DIS Divas, Take Two & Tyler....WooHoo!! COMPLETED!...OVER 1400 PICS!!

I love the pics of the Ariel Ride. I wish WDW had that ride

The pink trees with pink shirts like others have said, makes for a gorgeous photo

That scavenger hunt looks like a blast. That is so cool Disneyland lets you ladies do that.

Great costumes

Love how everyone got certificates with their pics. I can't even imagine all the work that goes into the scavenger hunt :goodvibes

I thought WDW had an Ariel ride of some sorts?? :confused3

Love the pink trees......early spring is really beautiful in the parks. The shirt was just a bonus!!

There was actually another scavy hunt going on that day too!!!

Each team comes up with their name, costumes & signs/lanyards/name tags.

The scavy hunt meets a number of times through out the year to put together this hunt. It's full of trivia, locating where pics were taken, collecting items & puzzles.....a great mix!! They also do a great job!!!

Oh, ok.....wasn't sure what it was....guess I just thought it was a ride simular to our new one......lol

It was so funny, 3 of the teams had the same hats & 2 of those teams had the same bubble pipes....... :lmao: Guess there isn't a ton of spy stuff out there.....lol

Those suitcases are fancy.

They're really awesome huh?? Trudi did a great job on them....she's very crafty!!

Laurie the others are right the pics of you and Trudi with those trees are just beautiful!! I took a few pics of those trees as well cuz they were SO pretty!

The group pic turned out awesome and the scavy hunt looked like lots of fun!!

And maybe you are thinking about the nemo ride at epcot? It is similar to Aerial in that you ride in clam shells and it is very similiar except it is about Nemo of course LOL. The ride itself has a lot of the same stuff as the sub ride at DL.

But the other poster was right they do have the Little Mermaid show at Hollywood Studios but I thought I heard they were making a similiar Little Mermaid ride at DW. Perhaps in the new Fantasyland??

As always looking forward to the next installment! :)

Thanx Kelly!! I need to find out if Trudi had her photopass card scanned for those pics.......if not, I need to send them to her. They really did come out nice!!

I think you may be right.....I think I'm confusing the Nemo ride & the new Fantasyland stuff.....I think they're putting in a Little Mermaid ride.

I love you all in your pink shirts. I am not one for doing the scavenger hunts but I imagine its fun to watch.

Melody picked a pretty pink for the shirts!! I just wish it had been the unisex shirts.....women's tees always have the shorter sleeves (and I'm not a fan of my arms).

I did the scavy hunt the first year, but didn't this time. I enjoyed going around and getting pics of the teams as they prepared.

I agree about the sleeve lengths, they are also more comfortable that length.

I can imagine it is crazy to do them.

The team has to stay together the whole time....so if someone needs to use the restroom....everyone has to stop and wait with them. If someone wants a drink, they all need to go in the line together. No use of cell phones (which makes sense) I just felt with my fibro, it would be best to pass on doing this......when I start to hurt...I have to stop & didn't want to hold anybody up.

Last year, I worked on the puzzles.....I ran through Disneyland with my head down working on them......my teammates were looking for I Spy items, collecting requested items, etc.

The problem was, I had a panic attack that morning....so I was pretty worn out.....unfortunately a few hours into this....I had to quit. I met my team at the finish line.

They tried to match team mates up by how they thought they'd do the scavy hunt: Runners, Walkers and in-between. I think this was a smart idea.

The committee does a wonderful job in having a good mix of pictures, puzzles, trivia, etc.

Yeah, I would totally pass up doing it. I just know I would slow everyone down. But, I know it looks like they all had fun together.

I loved the pink shirts. I had to do it today because it was my school's battle of the sexes rally. Here's all about it:

Today was my school's battle of the sexes rally. The boys were seated on one side of the gym and the girls were seated on the other side of the gym. Our hosts were my friend Nikki and Robert. They both did a good job hosting it. Like I said above, the boys were to were blue and the girls were to wear pink. I, of course wore pink.

Once everyone got seated, it was time for the National Anthem. It was sung by my school's choir. I couldn't hear most of it since they didn't have a microphone. After the national anthem, my school's dance team and the "man dance team" performed. Also performing were the cheerleaders, the salsa team and my school's How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying Cast.

I was cheering alot which many of my school's student council people really happy. Every now and again, Robert and Nikki would make us cheer. They would ask the audience who had more spirit. The boys started cheering. It sounded like they were at the Super Bowl. Right after that, Nikki did the exact thing. Obviously, the girls had more spirit. I joined in with many of the other girls. It sounded like we were on Rockin Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

One of the games was finish that tune. One of the songs that the girls got was Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl. I think that song would be appropriate for the line on California Screamin. They would play one part of the song and you had to sing the rest. Even I sang along which is funny because I'm not a huge fan of Katy Perry.

Toward of the end of the rally, one of the boys decided to go crowd surfing :scared1: I had never seen anything like this before. Because of this, the rally ended  We were running out of time anyway which would then be lunch.

Basically, I really enjoyed the rally although we didn't get the results yet.

That sounds awesome Kaitlin!! What a fun rally!!! I would have loved to have been there to watch it......I remember our pep rally's and always thought they were a lot of fun!! I love that all the girls wore pink and the boys wore blue...... :woohoo: Are you having a spirit week at school?? We used to have a whole week where all the classes would compete against each other (freshman, sophmore, junior & senior).....that was always fun because we would have dress up days!!

Thanx for sharing that with me.......sounds like a lot of fun!!!!

Yes we are having a spirit week this week. We had the class competition rally in October. Our class colors are the following:

freshmen- blue
sophomores- orange
juniors- purple
seniors- yellow

Oh Kaitlin!! I wish I had known you were in the park on the 24th!!!!! Rats! I would have loved to meet you in person!!! Did you see any of our purple shirted Divas that day???

No, I never saw any divas when I went :sad2: I didn't know until that morning we were going. It was our friends last day before they headed home.

Well I'm glad you got to go and spend the day there......it would have been nice to run into you!!

After getting pictures of the Scavy Hunt participants, I headed to the Partner's Statue area to meet up with Tyler. We had a reservation for the Minnie & Friend's Character Breakfast at the Plaza Inn.

We check in & go onto the patio to have our picture taken.

We then stop at the register to pay for our meal & then we're taken to our seats. We were seated up on the patio area, right by the door into the buffet area. We were able to see a number of the characters as they would come and go.

While I was in getting my breakfast, Tyler got a picture of Tigger as he was leaving.

362.jpg

He also took a picture of the table....lol

363.jpg

He got a picture of Chip.

Minnie passed by & Tyler caught a picture of her before she disappeared.

When I got back, it was Ty's turn to get his food. While I was sitting there, Eeyore passed by & "kissed" me on the head & then left. So no picture. Pooh bear kept coming & going by but never ended up at our table.....boooooo Captain Hook came by, so I was able to get his picture.

When we were both at the table, Max stopped by for a couple pics.

We seemed to be seated in an area where the characters never really go to.....so I got up & took some food porn pics.

When I got back, Minnie stopped and posed for pictures with us.

We waited for a little bit, but our area just wasn't in the character's routes this morning.....so we got up to go. As we were gathering our stuff.....Dale came by, so Tyler got one last picture.

So again, a number of characters at Minnie's but we were just seated in the wrong spot. The Pooh characters never did stop, just slowed to snap a pic as they left for their break.

From all the pictures I have seen from Minnie's breakfast that was a bad location. Almost like sitting right by the kitchen. Boo.

Yup, we were by the door they came out (and then went down below to the tables on the ground level) and then they'd rush by as they left for their breaks. So we were seeing characters, just not "getting" characters. Glad we didn't have the kids with us....that would have been hard on them!
