I am looking for some offsite hotel recommendations for 1!
I will be flying in on the 4th and leaving the 5th for Disney. Utterly Insane I know!!!! I hope to have the first flight out in the morning of the 4th so I can get to IOA as early as possible. (noon maybe?).
1. I need a hotel that has transportationg from MCO to the HOtel,
2. Transportation to and from Islands of Adventure
3. somewhat reasonably priced
4. Hotel will hold my luggage on check inn day (assuming room is not ready so I can go to IOA.

I am only staying the 1 night before a surprise trip to Disney, so I would like to take advantage of coming in one day earlier to see Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Realistically this is all I am planning. It is going to be so busy, so I don't plan to do anything else since I think with the crowds I may not even have time to see all of WWOHP

I have looked at the onsite hotels and sadly I just can't justify the price for one night :(

TIA!
Erin

I don't think any hotels have free transportation from the airport.

The hotels on Major Blvd. have transportation to the parks.

The larger hotels (such as Doubletree) will probably hold your luggage.

looking at your siggie, the 4th you are talking about is in July.

with the park going to be packed for that day, staying onsite would be best.

if you stay offsite, lines for rides will be long.

check out the forum of orlando hotels.
could be something there with the info you need.

Moving to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board for more responses.

not sure why you moved this.

most of the offsite stuff is for Disney not US/IOA - which are not even close to each other.

there is hardily any rental housing near US/IOA - hardily any timeshares (although there are a couple).

most of the recommendation here are for the Disney area - they are just offsite instead of onsite.

if you want to see Harry potter and not wait most of the day in lines - then do Universal onsite.

Universal hotels offer FOLE - front of line entry - the pass you can buy just don't work as well. (as well as being very expensive)

there are hotels near the airport that have transportation back and forth to the airport. there are none that I know of that also will transportation you to US.

I imagine then I can just book a car or cab to take me to universal.
I've contemplated staying onsite, but for one night and a 1 day/1 park ticket, it is $365. It is double what I would play staying offsite and after a 3 grand trip to Disney.... I can't justify the extra $.

We stayed at the Doubletree across the street from Universal a few months ago. For one night, it will more than do the trick. Good price, across the street from Universal, Starbucks in the lobby...Granted, I would not have stayed there any longer than one night, but from what you described it is likely a good fit...
