70 to Freezing in 7 hours. A Nov/Dec 2011 trip report. Updated 4/28

Those both sound like great vacations! Either way, you'll have fun! :goodvibes

Yeah just have to find time to discuss them and book one college is a bit :scared1: busy at the mo! Lots of assignments and assessments to be done before lectures finally finish so we can concentrate on our final projects!

I was out and about during the week and found this really cute St. Patricks day card which needed a pic:

Then last weekend I went to England to visit my sister and two nieces. Saturday one of the girlies was going to a concert so we had a quiet day and just hung around the house mostly. Sunday was the same although DN10 and DS and I went to see The Muppets. I went again even though I saw it in Florida in December but it's brill :) Momma and DN13 went to see Woman in Black. Then Monday the girlies had school so Momma and I went shopping for a while and of course went to:

They had Muppets in the window:

I was raging because there was this really cool looking cart that was meant to look like it was made from acorns, wood and leaves like the fairies made it and it was full of Tinkerbell stuff and I took a pic to show y'all but my crappy phone decided not to save the photo. It did save the pic of the front of a super cool Muppets Notebook:

and these cute pictures that were in the baby section:

I got a punk rocker Stitch vinylmation and Angel got a new friend and a new t-shirt from build a bear:

I could do college work or I could do a trip update :)

Day 5, part 2:

So when I left you we were about to head off in the direction of some rides and a whole lot of firsts because most of these rides we have never actually done before  Our first stop and new experience was to visit a cute purple dragon called Figment. Ride was a walk on and I’m pretty sure we were the only people on the ride at the time we went. Pics:

We also learnt a lesson on that ride that it pays to read ahead. I had been reading FreezinRafiki’s trip report so knew about a certain stink room and when I copped what was actually going on in the ride once it got to the stink room I held my nose. Momma saw me doing this and I hit her hand off her nose going no leave it down. So then Figment let out his stink and Momma went YOU’RE A BEE WITH AN ITCH! :lmao:
After exploring ImageWorks for a bit we then went in to see Captain EO. We’d never seen this before either:
DSCF2317.jpg

It was ok. I don’t think we’ll rush to it again but it was interesting to see once. We also heard a man giving out to a lady before we went in about a show with Michael Jackson being included in a Disney park after all he is supposed to have done. I was pretty much thinking oh just get over it and stop grumping, YOU’RE IN DISNEY WHO CARES ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE! Maybe that’s just me though :confused3
Anyways we explored the shop for a few mins. I took pics (shock horror: )

Then we headed for:

Before heading in to visit Nemo’s fishy friends I took a few pics:

We finally went inside for our journey under the sea:

Next up: We did all that in how many hours?

Too bad the Tink pic didn't come out!! How was the movie the 2nd time around? Is it one you can see twice?

I missed that Figment tree!! Good catch!

The Tink cart was really cute

I liked the Movie even the second time. Second time I was anticipating what was coming up but it was nice to introduce the niece to the Muppets and my DS laughed alot at the cheesiness of it. I've now got two of the songs stuck in my head. :lmao:

You might notice as I go on in the trip report I had a thing for the Christmas trees so if I saw tree I took pic :) Plus figment tree was purple my fave colour so win win :)

I saw Captain EO for the first time in December and I have to agree with you - it was OK - I'm glad I saw it but I definitely won't be running back to see it anytime soon. :rotfl:

Love your Figment pictures. glad you decided to update instead of studying! ;)

Disney is always better than study! :littleangel:

I love Figment! So glad you got to experience it.

I have not done Captain EO. I just feel like I'd be wasting my precious park time but maybe it's worth it doing once. :confused3

Kadence loves your Muppet photos, her fav is Kermit and Miss Piggy. We haven't seen the movie yet, soon!

We haven't done Figment or Cap EO, Dh is not too interested, but maybe some day. \

Nemo! Love Nemo, and make it a must do everytime!

I'm a big Figment fan, although I appreciate the original ride a little bit more than the current version. I remember on my first ever Disney trip, I got my picture with Dreamfinder and Figment. We came home with a few Figment souvenirs that trip. I even had a Figment Sippy cup that DS uses when he visits the grandparents.

The part about the stink room and your momma is hilarious. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I have to say, I would like to see them get Michael Jackson out of the parks too. Not because of what he may or may not have done, but because Captain E.O. stinks worse than Figment's skunk smell.:rolleyes1

My favorite color too!
:thumbsup2 good choice. My room is purple, my dance dresses were purple. I love it :)

I like Figment it was a cute ride.

Yeah I probably won't go see it again but it was interesting to see once.

Thanks :) My fave is Fozzie bear. I've a little toy of Fozzie from when I was a baby it's Fozzie bear on a little yellow horse on wheels. I still have it in the attic somewhere.

We haven't done Figment or Cap EO, Dh is not too interested, but maybe some day. \
Figment was cute, Captain EO was meh! If I had to choose between the two I'd go for Figment.

Nemo! Love Nemo, and make it a must do everytime!
Nemo is cool. We have done it before at one stage but not for a few years.

That's so cool that your DS gets to use your souvenirs from your past trips. Figment is cute. I don't think we saw the original version maybe we did in 95 :confused3 There's alot of random pics from 95 that I don't really know what they are from eg: there's one that was a huge paint brush and I was standing beside it. I remember there was a pic on the wall near the ceiling and there was a computer panel under the brush that you picked your colour from and then aimed it at the picture. I have no idea where that was parkwise though :rotfl:

The part about the stink room and your momma is hilarious. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:
It was a lesson because she normally gives out about the amount I talk about dis boards and everything I learn from the dis boards and other peoples trip reports. That's one fact she wished I shared with her in advance :rotfl:

I have to say, I would like to see them get Michael Jackson out of the parks too. Not because of what he may or may not have done, but because Captain E.O. stinks worse than Figment's skunk smell.:rolleyes1
I know we always ask each other after a new experience what we thought of it and Captain EO was like eh it was interesting. I think all we got out of it was we liked the cute furry thing with wings :lmao:

Day 5, part 3:

So when I left you we were taking a journey under the sea with Nemo and friends. After that we decided to explore the Seas area a bit because we'd never done that before either:

Then we saw Manatees. We normally pay a visit to Manatees in Seaworld every time we go but I was so happy to find them here as well. I love the Manatees:

We went to see Turtle talk with Crush. Flash back in 2008 I think it was on our dancing trip we staying in Holiday Inn at entrance to Universal and there was TGI Fridays attached to it. They had given everyone in the group vouchers for a meal because of a mix up with hotel rooms when we arrived so one day we went to use this and we got this funny little waitress that I believe my mother wanted to choke by the time we left :lmao: We placed our order and she went "Awesome" to everything we said. Momma asked for a clean fork she went "very cool" Momma asked for another drink the same as one before again "Very Cool". Basically anything we said to her, her answer was either Awesome or very cool to the point Momma said If she says awesome one more time I'm going to scream. So waitress came down and Momma said I'd like to pay now and I have this voucher that I'd like to use and little miss waitress went AWESOME Momma's face went so mad and I burst out laughing and waitress looked really confused. We still laugh about that day every so often :rotfl: Skip forward to Turtle talk and at the end of the show Crush told everyone to use the phrase "Awesome dude" as often as they could for the rest of the day. Momma said if you use it once I'm going to hit you :lmao: I took some more pics before we left the Seas to head to our next adventure:
DSCF2357.jpg

Then we headed for:
DSCF2358.jpg

On the way in I noticed there was a board with wait times. It said that wait time for Soarin was 50 minutes and wait time for Living with the Land was ten. This was shortly before 12 according to my little trip diary. Anyways we went in and took some pics:
DSCF2361.jpg

before going on or next new experience Living with the Land and the wait time was wrong because it was not a ten minute wait it was a walk on. I took many pics again these are just a selection of the best:
I like this one because it kind of looks like I'm inside the Golf ball even though I'm not!

Next up: A visit to new Furry friend!

That's a funny story about the "very cool" "awesome" waitress. I would've been ready to strangle her as well!

Sounds like y'all were having fun experiencing your "firsts". :thumbsup2 I want to do Turtle Talk this year if Reid will oblige me. I really enjoy the Living with the Land ride. It's really interesting & relaxing!

I think Momma still has nightmares about her :lmao: Whenever we're messing we'll answer with Awesome or Very Cool and still laugh about that day.

I like firsts because it proves my point to Momma that we haven't done everything in Disney World yet and there is reason to keep going back. Living with the Land was interesting, another case of Disney disguising education and learning with fun!

I think Reid would like Turtle talk all the kids get to sit in a special area at the front and Crush talks to them. I always want to push some of the kids out of the way so Crush would talk to me :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Where you afraid your mom was going to have a flashback to the awesomely awesome waitress you met on a prior trip? :rotfl2: Too funny.

I love Living with the Land and you got great shots!

I think she gets a flashback everytime she hears the word awesome:lmao: Eitherway she told me she'd hit me everytime I said awesome dude if I did what Crush said :rotfl:

:I love Living with the Land and you got great shots!

Thank you. That was only a small selection of what I got. There was more! Happy Snappy went a little crazy in Disney last year :littleangel:
