Amenities in Spa Showers????

Anyone know what amenities are in the spa showers? I think I heard there were disposable razors. Anything else?

I am determined to pack much lighter for this next cruise.

If I recall -- face wash, body lotion, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, disposable razors, combs, q-tips. And a blow dryer!

Sounds great! I plan to use this showering area from now on. I checked it out after my rainforest room time on the Dream and it looked great, I just didn't come prepared with other needed items.

In the showers they have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The amenities on the counter have varied a bit over the years, but typically include Q-tips, razors, shower caps, cotton balls or applicator pads, and some sort of product(s) that include a hand/body lotion, sometimes a facial cleanser and moisturizer, and sometimes other goodies.

Are they co-ed, the pictures that I saw looked like they did'nt have doors. Do you wear your bathing suit in them? I read that there was a day pass, is this true and can we buy this after we get on the ship? This will be my first cruise in April and I still am gathering info.

I'm actually interested in this reply also. We were on the Dream last week, and DH and I did get Rainforest Room passes for one day. We tried out the showers in the Rainforest Room, but that can't be what the OP was asking about - they aren't private, and certainly didn't appear to be for hygiene purposes. There were no products of any kind in those showers that I could see.

After the rainforest room, DH and I basically threw on some cover-ups/t-shirts and left, so I didn't even notice the amenities in the locker room. I'm guessing that's what the OP is asking about? And I'm curious too if one could use those showers any time without a rainforest pass? My guess would be yes, assuming you told them you were there to use the fitness facilities, which are inside the spa area and appear to utilize the same locker roomconfused3). Not sure what the response would be if you just came and said "I'm here for the shower". LOL.

I have used the locker rooms on all 3 ships (I won't get to check out the Fantasy until November) . . .

• they are not co-ed
  
• in the showers they have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but they are in wall dispensers
  
• I was thinking that you had to get a spa treatment to use them, however, the gym is free and they use the same locker room, so I'm guessing you can use it whenever the gym is open

One of my favorite things to do is shampoo and put conditioner on and go sit in the sauna. The heat works great on my hair- then I go in an rinse.
I will tell you the disposable razors on the Dream were cheap and I feel sure I would have sliced off part of my leg if I had used them and there is no shaving cream.
