Just curious how it was b/c when DH & I signed up for it on our cruise back in November, when we went in to do it, it was less than stellar (& we know how it should have been b/c we've done it numerous times before that cruise on both the Magic & the Wonder). The room was hardly steaming and the steam was just luke warm, thus the seats in the room were cold. We told the attendant & she let us reschedule it to try again later in the cruise and assured us they'd have the technicians look into fixing it. FF to later in our cruise...they said the techs worked on it. They had us go in and check the steam (temp as well as amount) + the heat of the seats in the steam portion of the rasul room. It was not any better than it had been on our original booking, so we opted not to do it (again) and they just refunded our $. We were very disappointed, to say the least.

I'm asking b/c we're booked on the Magic in March and would like to try the rasul again, but only if it seems to be working properly. So if any of you have done it since November, can you please provide any & all info that you possibly can so we can make an educated decision. We do not want to bother booking and then have to go thru what we went thru back in Nov., therefore wasting precious time that could have been spent doing something more enjoyable, if that makes sense. No need to take time out of our day just for it to be wasted. ;)

Thanks in Advance!!!:thumbsup2

Here is my review of it from last week.

I would not recommend it to anyone. This is the only thing we were disappointed in. It looks like I had a whole different set of problems than you had.

That's definitely a different experience than we had. Two questions: What time of day did you do your rasul? & Secondly, do you know if there were ppl. that used it right before you or did they have to turn it all on to get it ready for your appointment? I'm thinking this might make a huge difference (whether it's been running all day vs. just being turned on before the clients' appointment).

Thanks for the review. I appreciate it! :thumbsup2

We did it at 2pm on our St Thomas day. I have no idea if there was someone in it before us or not. It must have been on a while because the seats were so hot they burned.

Thanks for the additional info. We appreciate it. :thumbsup2 Sorry your experience was ruined, like ours was, but at least they refunded your $. Sadly though, not your time wasted. :guilty:

Well, live and learn. My DH was hesitant about but he does these things for me because he says if we hadn't done it we might have missed out on something nice. I visited the rain forest room and was thinking the Rasul room would be a mini, private version of that. I think that is what the Rasul is supposed to be. We think not that many people use it so they don't really bother with the up-keep. We could be wrong, just a theory.
