TR:A Wonderful Disney "DREAM"!DH has been converted!

Loving ur report and i loved your fe! Can i pay you to make mine? Lol

Thank you so much bluejasmine! If you are serious and since you are the one and only person to ask... wait for it... I would not charge you a thing. I would only ask that you buy the material, and give me details of what you like or characters. PM if you are serious. Once again thank you so much.

This morning did not attempt to limp, walk or run on the track. We all slept like logs until I felt the vibration of us backing up. :yay: I immediately raced to the verandah and was thrilled to finally be at Castaway Cay.

All I could do was smile and jump up and down on the inside. I knew that I was not going back to sleep, so I just got ready for the day and headed for some breakfast. When I returned from breakfast everyone was still sound asleep even with the curtain wide open. I thought the light would have woke them up, but I guess not. I took upon myself to help them get their day started. Once they were all up and dressed we headed to Cabana's to get them all some grub. After a rushed breakfast we headed back to the room to get what we would need for a couple of hours. There was a bit of a line to get off the ship when we got downstairs. When we had to show our KTTW cards one was missing, so DH gave me the look of death and slowly darted back to deck seven to get DS card. Don't make eye contact with DH was what I kept telling myself( I felt a nuclear meltdown and Hiroshima creeping over me). I took some deep breaths and just remembered that we are at a happy place. After that near miss we got off the ship and picked up some towels from one of the stations before we boarded the tram. It was a quick 5 minute ride to the family beach. Since we were there kind of early, we found a good location in the shade for us to lounge. DD was ready to get in the water so and I went and got 2 floats and a life jacket for her.

We all ventured out into the water and it felt good(not to cold). DH tried to get DD to relax, but this next photo was what he got.

We live 20 minutes from a beachand you would have thought that she has never been in the water before. Well after about an hour she finally relaxed and enjoyed herself. The beach there is pretty rocky and DS was picking up small boulders and throwing them. That didn't last long, because he got yelled at by his loving mother. Wear water shoes is all that I can say on that note. ( I'll pick up again later, my lil people are begging for some breakfast. Don't want them to pass out or anything).

I remember that the area was stoney too. I was happy we had water shoes. Though, I had to empty stones out every so often.

That was the only part I did not like about the beach. I thought that it was nice to have the fish swim around your feet at times.

Loving your TR! I see you had Andre as your server. We LOVE Andre!! Can't wait to read more.

I last left off with my son throwing the huge rocks that were in the water. I enjoyed seeing the fish swim around you. One woman started freaking out because the fish were swimming around her seat that she dragged into the water. This morning was kind of crazy as far as the swimmers go. One man fell off his inner tube and almost drown. It took the life guards about 30 secs to respond, because I think they didn't know if the man was playing or not. The man's daughter started screaming for help, saying my dad can't swim. Why would you go out that far and you can't swim? These are questions I still ask myself even though I have seen victims of drowning, because I work in an ER. So sad to have to witness vacationers loose their lives. Well moving on from those downers. After those episodes it was time to eat. We were close by Cookies, so once they opened we headed over to get some grub.
Here is my plate and it is the only one I managaed to take a picture of.

I thought that the food was good. The kids didn't want to eat that much, because they wanted to head back to the water. After lunch we lounged on the beach a little bit longer before we noticed some storm clouds approaching

At this point four hours had past, so we headed back so that we would not get caught in the rain. I have said this before, that we live 20 minutes near beautiful beaches that can rival the Carribean beaches. I never thought you can find this kind water in the US. Here are some photos of the beach near our home.

Ok, enough of that! So we waited about 10 minutes to board the tram to get back to the ship. Here are a couple of photos on the way back.

Once we got off the tram we washed off our feet at the stations that they had for that purpose, and returned the borrowed towels. Today I was finally going to ride the Aquaduck and I did with shear happiness. The wait was about 15 minutes and it seemed to move quickly. This was the line before I sat and waited for it to die down.
disneycruisepics196.jpg

The kids wanted to play in the pool, so I found some shade nearby and watched DD. DH and DS rode the Aquaduck a couple of times. After about three hours I was ready to go shower and change clothes. So I dragged the kids out of the pool and we all headed to the room to get changed. We had some characters to meet.....
TO BE CONT'D!

Ya for thre Aqua duck......I can't wait to have another go on it. It was such a nice relaxing day. your kids sound like mine. They just love palying in the water and beach. Unfortunately we don't have any near us.

You are making me so excited to cruise! I love relaxing days like that. Glad you liked the Aquaduck, can't wait to try it.

Your beaches are definitely beautiful :)

I can't wait to ride it a couple of more times in July.:cool1:

After we showered, DD and I went to take pictures with as many characters that we could. This was the time in the cruise that if you mixed any characters was your final chance to get a photo op. I must say that we did not get a picture with Captain Mickey and we were disappointed. We also failed to get a picture with Tianna.

Looking at the pictures, we only did a couple characters before DD wanted to go to the kids clubs. DS was long gone back to the Edge. He did not want to take pictures with any of the characters. I dropped her off then headed back to the room to drag DH away from the TV. We decided to go up and get a drink for him and a soda for myself. We sat and enjoyed each others company for awhile.

We could not believe that our first cruise was coming to a close. We watched the horizon and took notice of other ships in the distance. After about an hour or so, I went to guest services to get the tickets for the tips. I was able to walk right up to the counter with no wait. After that I headed back to the room to start to pack. I left out our dinner clothes and disembarkation clothes. After that I headed back to the kids clubs to pick DD. She was happy to leave the club, about an hour or so is all that she could take. We decided to do the Detective Agency at this time. It took us about 30 minutes to complete it. We really enjoyed it and found parts of the ship that we would not have found otherwise.

Great character pictures! I always love pictures of vacation toes. LOL! It just conveys how relaxed a vacation can be!

Boo for the end of the cruise.
