I'm the guy that buys Christmas presents and gives them to you in October, because I know you will like them.

When some juicy tidbit about one of our trips comes across my desk....I immediately want to call each of you and tell you.....and then post it on the boards in the LARGEST font.

This "skill" has been acquired after years of John threatening me with "you can share this now......or ...you can go on the trip".

I love to share good news, but I also love to see happy, surprised faces.

It's a tough job sometimes.

I listened to this week's shows and I thought it was interesting that Kevin mentioned that almost all of the upcoming Italy trip guests were repeat ABD folks. Along with being our first trip to London or Paris, this is also our first ABD trip. What about everyone else?

We did BSM last June and it was incredible. ABD is the best vacation we have ever taken, and I am guessing this trip is gonna be 10 times better than that one!

When do you have to book by to go on this trip? Dh and I are both self employed, so we have no clue how much money and time we will have in the fall till at least mid summer. Is that too late?
Dh has always wanted to go to Paris and Disneyland Paris and Stonehenge are both on my bucket list. This trip would be perfect!

There is no deadline for booking, until about 2 weeks prior to departure, when ABD closes the trip for finalization.

We have a limited number of spaces available for this trip, but there is still availability.

Brought this trip up to the husband and greatly considering going. Threw an email your way Kevin but thought I should stop by and say hi since I'm not active on the boards but I listen to the podcast fairly regularly.

Only thing I'm lamenting over truly is the price but from listening to reports it seems very worth it. Trying to convince my husband seems to be the hardest part right now. That and this trip would kill the vacation fund and I no longer have a job to replenish it but if life has taught me anything waiting till the 'right' time may never come and I don't things will ever get any 'cheaper'.

Edit: made the decision to book and am so excited! *jumps up and down*

There is a ShakeAway in Windsor and it's just down the road from the castle (on Peascod Street). This DISer invented the George milkshake on the regular menu, but you can make your own blend, too! (I have no stake in ShakeAway, other than as an interested patron who wants to make sure it's still there the next time I go to England!)

For a more English flavor in your shake, my personal favorite is chocolate, ginger nuts and custard. (where's the yummy face? )
