Do the POLY rooms ever come down into the $300 range or better for 1 night? I would love to stay at the POLY for our arrival night before my package at BWI CL kicks in on Sept 29..... The prices seem so high and I am having a hard time justifying $495 plus tax for 1 day! I have thought about AOA as well, but I think this would be a great opportunity to try out the POLY without a huge commitment, and if I love it, then it might be a great choice for my future anniversary trip. Being as I only need a room for one night, I hope some discount or better pricing might be obtainable :)

You won't know until the discounts come out. There will be discounts. Its hard to say if you will get the discount for a 1 night stay especially a Friday night. If you go to the spring discounts and put in for a Friday night it does come up available on some Friday nights. The discounts in the Fall are better at the Poly. I think your chances are good. September 28 is not a super popular time.

Last September it was only 30%.

Thats better than the 20% Spring offer.:confused3

Thanks guys :goodvibes it's so hard waiting! I am the type of person who likes to have things bought and settled.....waiting is hard! I don't like limbo :rotfl:
I will keep my fingers crossed I can get a good rate for one night :thumbsup2

Well, for the date you need with 40% off you'd be at $297+tax, but that's a best case scenario.

Good luck. The Poly is spectacular

That would be nice, for sure :goodvibes I understand it's best case scenario....I can dream, :rotfl: in any event, I think even if I get a smaller discount , I may just jump on it just for the chance to experience the POLY.....I'll keep my fingers crossed for the next round of discounts! :thumbsup2

DVCZerfs - You feel my pain - LOL

Of course I can not complain as she paid my air fare from Chicago and back for the June 2011 trip. Must have raised her right. She also covers my cel phone costs each year. (helps she is an executive for a cel Co.). Guess that college education didn't cost me after all!

Do you have an AP? I got Poly for $297/nt ($314 with taxes) with the 40% off AP Early Booking Discount for March. 2 1/2 more weeks!! :cool1:

Ok sorry, I'll whisper...

I'm going to be at The Poly in 2 1/2 weeks!!!!!!!!!

Hey did you get that fancy schmancy new camera yet?

Yes, and her name is Mabel. :rotfl: She's my third child. I love her as if I birthed her! I can't wait to take her out at the Poly and get some beautiful shots of the grounds. :lovestruc

AP discount was worth it to me as well. Family of 5 AP was a lot but I still saved $500 in the end. Plus we are going back in January and then going back exactly 9 days before they expire. So total savings is goIng to be phenomanal! Even if they don't offer AP discount next year!

Isn't it great when you only have to pay for the room and food. We are making our 4th trip in May with our Ap's. Not all have been at the Poly. We have tried BW, AKL, BC and WL. Poly is still our favorite. I think I am going to be really sad when my Aps expire May 14.

I want to publicly thank Carrie772 for helping me pick a garden view some weeks ago that is more than a garden view. Just checked in a couple hours ago and got my request, Fiji third floor, with view of marina, Contemporary, and Space Mountain. No complaints here!

(I am a first time Poly guest by the grace of a pixie dust upgrade from a POR Royal Guest Room.)

We just enjoyed the Electric Water Pageant and heading back to the beach in a few minutes to catch Wishes from a whole new point of view.

Thanks again to you and everyone else who posted helpful information for me to learn from. :thumbsup2

Sticker shock buying AP for all five adult rate family members at once :scared1: but I wish I would have done it sooner! Now we have an excuse to jump on a plane (maybe getting last minute deal) arriving staying for couple days.. Maybe a long weekend and be back in philly without missing a beat. :cool1: wake up and say eh let's go to Disney. I am all about "the money I can save" and the more we go on the AP the better I feel about the price.

Glad you are loving the Poly. (knew you would) and wishes will never be the same for you after watching it on the heavenly Poly beach! Now what are you gonna do when your booking your next trip and the Poly bug starts rolling around in your head? Nothing else will compare. Poly is an addiction!
