Good for you for following your heart on college choices.We talked about this a little bit in person, but I made myself stay in a college where I wasn't entirely happy and I still kind of regret it. It can be scary to make such a big decision, but I applaud you for having the guts to do it!

I think your reaction to falling was completely normal. Last year I fell in the shower when a moth got in my hair and cracked my elbow bone. It didn't even hurt that bad, but I cried for like an hour. Then I laughed about it for days.

Um, since you will be there shortly after me, did you see that two fave rides will be down? BTMRR and Test Track?! Seriously? How am I supposed to get people to fall in love with Disney if they close off two amazing rides? And now I am worried that with those two big attractions being down, the lines for the other rides will be longer. Crossing my fingers that it's not that bad and that I am just making it all up in my head.
YES I saw that! I'm so upset!! Don't worry... there are plenty of other things that you'll be able to show them! And don't worry... I don't think it'll affect the other lines too much. The crowds have so many places to disperse to, it won't be a big deal!

Yay soarin! I love that ride so much! Exciting that you guys got the front row! My very first time on soarin my mom and I were lucky enough to get the front row and we absolutely LOVED it! The second time we went on it we ended up in the second row which we didn't think would be a big deal because we would still get a decent view on the ride. We did still like the ride the second time but it didn't feel anywhere near as special and magical as it did when we were in the front. The ride to me just seems so much better in the front row. All the special effects on the ride just seem so much better to me from the front row. My mom agreed with me so ever since we have always just requested a front row seat and they have usually let us wait for one to be available if it wasn't already available. I know that seems really ride-snobbish but it really does make all the difference and soarin is the only ride anywhere that I will do that for. Sorry your mom didn't love that experience! It can be really overwhelming if you aren't use to the full blast of all the effects that soarin has to offer. I also think the edges are definitely more wild than the middle seats are. Glad you enjoyed it though!
I agree with you about the front being better. Especially having it be your first ride in the front, I bet that was awesome!! I sometimes ask for a front row seat because it really is just the best! And oh, my Mom still loved it, it just scares her a little.
yay illuminations! France has such a great view of illuminations. My family use to always go to france when we would see illuminations for most of my childhood. We have since switched to watching the show from italy but it really was amazing from france!

Funny that you guys were the last people in the park. I have always wondered what that must be like because my mom and I have wandered in the park after closing before (we always end up going the longer way around world showcase after illuminations to buy us more time in the park) but we have been far from the last people to leave the park. Was it a weird feeling? I don't blame you for forgetting to take a picture. I probably would have been so amazed with what had happened to remember to take a picture till I was in the car driving away from EPCOT.
Haha definitely! I mean, I have experienced a close to empty park before and I love the feeling of it! It's cool. It's a little creepy because the crowds are gone.. but definitely awesome.

Trip reports are kind of like the new scrapbooks, but it's nice to have the scrapbooks too. I think we're gonna go to Michael's this weekend and see if we can find some cute Disney things to put in it.

Great update! I love the crewneck you got! I've become obsessed with crewnecks lately. I hate anything with hoods since my hair is very long, so crewnecks are perfect! Especially Disney ones, my collection is now growing too
