Okay Okay I know this topic has been discussed here a million times. You people are awesome.
I found the girl I want to marry. I put a ring on it and we got a date all set. We have decided we going to WDW for our Honeymoon.

Question: Where is the best place you think one should spend there honeymoon?

I'm going bonkers trying to make everything perfect.

Currently after doing my research from you fine people, my first choice is the WL Honeymoon suite.
Is there any other "For two" and romantic rooms in other resorts you fine people can suggest? Pictures really don't do justice in hotels. Where did you guys stay on honeymoons? What did you wish you stayed and did?

THANKS!

Dave

First off....:welcome:

And Congratulations on your engagement!!! VERY exciting!!!

So, I think the WL Honeymoon Suite sounds great, though I've heard it's not any bigger than the other rooms, but I believe it has a jacuzzi tub (someone will correct me if I'm wrong)

DH and I had our Disneymoon 10 years ago...
We stayed at....wait for it....All Star Sports  we just couldn't afford anything else, and you know what...it didn't matter to us one bit...we were just so happy to be married and to be on our honeymoon I think we could have stayed in a box and still have been happy. :lovestruc. That being said, WL and Poly were our dream resorts for our honeymoon...we have had several trips to Disney since then with our daughters and have stayed values and one mod, but this summer we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary at the Poly and BC and I am soooooo excited!!! :cloud9: even though our girls will be with us, this is like our honeymoon reboot!!! :rotfl:

First off, Congrats!:thumbsup2

My wife and I honeymooned at the BC for several reasons...

1. Location...we could walk to EPCOT, and most importantly, to the F&W Festival!

2. Atmosphere...we had heard that the BC has more kid appeal than the YC, but honestly, I did not notice any major difference. After all, you're in WDW!

3. Service....the CM's at the BC were PHENOMENAL! THey did everything from champagne and strawberries to the room to drawing baths, and every step of the way they made my wife feel extra special. They were amazing!

GF would be another logical choice, but really, you can't go wrong with any of the deluxes. Have a great time!

We had our honeymoon at WDW and stayed at CBR because we decided that we wouldn't really be in the room all that much. That being said if I had to choice a moderate again I would go with CSR or deluxe Polynesian. If I wanted a Villa I think Saratoga because of the spa.

Thank you so much guys. Now Im thinking Beach club or FW... Thank you all for your replies!

If I could do it again, and you did say "perfect" ;), I'd want the GF honeymoon suite in the main building. OMG! HEAVEN!:cloud9:

Congratulations! DH and I honeymooned in Disney- we weren't as knowledgeable back then about Disney are we are now. We had a room at the POR with a view of the river. I was just happy to be in Dinsey :wizard:

See, thats what I think she wants too. She told me she would take just about anything (Sorry, not a box though). I really want this to be special.. like, magical omg special...
Then there is the option of going though Costco and saving about $2k but staying off propriety...

GF is way out of a young married couples price range :-(

OMG I agree!!!! and people say its not even worth it bc your hardly in your room... I agree to a point you are on your honeymoon :rotfl2: and your paying for the amenities I guess... IDK i'm so torn because my dream since I was a little girl was to look at the castle out of my window... but for almost 400 a night i don't know if its worth it... and I don't want to tease myself with going one or two nights during our stay because i know how I am lol :scared:

What about an MK view room at BLT?

I also think BCV or YC are great choices. There are lots of lovely rooms at WDW. You can always "plus" your honeymoon with experiences such as special dining or fireworks cruises etc.

Have you thought about renting DVC points and staying in a 1 bed at VWL. This will be far bigger than a regular WL room and it will have a full kitchen, king size bed, lounge area and jacuzzi bath. Renting DVC points will be significantly cheaper than booking direct with Disney.

Having said all that, I spent my honeymoon in a regular room at AKL and we loved it. We bought into DVC whilst on our honeymoon so that we can enjoy the magic every year.

Congratulations!

I say stay where you can afford. You can make it extra special by planning special meals and activities. You will be so happy to be married and at WDW, it won't matter which resort you are at. If you want to tell us your price range, we can be more help.

Also, you can plan a special anniversary down the road, as finances change & stay at your "dream resort".

 STAY AWAY FROM THE WL HM SUITE!!!!!

We just wasted our money there for a few nights for Christmas eve/day during our WDW honeymoon in December and it was not a good room. Yes, it's private and it's located on the very nice club level floor, but the room and small and cramped-smaller than regular rooms there. It was really outdated and in bad need of renovation. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was nice, but did not make up for the really drab and run down room. If you want to stay in the WL and ou want a jacuzzi, stay at one of the villas. Don't waste your money on the WL honeymoon suite-it is a total waste of money.:guilty:

We spent the majority of our honeymoon at the Poly in the Hawaii/club level building and it was heavenly:cloud9: we payed for the cheapest view-garden view-and our view was gorgeous on the 3rd floor. Beautiful and comfy room-huge and luxurious. The lounge and the cast members were all wonderful and we have never felt so spoiled! And the location and ease of transportation cannot be beat. I wish we had upgraded to the Poly honeymoon suite for Christmas eve/day instead.
