Hi Pat - Just getting caught up after returning from our trip. Loved the last update - that drink sounds fantabulous!!!! I am a soda fanatic, but I really don't think that I could handle the large coke - i would very quickly discover every restroom along the way home.

Welcome back. The drink was really yummy. That boy and his Coke challenge. The last time there were some unfortunate results from that much soda.

Sorry for the delay- Ever since our big League swim meet on March 3rd things have not slowed down.

My days have been filled with joy, drama, and just plain craziness lately but all is good.

I also have some news that will follow this update that is plain amazing, scary and fun.

OK so where were we?

On our last episode, we had just finished whooping it up at WCC. Chris had taken the large Coke challenge and well...... almost finished it. But at least this time there were no cleansing effects.

He was going to head back to the room as he was feeling tired and probably a little sloshy.

As the mother of year often does ......


I walked back outside to roam around.

I had to take a look at the villas.

Believe it or not while I wanted to see the villas, that was not my mission.
I walked back to the boat dock and waited. There was quite a crowd forming and no boat in site.

After waiting about 15 minutes and then a short boat ride, I landed here.

I walked down the path and found this pretty easily.

That is pretty neat.

I keep walking.

I was in search of the fabulous Christmas decorations that the people who camp at the Fort put up. I did not have to search long.

We did WCC in 2009 and the girls had a blast. I wish I had made it to the Villa to look around. I'm so glad you're posting pictures from there and from the Campsites.

Wouldn't it be great if they had lighted ground transportation to Fort Wilderness? OK - maybe that sounds weird, but when I at VWL I ran over there in the morning and its really not that far.

Glad Chris made it through that coke without too many bio breaks. And now mother of the year if off again on her own.

Can't wait to see some Christmas tree and other Xmas decoration pics from Fort Wilderness.

You are right if the path was welll lit I would have probably walked. I am a big chicken in the dark.

I have more energy than a 17 year old. At least I didnt drink a liter of soda. The last time was an hour pit stop at the campground.

these people go all out. The volume of decorations are staggering.

I only walked around one loop. So amazing.

I was a bit tired, it was dark and I had no idea where to wander next. I pointed myself back towards the dock.
Even though I knew I was safe, I am not a big fan of wandering around in a dark wooded area by myself.
I was heading to the MK but think we picked up at WL first.

What has been going on in my universe?

A big swim meet on March 3rd that consumed most of my time from Feb
27 until the big day.

I have been teaching a class 2 nights a week for all of Feb.

the amazing - 21 years ago this morning I became a mom.
My Wonderful DD Jenny - her old medic dress uniform that is huge on her little frame

This saturday Chris has a big birthday 18

Today I come home and he has gotten it cut

The sideburns are going. When did my teenage boy turn into a man?
