Getting film/disposable cameras developed CHEAP?

My dd had a party last month and has 10 disposable cameras and in cleaning my basement and some drawers I found about 10 film rolls that need to be developed.
I started looking around and holy cow it's quite expensive to get these things developed. (Thank goodness for digital cameras!!!)
Most run $6-$8 EACH!!
Anyone know of cheaper prices or have any ideas that would save money?

A long time ago they use to have these mail order envelopes that you could send in your film for processing for a very low price. Don't know if they still do, I'm strickly digital.

I think it's your definition of cheap for that service that's the issue here, honestly. I don't think $6 for a roll of film is expensive. I don't know you'll find much cheaper than that, but good luck. I'd try online?

$6 isn't that bad if I only 1 or 2 camera. But $120 is my roadblock!
I am just used to having my pics on my digital camera and I only print what I want.
Typically with film only 60% of the pics are even decent and I am paying for unusable prints.
I am searching online as we speak....

Before digital times, I remember having film developed at K-Mart and Walmart for between $4.50-$6.50 and I can't imagine it would be any cheaper now.

I've used Snapfish and York within the last year. Both were around $7 a roll. I had the APS film and keep finding rolls. It's fun to see what I get back, but I only print single prints since I have no idea what's on these rolls. I am always amazed at what I took pics of before digital...always so cautious as it was expensive to develop them as a teen and young adult. : ) Now I don't even think anything about taking 1000 pics in a long weekend trip to WDW! Yay for digital!

I went to Walgreen's and just asked what kind of deal they could give me since I had so many. The guy offered to make discs for each one of them for 5.00 each which saved me 3.00 off each one. The total was still high, but at least I had them to download onto computer and just pick the ones I wanted printed. Never hurts to ask! Good luck!

Oh, I know what you're saying, it totally adds up, I just meant it doesn't seem like they're actually charging that much. It's the total that's throwing you, not what they're charging.

The only cheaper thing I can think of is if you can find someplace left that will just do a proof sheet for you. Then you can pick whatever you want printed.

Pro - cheaper if you only want some prints.

Con - per print usually more spendy that way.

My local one-hour place used to do proofs for me if I asked, for like $3 or something.
