This trip was myself, Jamie, and the kids, Tristan (14) and Madison (12). We decided to give the quick service dining plan a try. Every prior trip we've done the regular plan, so this was new to us. And we were excited! I was SO happy to not be tied to ADR's. It honestly made the trip so much more less hectic and 'scheduled'.
Our dates were Dec 9-18 and we stayed at Pop Century.
The reviews will more than likely be in no particular order. I know it's only been a few months but I honestly don't remember what we did on what day lol Hence I never did finish my trip report :rolleyes1

So, to start off with, I think we'll start at our most favorite place to burn through all those snack credits-
Karamell-Kuche located in Germany at Epcot. We stopped her 2 or 3 times. Nothing disappointed!
Chocolate cookie filled with caramel and drizzled with it too (1 snack credit)

This was moist, and just delish! I don't believe it ever got finished though. It was huge. We snacked on it over several days.

Vanilla cupcake drizzled in caramel (1 snack credit)

This was ok. We are spoiled by a local place that makes amazing cupcakes (Smallcakes for any of you in the KC area).

Caramel Corn (1 snack credit)

Oh SO good! This also lasted us, actually it lasted us ALL week lol Never got stale.

Milk chocolate covered strawberry drizzled in...caramel of course! (1 snack credit)

This was very fresh!

And a couple of pics of the cases in the shop

I do remember this next meal was our arrival night. We were staying at Pop and our package with the dining plan did not start until the next day. I posted this pic on my Facebook wall and noted how much it cost and people were SHOCKED LOL I know it was around $30 but the exact amount escapes me.
2 angus bacon cheeseburgers ($8.69 each), cheese fries ($3.49 each) and 2 fountain drinks ($2.50 each).

It was good. Of course anything taste good after an evening of travelling.

Next up is the food court at Pop Century again.
Nachos. We LOVE nachos. We ate them a lot And i'm glad that on day 2 the lady at the counter let me know that the nachos with just cheese are actually a snack credit. This first time we got them we used 3 counter service credits since we didn't know.
So up first is *my nachos. I love them loaded, the more toppings the better :thumbsup2 $7.29

Messy and good, just the way they should be! I had beef, beans, black olives, onions, tomatoes, cheese, guac, sour cream...I think that's all?!
And the kids each had plain nachos with cheese (can't find the price)

409110_2744285082513_1119065259_32936708_1686157877_n.jpg

They loved them. They ate them probably 5 times over the course of the week. I wont make you look at the same pic 5 more times though
And since we used CS credits, that means dessert!

Madi chose the Mickey cookie and cream cupcake...she ate every last bit of it and enjoyed it immensely $3.59

374615_2744285482523_1119065259_32936710_1470780320_n.jpg

I had the chocolate cake. I don't know why I waste my desserts on these little cakes, I never really like them. Too sweet, too dry, too much icing (yes, it's possible) $3.59

408355_2744285922534_1119065259_32936712_777902565_n.jpg

And Tristan got a fruit cup. We had a lot of fruit cups this week. The kids threw most of the cantaloupe out though because they remembered the news story about people getting sick and dying from eating it $3.39

It all looks so good...except the little cake with too much icing! lol We have had the chocolate cookie with caramel too...they are to die for! I want to try that caramel corn next time we go! Great report Jamie! :thumbsup2

Thanks for joining in Jaime :thumbsup2 The caramel corn is sooooo good! You do have to ask for it, they don't have it out on display. Well, they have bagged caramel corn out, but it's not this fresh made stuff.

Next up is some snacks from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! We were lucky enough to attend the Disboards own DisApalooza! It was fun and just amazing to get to tour WWoHP without all the crowds

First up....Butterbeer! Drinks were free (non alcoholic ones) so i'm not sure the prices.

This was quite good! Really good! Too sweet to finish however.

Next up was Pumpkin juice

400506_2744287922584_1119065259_32936718_795621528_n.jpg

Was like drinking pumpkin pie :lovestruc

Tristan had to have a chocolate frog from Honeydukes Candy shop

399535_2744287282568_1119065259_32936717_860338397_n.jpg

It took him all week to finish this HUGE hunk of yumminess :goodvibes

My treat...fudge from Honeydukes...butter pecan fudge :worship:

390715_2744288562600_1119065259_32936720_497414629_n.jpg

It was good, rich, lasted for days!

And finally, a rat lolly from Honeydukes

384725_2744288882608_1119065259_32936721_1913156562_n.jpg

I assume it was good, it got ate, fast

We also bought a box of salt water taffy, tasted like pretty much every other salt water taffy. We'd throw some in our day bag each day to snack on.

Oh, good to know. Thank you!

So we were at WWoHP until midnight, so the next morning we slept in. We headed to the Pop food court for 'brunch'. We were there around 11am so some breakfast was still available.
Madi decided to go for breakfast. She had the Mickey waffles, no syrup, just whipped cream. It also came with bacon (not pictured) $5.69
399290_2744289162615_1119065259_32936722_633802136_n.jpg

The waffles were fresh, warm and tasted so good!

And for her dessert, a cinnamon roll $3.19
381523_2744289602626_1119065259_32936723_1115087825_n.jpg

It had a good flavor but was quite dry. Most of it hit the trash, unfortunately.

Tristan and I both decided on lunch foods.
He had the bacon cheeseburger (removed the bacon) and fries $9.29 and a fruit cup for dessert $3.29
407430_2744289882633_1119065259_32936724_425134570_n.jpg

He loves Disney burgers, so this was good in his opinion. He ate every bit of it.

I had the spinach stuffed calzone and salad. It was around $9
398427_2744290882658_1119065259_32936727_737991110_n.jpg

The calzone was good but quite big. I couldn't finish the whole thing. The salad was your basic salad.

And my dessert was a tie dye cheesecake $3.59
409421_2744291202666_1119065259_32936728_847563694_n.jpg

No complaints, only ate a bit of it though as I was already quite full ;)

Enjoying your reviews.

We too will be using QS dining this June and I am excited not to be tied down to the ADR's just like you were. Glad to hear it made the trip less hectic.

And that chocolate caramel cookie looks amazing....Need to try that one.

thanks for your reviews and photos...I LOVE to see the photos of food...
We are going to Pop in May also and look forward to staying there with our kids ..their spouses and grandkids...
The nachoes looked great..

thanks again

Enjoying your QSDP review! I'm just finishing up mine (from October);) I have 1.5 more days to post. Can't wait to read more.

Yay another QSDP Dining Report! DH does not like being tied to ADRs so if they offer free qsdp at the values when we go we will be sticking with the qsdp instead of upgrading.

That spinach calzone with salad looked good. So did that mickey cupcake.

Hi guys :goodvibes Sorry for the lack of updates!!! So lets get back to it!
Judging by my pics, we headed to Magic Kingdom after 'brunch' at Pop. We stopped for dinner at Pecos Bills. I just love this place. Love the toppings bar, okay, really I just love any where that has a cheese dispenser :worship:
I decided on the taco salad
400158_2744291482673_1119065259_32936729_325159094_n.jpg

It was ok. I might or might not get it again. It wasn't memorable, even with all that yummy cheese.

Both kids ordered the regular cheeseburger. They finished everything so it must've been good.

Dessert...more of the WAY too sweet cake. This time we had carrot and chocolate.
383055_2744292202691_1119065259_32936731_848065385_n.jpg

While waiting for the electric parade to start, we couldn't resist popping into the bakery for some snacks ;)
We got a Christmas tree cupcake and a cinnamon roll. I was worried about the cinnamon roll because it seems to get a LOT of negative reviews. Well, mine was a fresh one, so maybe that made a difference? It was SO good! Warm, gooey, sticky yumminess :lovestruc I didn't try the cupcake but Madi seemed to be enjoying it quite a bit.

Was that icing on that Christmas tree cupcake? Wow!!!

I love the cinnamon rolls from Main Street Bakery.
