Used an awesome National code for my April trip!

We used the code the for our Feb 18-25th trip with no problem...I think. We booked as Emerald Club members and were able to go right to the aisle and pick our vehicle. (A Kia Sportage with 6,000 miles) Upon returning the vehicle, for some reason the garage person couldn't give us a receipt so they said it would be emailed it to us but we still haven't gotten one. When I log into our EA acct online and pull up the details for that rental it shows that we paid the quoted price of $221.xx but that the total was $423.xx with a balance due of $202.xx, yet our credit card was only charged $221.xx on the day we returned and it was manually entered. The difference seems to be all the "included" extras. No other charges have been run on our CC since then so I guess its ok.

Same here. I got a minivan from the Emerald Aisle for 3/13 to 3/20. I DID get a receipt from the garage person for the $204 that I expected. The email receipt that was sent to me was much like yours. It showed the quoted price of $204 with a balance due of approximately the same amount. My Amex was charged only the $204. I sent a question to National by email to make sure there would be no additional charge and was told that the $204 was correctly charged to me and there would be no more charges.

What is the most convenient car rental place at the Orlando airport? We aren't using ME this trip because we are doing the beach and SeaWorld before Disney. We thought of Budget and dropping it off at the hotel near DTD but it cost more for 3 days than a week if we drop it back at the airport. The last time we rented, we had to take a shuttle and it took forever to rent the car. Are any right in the Airport?

I cancelled my previous reissue with National using this code and booked Budget Wendie code. Even tho I booked a compact vs Emerald aIsle, the reports after using this code scared me!!!! Plus Budget is cheaper

I've had "charges" for upgrades on the executive aisle. National immediately handled the issue and I've never had them, refuse to honor a quote.

Are you an Emerald Club member? A previous post mentioned that the amount owing was showing when they pulled up the rental online - I'm wondering if it gets zeroed out at some point??

I am an EC member and checking it online reflects the same amount owed as the e-mail receipt. It's still showing the same online now and it's been almost two weeks. No extra charge on my credit card yet and I have the e-mail from National that says I won't be charged so I'm not that worried about it anymore.

I just booked used the same code for a week in October at MCO. $203, approximately the same rate I just had for a midsize for a week. I'm hoping that the National rates will be lower by then but if not, I have this reservation.

I definitely would keep checking that Oct. reservation. It could drop dramatically by then. Oct. is NOT a heavy travel month and there are usually some great deals to be had.

I just love to pick the car I want to drive..... The thought of Budget picking it was bothering me

We picked up a car from Orlando on the Emerald Aisle using this code on Saturday, March 25th. Our receipt they gave us when we checked out at the airport shows the same price as our online reservation - so I think we're good to go. I had a copy of my flying blue membership - no one asked to see it, though. I only had to show my emerald club card, and my drivers license.

I reserved and received a minivan using this code with no issues on Saturday, April 7th. We picked a minivan, loaded our luggage, drove up to the exit booth, added a driver and drove off.

I have read it was hard to cancel these ressies so I was holding off. I checked today and the rates are up $50 for the week 5/5-5/12.(from $176 to $225) Ouch!!!..I snooze -I lose. Hopefully they will go back down or I will need to try something else.

We are using MME so we are not renting at MCO. Any help would be appreciated.
