Your ULTIMATE SURVIVAL GUIDE to Disney World at Christmas Time! UPDATE x2 10/21

Because I know you will appreciate it- we live in MN, and my husband is an engineer. He informed me last week that one of his co-workers is leaving because he got a job at WALT DISNEY WORLD as an engineer/imagineer. I was so jealous- I told DH that he should start applying there- but that is a far reach- he wants to retire in Northern MN- not a warm climate. :confused3

OH MY GOSH what a dream come true. If I was cut out to be an engineer there is no where in the world I would rather want to work! Being an imagineer is probably the coolest thing ever. Ahh. But maybe your husband is just favorable to MN. I guess you'll just have to take lots of Florida vacations

New subscriber over hereeeeee! I lovelove your TR so far! Actually I just saw it yesterday before work and I was so wrapped up in it that I finished it between last night and this morning!
I had lots of things to comment on, but I can only remember a couple:

That timeshare room was horrendous! It looked like something straight out of 1991, and not in a cool retro kind of way :lmao: I went to the "resort's" website, and the pictures they show are NOTHING like what you were stuck in! Did your family ever try to get reimbursed for their points/time for that trip? They should definitely contact their timeshare company to tell them about the condition of the room and your experience with the sketchy employees!

Your mom is 50? As in FIFTY? five.zero. No way..she looks all of 40 to me! She looks awesome and not at all her age!!

T Rex looks like so much fun! We ate at RFC last year and it looks really similar but different obviously, if that makes sense. I love how they have the meteor shower and the ice age room turns different colors, how neat!

So sad about the girl with the belly button piercing! That just makes me sad for her...and it's silly, because she could have easily taken it out, meaning that if they really liked her for the Ariel part they could have said "well we would love to have you as a CM if you are willing to part with your piercing." Simple solution! It just stinks that she lost out on possibly her dream job because of something that she could have changed, given the chance! On the other hand, if someone has a feature that is a deal breaker, I would think they would cut them right off the bat, ya know? Like, why give them the chance to go all through the auditions when they have something that would never fly when it comes down to actually playing the character? Oh well..hopefully she doesn't give up and she makes it through to get the part at some point!

And..I know I had a ton more to say, but I can't recall right now! I'm subscribing though and look forward to reading about the rest of your vacation.

Oh, side note - I see on your count down that you are going to F&G soon, we will be down a few days before you, but our dates cross, so I will be sure to keep an eye out for your deer face  and say hello if our paths cross!

Welcome, welcome! I always love new readers - it's great to have you here! I can't believe you read the whole thing so fast! That's awesome!

Eww I know, right?! And the thing is... I am OBSESSED with the 90's so I mean, usually I appreciate stuff from that decade. .....Not so much here. And you know, we were going to, but we don't use that timeshare enough to have it make a difference. And the transfer fee was only like $100 or $130 so we just let it go. We probably should have informed them of our experience, though. That was just bad.

Aww that's so sweet! :goodvibes I don't think she looks 50, either!

Yeah, T-Rex and Rainforest are owned by the same company so the layout is very similar. But it's like a totally different experience because of the theme! I love it there! If you enjoyed Ranforest Cafe you should definitely check out T-Rex sometime! (I actually like T-Rex's food even better!)

Yeah, it REALLY does stink for her. But the thing is that Disney has HUNDREDS of people coming in for auditions every time, so finding another girl without the belly button piercing wouldn't be hard. It's just one of those terrible situations... because she was RIGHT there. But they're incredibly specific so you have to be prepared for anything when you get there. I just feel really bad for her. But if she got through once, she could probably get through again. At least she knows she looks the part. That's like the hardest thing. It all depends on the day and whether or not they can pick you out from a crowd.

That's okay! I'm glad you'll be here to follow along! It's great to hear such positive feedback!

And ahh really!? That's awesome! Yes, definitely say hello if you see me and Kristen around! We'll just be frumping our way through Disney, as usual! YAY! I hope you have a magical vacation as well!

Pre-Trip Report #2: Updated Plans!
March 25th, 2012

Alright everybody. I feel like it's about time to update this thing. This past week has been CRAZY. I haven't been feeling well at all and found out I had strep throat. :( So between going to classes all day and sleeping during every free moment, I haven't had time to update.

So let's see. First thing's first: TRIP PLANS!

We have figured out a lot of stuff since I posted our Disney trip announcement. And even though Kristen has already posted our plans, I am going to, too. Gotta keep the trip report organized, ya know?

So let's do this!

WHO:
Me, Kristen, Michael (Kristen's Brother), Katie (Michael's Girlfriend), and Dave (Kristen and Michael's Dad)

WHAT:
OUR TRIP TO DISNEY!

WHEN:
Well, this is where it gets interesting.

For Kristen, Michael, Katie, Dave, and I, we are staying from:
May 11th - May 16th, 2012.

But then, I have a special little plan of my own!

Our friend Ellen, her sister Ali, and their parents are going down to Disney for their first time in YEARS! (like... maybe 17-20 years?! And Ellen has never been there!) The thing is... they are arriving ON THE 16TH! (aka the day we planned to leave)

But... there's no way I could go home knowing that I'm leaving RIGHT when they get there!

Sadly, Kristen has to get back for her Spring Play on May 17th.

But my Mom suggested, "why don't you stay a couple extra days?" Bless her soul.

It's my birthday on May 8th, (three days before I arrive!!) so I might as well treat myself a little bit! And seeing Ellen in Disney (for her first time EVER!) would be just unbelievable. She's a wonderful person and she's going to LOVE it. Plus, I met with her sister Ali the other day to tell her about Disney, and I don't think they know what they're getting themselves into! It could be helpful to have a little tour guide there for their first two days! :thumbsup2

Also, my friend Haley from college is going to be in Disney from the 12th-18th, so maybe I can meet up with her too! She's a big Disney food fan. (We have some big plans to get some delicious fudge from the Confectionary!)

So basically, I am extending my stay until MAY 19TH! WOOOHOOOO!

WHERE:
With Kristen, Dave, Michael, and Katie, we are staying at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort in a Two Bedroom Villa! YAYYY!

And then for the three nights after they leave, I am staying at my ALL TIME FAVORITE Moderate Resort - PORT ORLEANS FRENCH QUARTER! :yay:

AHHHH!

And the WHY?:
BECAUSE IT'S DISNEY AND WE WANT TO GO AND I AM SO EXCITED!

So yeah, that's the important stuff.

And oh, you want to hear where we're eating, you say? OKAY!

Day 1:
WE ARRIVE IN DISNEY!!!
No ADR's That Day since we're getting in pretty late.

Day 2:
Crystal Palace Breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch

Day 3:
Le Cellier Lunch
Chef Mickey's Dinner

Day 4:
Teppan Edo Dinner

Day 5:
50's Prime Time Cafe Lunch
Cape May Dinner

Day 6:
T-Rex Lunch

Day 7:
No ADR's Planned (Yet!)

Day 8:
A Little Birthday Treat for Myself - Dine With An Imagineer at The Hollywood Brown Derby!

Day 9:
No ADR's Planned (Yet? - I might not plan any that day anyway)
Leave :( WAHHHH.

Exciting, right!? AHHHHH I CAN'T WAIT! I had a dream about Disney last night and we were on the monorail filming a video. And then I woke up and I was like... Dang, there's still 47 DAYS. And then I thought.... THAT'S REALLY SOON! I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Oh and speaking of Monorails, Kara (MarieTheCat24) told me about these Beaded Monorail Bracelets that she found on Etsy.com... and MINE ARRIVED YESTERDAY! :woohoo:

Here's the link to it: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59338497/beaded-monorail-bracelet?ref=pr_faveitems

But you can't order it right there. You have to message the creator, her name is on the right side of that page. It's Amanda Hinson. She will send you a custom order so you can fill it out. Also, specify what color stripe you want because she can do anything! I just went with the Red because it's classic.

monorailt.jpg

I NEVER WANT TO TAKE THIS BRACELET OFF. IT'S PERFECT!

Alright, so I think that's all I really have to say for now. Thanks for reading along everybody! And I hope you enjoy the upcoming update!

Chapter 22: Back to Epcot!
December 8th, 2011

We drove to Epcot, and basically we had a big 'ol photo shoot when we got there. Everything just looked exceptionally beautiful this night!

dsc0860r.jpg

Photopass Picture!

dsc0861e.jpg

I think it's awesome that Disney reuses the same topiaries from the Flower and Garden Festival and makes them all Christmas-y in December! If you don't go to Disney World at these two contrasting times of year, you would never even notice!

dsc0863m.jpg

img0453ze.jpg

Mother wanted her picture with Thumper and Flower. She loves the Bambi Characters!

dsc0864z.jpg

STITCH! He's so mischievous.

dsc0865i.jpg

Hello, Spaceship Earth. I love you.

dsc0866i.jpg

Seriously, Spaceship Earth is one of the most photogenic things that exist on this planet.

dsc0867lq.jpg

img0442c.jpg

SO PRETTY!

dsc0868v.jpg

We walked in the park and I had to pay my fountain a visit!

dsc0869xr.jpg

Eeeeee it's just my favorite thing in the world!!

dsc0870km.jpg

dsc0871qu.jpg

And I mean, it SMELLS like DISNEY WATER!! I just can't get enough. And yes, I am smelling it in the picture below:

dsc0872q.jpg

I'm a frump. Don't judge me.

Okay, you might be judging. It's okay. I know I'm insane. It's fine. :-)

dsc0873v.jpg

We made our way to World Showcase once again. My Mom just loves how this angel is holding the whole world in its hands. Apparently Lia's Mom pointed that out to her the night before and my Mom thought that was the most wonderful thing. How precious.

dsc0874o.jpg

O CHRISTMAS TREE!

dsc0875s.jpg

They already took the middle of the tarp down from the Canada building! Geez, that's a lot of progress for one day!

dsc0876b.jpg

While we were walking through Canada, we overheard this African American family having an argument. I think they were all getting very tired. And the Mom goes to the daughter “YOU’RE ROLLIN’ YOUR EYES AND STICKIN’ YOUR LIP OUT FOR NO REASON!” hahaha oh my gosh. Just the way she said it made my Mom and I laugh and laugh for the rest of our walk.

Can you guess where we were going to dinner…?

Chapter 23: A Dinner in France!
December 8th, 2011

If you guessed Les Chefs de France, you were correct!

dsc0880m.jpg

We had an 8:10 pm reservation... but I mean, it was only 6:30 pm and we were HUNGRY. So we went and checked in anyways.

dsc0881r.jpg

It took about 25-30 minutes for them to seat us... but we didn't mind because we really didn't have anything better to do.

It was really cold that night, so I spent the majority of our wait standing by the beautiful heat lamps. They were absolutely wonderful. And yes, I took a picture of the Disney heat lamps. I am a special case, that's for sure.

dsc0882j.jpg

We were finally called in and brought to our table.

dsc0883e.jpg

I have to say that I was slightly disappointed with the lack of attractive waiters that night. I mean, there were a few but just not enough to go around. Maybe my expectations were just too high. I don't know.

We ended up getting a waitress. GO FIGURE.

Eh, whatever. At least I got to eat food.

They gave us some bread at the beginning of the meal:

dsc0886tb.jpg

I ordered the Lobster Bisque to start out, which is extremely delicious. It's so creamy and has a very good flavor. If you're a lobster bisque fan, you're DEFINITELY going to want to try the one at Chefs de France.

dsc0887xs.jpg

Mom started off with a house salad, which she enjoyed. The woman likes her salads.

dsc0885oh.jpg

For my dinner I got Gratin de Macaroni. YUM, YUM, YUMMMM. Okay, I feel like this dish is a hit or miss with people because it has a very different texture and flavor than regular macaroni and cheese. But in my case, I absolutely loved it. It was very hot, fresh, and delicious. You can tell that they JUST made it. It has a hint of nutmeg in there that you will taste, and the cheese doesn't taste like typical cheese. It's an interesting concept. But DANG, IT'S GOOD. I loved it. It's also VERY filling! Be warned. It's probably the heaviest meal on the menu, but I was starving so whatever. SO WORTH IT.

dsc0889v.jpg

Mom got the Salmon, which she liked a lot. I got that dish on our April trip and I remember it being really good! The presentation is different now, though. Interesting!

dsc0890r.jpg

The restaurant was super crowded that night, but we noticed that it wasn't really all that noisy! That's always a wonderful thing.

When they brought out our dessert, they sang Happy Birthday to my Mom!

Aww look at Mother, she's doing her princess/queen hand gesture. I can picture her being like "Oh, thank you."

dsc0891ct.jpg

YAY FOR BIRTHDAYS!

dsc0892u.jpg

Mom got the Chocolate Mousse cake for dessert. It was good, but not the best cake I have ever had. I probably wouldn't get it again, but I'm glad we tried it.

dsc0894d.jpg

For my dessert I got the Profiterols au Chocolat which were really tasty! They weren't what I was expecting, though. I was expecting them to be more like fried dough... but the dough was a little thicker than that. And since it was cold from the Ice Cream it was a weird frozen cake-like texture. But I still liked them! I would get those again.

dsc0893h.jpg

So we finished up and tried to figure out what we wanted to do next.

But we were SOOOO tired by the end of the meal that we just couldn't possibly do anything else.

So on our last night... WE WENT BACK TO THE HOTEL ROOM! *gasp*

I know, I know. We're super lame. But we just got to a point where we needed rest. We jammed so much in to those few days that we were just crashing. Plus we knew we were coming back, so we weren't under a lot of pressure to get a lot done.

We left Epcot around 8:45 pm, even though it wasn't closing until 9:30 pm. We had to take a few more pictures on our way out!

STITCH!

dsc0896v.jpg

dsc0897o.jpg

IT'S BAMBI! HE'S A DEER!

dsc0898q.jpg

I'm a deer, too. :-)

dsc0900f.jpg

Here's Mom and Bambi:

dsc0899f.jpg

They had these snowflakes projected on the sidewalk and the monorail track. I was very intrigued by them.

dsc0901x.jpg

More topiary pictures! I just can't get enough of these!

dsc0902q.jpg

dsc0905j.jpg

SO. SO. SO. SO. SO. SO. PRETTY.

dsc0903j.jpg

Spaceship Earth at night is one of my favorite things.

dsc0904y.jpg

We drove back to the room and I just laid in bed and watched Stacey. I did some tweeting, texting, and journaling. And before I knew it, I was asleep. I had to be ready for our last morning in Disney!

Ok so I am finally commenting again! Woohoo!

Oooh an extended stay sounds so much better! I am very jealous you get to go to WDW with your friends, I'd love to do that but unfortunately coming from the UK is a little more expensive! Haha.

Your ADRs are making me so hungry! I am very much looking forward to your reviews! On your recommendations I made our ADRs the other day :) We've got a lunch at Sanaa, breakfasts at CP and Cape May and then dinner at Teppan Edo, plus a T-Rex dinner at some point too but we haven't decided when yet! I am very very excited :)

We're nearly birthday buddies too, mine is May 9th! I wish I could be in WDW for my birthday, one day it'll happen!

I saw your bracelet on instagram last night, it's absolutely amazing! I love it a little too much!

Epcot looks amazing all decorated for christmas! I love it! And you're not alone, I definitely smell Disney water, (and love love love that smell when you get off the plane at MCO too!) Disney definitely has an amazing smell, I love it!! I wish you could bottle it and buy it!

That chocolate cake looks amazing! I don't blame you for going back to the hotel, that food looks amazing but so filling!

Apologies my comments have been a bit here and there! Can't wait for the next instalment!

LOL

I fell seriously behind on your TR in the weeks before our trip. Now, I've read your most recent updates, and I went back to read your audition update.

That was a super interesting read. I am super proud of you for doing the audition in the first place. I am sure there are so many of us Disers that would just jump for joy at the prospect of being chosen as a CM.

I also loved the perception of the locals who viewed being a CM as more of a "job" than an opportunity. I guess I can kind of see why they think that way.

I love that you are getting to stay at POFQ for a few days during your next visit. That is where we stayed on this last trip - and since it was our first official on property resort stay, I just have to say that my girls and I think that we never want to stay at another resort ever again. It was just so wonderful and homey feeling. Honestly, my favorite day was when I woke super early and went for a stroll around the grounds - the sun hadn't even come up yet, and I took tons of pictures. It was just amazing and wonderful. There is nothing better than having your resort to yourself. :lovestruc

It sounds like you have some really awesome ADRs planned for your next trip, as well. Some of our favorites... Especially CP and LTT... Num! I love that LTT doesn't seem to taste like the rest of WDW food - I am not sure what it is? Otherwise, maybe I just didn't leave my comfort zone enough? LOL After 10 days though, everything started to taste the same. :confused3 I've decided that on our next trip - we really need to branch out even more.

Oh, and one last thing... You share a birthday with my youngest dd. :lovestruc

Looking forward to hearing all about the rest of your trip!

D~

Ahhh! How exciting that you are staying until the 19th! AND you're doing the dinner with an Imagineer! I can already tell this is going to be another AMAZING TR!! :woohoo:

I love your Epcot pictures! Absolutely gorgeous! I never noticed that about the angel holding the world before...beautiful! :lovestruc

HAHA I remember those Chefs de France heat lamps very well from our December 2010 trip! They were life savers!

Yummm more amazing food pictures! Oh my gosh that mac and cheese... I WANT IT.

Hahahaha "I'm a deer too." I love it! :rotfl:

I love the pictures of SE with Bambi! Gorgeous!

I love love your bracelet....it's so perfect and will be awesome to wear on your next trip.

You guys got some amazing ADR's for your upcoming trip...are any of them new to you?

Ahhh how exciting that you got to add an additional three days to your trip, and that is soooo awesome that you're doing the dine with an imagineer...what could be more perfect!

I'm seriously in Awe of the night pictures your camera takes...it captured everything perfectly.

I love the topary pictures...you guys look like you're having so much fun.

I guessed you were off to Chefs before I read the post so yay...and I agree with you that the macaroni was delicious but I could literally only eat about a third of it it's soooo good but sooo rich lol.

Can't wait to hear more!

I love Chefs de France! One of my favorites for sure. It's always a good meal. Sad that the cute waiters seemed to be lacking though. That's never a good thing.

I love your mom's princess hand pose. She looks so cute!

Happy that you're extending your trip through the 19th. I am always looking for ways to make my trips longer too! Because come on, who doesn't need more days in Disney?!

Hi! I haven't posted on the Dis in over a month but I have still been reading your trip report!

My family was at EPCOT on December 8th too, but not at night, just during the day! So let's see we were at MK and EPCOT on the same days but at different times:laughing:The pasta you got at your dinner looks amazing!

So exciting that you're going again so soon! I think Im in the single digits for my next trip now but Im not sure, I just knoe it's under 3 months!:cool1: (So yeah, that is def single digits)

The audition process sounds insane! I guess you do need to have the right look though to keep up the magic at Disney. It's a bummer that you didn't get picked but Im sure you'll get a chance to work at Disney someday since you seem so determined to! I'm so glad that everything is working out at your new college for you!

BTW, I saw that you're staying at Saratoga Springs for the May trip, have you stayed there before? I've stayed there twice now and LOVE it! You know what...I feel like I read a TR of yours when you stayed there but correct me if Im wrong. I don't wanna go on about it though if you've stayed there before:laughing:

Also, that bracelet is adorable! I like your decision to have gone with a red stripe, the red stripe just screams WDW monorail!

Hi! I just read through your whole report so far, very fun and entertaining! I love how much you love Disney, its awesome! I hope my kids are like you. My DH and I were CM's in the past, and DH was actually Goofy part time so if you have any questions let me know! I am usually just a lurker but I had to pop in here and ask where you got that Little Mermaid sweatshirt you were wearing the first day, I am IN LOVE with it! :goodvibes
I think I will have to check out the rest of your reports now, got to see whats going on with these "Frumps" lol popcorn::

Ok so I am finally commenting again! Woohoo!

Hooray! Welcome back!

Oooh an extended stay sounds so much better! I am very jealous you get to go to WDW with your friends, I'd love to do that but unfortunately coming from the UK is a little more expensive! Haha

Haha it really surprises me how many times it has worked out already! I think the thing is that Kristen and I are equally obsessed, so we make it a priority to go to Disney together. I mean, that's the main reason we work.... Gotta make money for Disney! But yeah, coming from the UK would be really tricky! We're lucky because there's a direct flight that's pretty reasonable from where we live... so that saves a lot!

Your ADRs are making me so hungry! I am very much looking forward to your reviews! On your recommendations I made our ADRs the other day. We've got a lunch at Sanaa, breakfasts at CP and Cape May and then dinner at Teppan Edo, plus a T-Rex dinner at some point too but we haven't decided when yet! I am very very excited

I'm so glad you're looking forward to them! And AHHH YAY that's absolutely wonderful! You will love all of those!

We're nearly birthday buddies too, mine is May 9th! I wish I could be in WDW for my birthday, one day it'll happen!

Oh my gosh really!?! YAY FOR MAY BIRTHDAYS! Someday you'll get to Disney for your birthday - I'm sure of it!

I saw your bracelet on instagram last night, it's absolutely amazing! I love it a little too much!

Aww thank you! I'm so glad you like it! Am I following you back on Instagram? What's your username?

Epcot looks amazing all decorated for christmas! I love it! And you're not alone, I definitely smell Disney water, (and love love love that smell when you get off the plane at MCO too!) Disney definitely has an amazing smell, I love it!! I wish you could bottle it and buy it!

It was so beautiful! Hahaha omg I love the Disney water and the MCO smell, too! AH WE'RE THE SAME! Disney smells are just perfect. :goodvibes

That chocolate cake looks amazing! I don't blame you for going back to the hotel, that food looks amazing but so filling!

Hahaha after consuming that much food it was time for a good night's sleep! :rotfl:

Apologies my comments have been a bit here and there! Can't wait for the next instalment!

Oh my gosh, don't apologize! I kept up fine! I'm glad you're still reading along and enjoyng! Thanks for being here!

LOL

I fell seriously behind on your TR in the weeks before our trip. Now, I've read your most recent updates, and I went back to read your audition update.

Haha well, welcome back!

That was a super interesting read. I am super proud of you for doing the audition in the first place. I am sure there are so many of us Disers that would just jump for joy at the prospect of being chosen as a CM.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed hearing about it! And aw thank you. I hope to continue auditioning more in the future... especially once I graduate college. And oh my gosh, absolutely. Working at Disney is my dream!

I also loved the perception of the locals who viewed being a CM as more of a "job" than an opportunity. I guess I can kind of see why they think that way.

Yeah, I never really thought of it that way but then once I was talking to those kids I saw where they were coming from. I don't agree with it, obviously, because being a character is not just a job to me. But from their standpoint it may seem that way.

I love that you are getting to stay at POFQ for a few days during your next visit. That is where we stayed on this last trip - and since it was our first official on property resort stay, I just have to say that my girls and I think that we never want to stay at another resort ever again. There is nothing better than having your resort to yourself. :lovestruc

ME TOO! It's my absolute favorite! Aww I'm so glad you guys loved it so much! And that morning sounds like pure bliss! Ahhh I can't wait to go. We stayed there for a few days at the beginning of my Christmas Trip (it's coming up within the next few updates!) so you'll get to read even more about it!

I've decided that on our next trip - we really need to branch out even more.

I'm SO excited. And yeah, CP and LTT in THE SAME DAY! Crazy, right? I absolutely love LTT's food even though it's the type of stuff you can get at home. But it's Disney food nonetheless so it tastes better to me, of course. And branching out is SUCH a good idea. Because I always went to the same restaurants over and over from the time I was born until I was 16. Then finally I decided to try new ones and DISNEY FOOD IS MY OBSESSION! There is sooo much out there to try!

Oh, and one last thing... You share a birthday with my youngest dd. :lovestruc

Awwww really!?! That's so cute! May 8th is a wonderful day! :goodvibes

Looking forward to hearing all about the rest of your trip!

Thank you for being here!

D~

Ahhh! How exciting that you are staying until the 19th! AND you're doing the dinner with an Imagineer! I can already tell this is going to be another AMAZING TR!!

WOOHOO! Yeah I have been wanting to do that forever, so my Mom said I might as well just do it for my birthday present! So YAY! I'm really excited!

I love your Epcot pictures! Absolutely gorgeous! I never noticed that about the angel holding the world before...beautiful! :lovestruc

Thank you! And yeah that's a really beautiful detail they added in there!

HAHA I remember those Chefs de France heat lamps very well from our December 2010 trip! They were life savers!

Hahaha but really. Thank goodness they existed or I would have frozen!

Yummm more amazing food pictures! Oh my gosh that mac and cheese... I WANT IT.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THAT MAC AND CHEESE.

Hahahaha "I'm a deer too." I love it! :rotfl:

Hehe :-) I'm a frump.

I love the pictures of SE with Bambi! Gorgeous!

Thank you! My camera decided to cooperate that night so I was very excited!

I love love your bracelet....it's so perfect and will be awesome to wear on your next trip.

Thank you! And oh, absolutely! I don't think I'm going to take it off until then! :rotfl:

You guys got some amazing ADR's for your upcoming trip...are any of them new to you?

Thanks! And no I think I have been to them all! Maybe I'll try some new foods..? (Or maybe I'll still get the old favorites. We will see!)

Ahhh how exciting that you got to add an additional three days to your trip, and that is soooo awesome that you're doing the dine with an imagineer...what could be more perfect!

I know, I'm SUPER excited! And yes, that'll be absolutely wonderful! I'm really looking forward to that experience!

I'm seriously in Awe of the night pictures your camera takes...it captured everything perfectly.

Aww thank you so much! I was really shocked that they came out so good, actually. They look so magical!

I love the topary pictures...you guys look like you're having so much fun.

Thank you! Lol we definitely were!

I guessed you were off to Chefs before I read the post so yay...and I agree with you that the macaroni was delicious but I could literally only eat about a third of it it's soooo good but sooo rich lol.

Yay! Good guessing! And oh yeah, it's VERY rich. But the moment I get it I am just like... YUMMMM and I devour way too much way too fast. :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear more!

Thanks for reading!

Me too! It's absolutely delicious! And haha I know, right!? How unfortunate.

LOL my Mother is precious. :p I think Cinderella taught her that hand gesture many years ago and she still does it in Disney because she's "the queen."

I'm super happy too! And oh my gosh, I know. I always want to stay as long as I possibly can!

Hi! I haven't posted on the Dis in over a month but I have still been reading your trip report!

YAY I'm glad you're still here! Welcome back!

My family was at EPCOT on December 8th too, but not at night, just during the day! So let's see we were at MK and EPCOT on the same days but at different times:laughing:The pasta you got at your dinner looks amazing!

Haha were you really? Wow, we were just missing each other! Mmmmm that pasta was heavenly!!

So exciting that you're going again so soon! I think Im in the single digits for my next trip now but Im not sure, I just knoe it's under 3 months!:cool1: (So yeah, that is def single digits)

I can't wait!!! And lol I think three months would be double digits  But still... that's VERY soon!

The audition process sounds insane! I guess you do need to have the right look though to keep up the magic at Disney. It's a bummer that you didn't get picked but Im sure you'll get a chance to work at Disney someday since you seem so determined to! I'm so glad that everything is working out at your new college for you!

It was definitely experience! And yeah, you do. I mean, they put a TON of make up on you and dress you up perfectly, but the basics have to be there. But yeah, I don't think it was the right time for me to pick up and move to Florida. But one day I will definitely work there! And aww thank you! Yes everything is going WONDERFULLY! I'm so happy! :-)

Yes I am! And yes I have stayed there... two times I think? During my freshman and sophomore years of high school. So it has definitely been a while. I didn't even write trip reports back then! But if you have any good tips about the resort I'd love to hear them to refresh my memory!

Also, that bracelet is adorable! I like your decision to have gone with a red stripe, the red stripe just screams WDW monorail!

Thank you! And haha yeah I was gonna get a different one but I just think the Red is so classic! Then people will be more likely to recognize what it is. :p

Boo to no cute waiters :rotfl: but I'm glad you enjoyed your meal! :thumbsup2

What a beautiful night at Epcot!:lovestruc

I know, right!? Thank goodness the food was fantastic!

It really was!

Aww thank you so much for the nice compliments! I'm sure your kids will love Disney as they grow older, too!

OH MY GOSH you were both CM's!? Did you meet in Disney or did you know each other before? And aww wow, that's AWESOME that he was Goofy! One of the kids who went to my school is actually on his College Program right now being Goofy! That's awesome. What type of CM position did you have?

Thank you for commenting, it's great to hear from you! And I got my Little Mermaid Sweatshirt from Forever 21... but they don't have it anymore :( They always take the Disney sweatshirts off the shelves really fast after releasing them. But hopefully they'll have them again someday... I love that shirt!

Haha aww I hope you enjoy the other reports! Thank you so much for reading!

Spaceship Earth is the most beautiful thing in the whole world! You took some great photos!!! OOOH, I wanna try Chefs soooooooooo bad!!!!!!! Your food looked DELICIOUS! :lovestruc

Yayyyyy for more time in Disney!!! :cool1: How lucky you are that you are able to get away to do that!!! Ugh, I want to go at Christmas time next year with my mom SO bad, but with basketball I HAVE NO TIME!!!! :sad2: Oh well, hopefully this summer!! ;)

I *love* Chefs de France! That macaroni and cheese is to die for. But I gotta say...I'd be disappointed too if I didn't have one of those cute French waiters. They're part of the experience at Chefs!

LOVE all your Epcot photos! Such a beautiful area and yes so photogenic!

Food looked O so yum, and I now need something sweet to ease my tooth!

I can now be more vocal about all the lovely Christmas decor, since I spilled the beans on our Nov trip and started my PTR. I can not wait to see what all you have been showing!
