we are going to be on the April 20 th cruise and I signed us up for the harbor cruise at 9:45 am. My question is, if the ship dock's at 9:30 can we make the harbor cruise without killing ourselves to get off the ship. Is 15 minutes enough time to get there? first time cruiser by the way

Should have no problem. That tour unless it changed, boards at the seawall just outside the terminal in Nassau. If I remember corrstly, youll actually meet in the theatre, and be walked out to the location where the boat leaves from. Also, even though the time says 930, the ship will prob be there earlier, due to customs clearance etc.

We just got off the 2/2 sailing of the Dream and booked the Nassau Harbor Tour.

The 9:45 time is the time you will meet on the ship. For us it was in 627. They check you in there, give you a sticker with a character (we had Simba). Then they wait for folks to show up and we left 627 about 10:00. Then we were put into groups outside by character. harbor cruise and see and sea go to same boat dock, about a 10 minute walk with a DCL guide, down the dock, through festival place where you can buy a water for $1, then to the dock where we boarded the Ballyhoo.

We boarded that boat finally and it finally left aboiut 10:30 or so, maybe later.

So no worries, the excursion time is the meet time, not the boat leaving time.

Do you recommend this tour?

Why not just take the water taxi to Paradise Island? Its about $6 per person and the guy running the taxi will do a little information as you go by.
The water taxis are right by the terminal building, walk out and go the the right you'll see them there.

Just a suggestion.
