the app called RTArchitect, which lets you make ringtones from your itunes library - by recording part of a song - I thought it was really cool too. it was free when I bought it, not sure if it is now.

Just for the info for others who need more instructions ...(I had a bit of a struggle in the beginning too)...
After you save and import the file to your itunes library, you need to click on your device, and navigate to the tab called 'Tones'. If you have set it to automatically sync all tones, then you have nothing more to do. Otherwise, you need to click on the tone that you just imported(which was showing up for me), and then click on sync. Now, from your phone, go to the ringtone settings, and this should show up at the very top.

Others I've actually had to create seperate MP3 files and edit them. For instance, the raw sound of the DCL announcement chime had a bunch of white noise in it, but I was able to remove that, and then create the ringtone.

MP3 versions:

Announcement Chime (4 sec) great for text tone
DCL Horn (6 sec) great for either text or ringtone
Star Tours Chime (2 sec) great for text tone

For some reason I can't get the Star Tours one - can anyone help me out?

The DCL chime is perfect for a ringtone, but I don't know how to save it.

The others just open a link to Bloomberg news when I hit "download"?

A very cool "ringtone" would be Mickey's wake up call on the ship. I'd love to make that an alarm on my phone. I'm sailing in three weeks. Can you teach me how to capture it and I'll share with everyone upon my return?

When you click on the link and the Bloomberg thing pops up, click "No thanks" right underneath it and then only the download will show up.

Thank you for this! The only problem I have is that DCL chime is so, so quiet. I have other ringtones/text notifications and are loud, I have volume all they way up and I can hardly hear DCL chime when I get email/text...what should I do?
