Must do off property restaraunts...

We like Bahama Breeze on International Drive. Great Food. Ate there last year when we visited Universal Studios.

Me i am happy when they are. I do enjoy most any way.

If there is a chain restaurant with two or more locations anywhere in the US, you can bet that one of those is within a five minute drive of WDW borders.

The good news: if there is a chain you like, but can't get to at home, you can pay a visit. The bad news: they have essentially choked off anything that could be remotely considered "local" or "unique". For that, you probably need to head up to the Dr. Phillips area, or even farther. For example, I've heard that the Ravenous Pig is pretty good, up in Winter Park.

Colombia Restaurant in Celebration.

Charlie's Steakhouse on Universal Dr.

Ruth's Chris on Sand Lk just west of I-4.

What he said!

Not chain-of-the day, but all three very good choices. Charlie's and Ruth's Chris are a bit pricey (+/-$40 per person without adult beverages); Columbia is more moderate ($25-30 pp, without adult beverages).

If you're looking for both entertainment and food, check into Medieval Times, Pirates Adventure, Arabian Knights and I think there was a mystery one (I want to say Al Capone?). The food is good, not great, but the interactive shows are spectacular and fun!

Sleuths Mystery Diner. Right behind Wet n' Wild. Below average food but lots of fun. Really worth going to.

I agree! My son and I went to this in the past and had a great time. This def. worth the drive.
