5 night double-dip cruise in 40 days!! :cheer2:

At this point, is it even possible to add another person to our reservation, if there's still space available in our stateroom?

Also, are passports/cards REQUIRED for adults if they plan on exiting the ship in Nassau?

TIA

Regarding adding another passenger - you have to contact Disney or your TA and find out. I tried adding a passenger about 8-9 months before sailing, but even though my room would accommodate two more people, Disney had already put a "capacity control" on that type of room (or something like that). So I would have had to get another stateroom, if any were still available.

Hope that helps!

You can only add another person if: a. if your room will hold that number of people. b. if there is lifeboat space for that location. So, while your (for example) 4 person room only has 2 people in it right now, if the lifeboat for that location is full, you cannot add another person to your room

While passports are a good idea, if there is any kind of emergency and you need to fly home, closed-loop cruises (beginning and ending in the same US port on the same ship) do not require passports, only a certified birth certificate and a gov't issued photo ID (drivers license, state ID card, etc).

:cutie:

Another consideration for adding a passenger is whether the maximum amount of children of a given age group has been reached if you are adding a minor.

If your area of the ship has reached muster station capacity, I've heard of people being able to add someone by moving to another area if it's available (sometimes with an upgrade charge).

Passports are not required. I'm avoiding the whole debate about whether they are a good idea.

The ship fills in 3 ways--number of cabins, space in lifeboat station, and space in age appropriate kid programming. Adding a person requires availability of all 3 of these.
